Job summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Cardiac Physiologist.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing, patient-centred service, delivering high-quality cardiac diagnostic and therapeutic care. The successful candidate will work within a supportive multidisciplinary team, providing excellent care and helping to enhance the patient experience while supporting service development and innovation.
Main duties of the job
As a Healthcare Scientist/Cardiac Physiologist within the Cardio-Respiratory Department, you will be expected to work independently across all core aspects of cardiology diagnostics. This includes performing and analysing 12-lead ECGs, fitting and analysing ambulatory monitoring devices, conducting exercise tolerance tests in collaboration with a medic or senior cardiac physiologist and supporting stress echocardiography services.
We are committed to supporting your professional development and will provide opportunities to expand your skills and knowledge within the cardiac catheter laboratory, including involvement in cardiac angiography procedures.
We actively encourage continuous professional development and support attendance at relevant training courses, helping you maintain your CPD requirements while enhancing your clinical expertise and career progression.

The Head of EPRR is responsible for leading the development and implementation of all arrangements relating to the organisation's preparedness for significant incidents and emergencies as defined in the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 (CCA). Ensure that the Trust meets its statutory obligations under the Civil Contingencies Act, 2004 (CCA) and complies with all relevant EPRR guidance for the NHS, including the NHS EPRR Framework 2022 and non-statutory guidance that accompanies the CCA and for business continuity and resilience preparedness.
Supports the Trust Accountable Emergency Officer (AEO) by providing specialist advice, coordinating EPRR assurance, maintaining an evidence base against the NHS Core Standards, and reporting compliance, risks and actions to Trust governance and the Board.
Develop and deliver the Trust's emergency preparedness and resilience function, improve standards of such preparedness across the organisation and provide leadership on specialist emergency preparedness and resilience issues.
Ensure the Trust policies and plans are aligned to the NHS Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR) Framework 2022, relevant statutory duties (including the Civil Contingencies Act 2004, NHS Act 2006 and Health and Care Act 2022), and the NHS Standard Contract.

Job summary
We are seeking a motivated, hard-working, professional, and passionate Physiologist to join our Cardio-Respiratory Department.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of our friendly, supportive team, working across both Warrington and Halton Hospital sites. Our department undertakes a wide range of respiratory investigations, and we are looking for an individual who can work independently and contribute confidently to our service.
The successful candidate will be competent in all aspects of respiratory diagnostics, including:
- Full lung function testing
- Overnight polygraphy
- CPAP initiation and follow-up
We are looking for someone with strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine enthusiasm for delivering high-quality patient care.
Main duties of the job
- To be competent in all routine investigations in the department including Spirometry +/- reversibility, respiratory muscle strength, full lung function test using nitrogen washout method and/or body box.
- Reviewing and signing off spirometry performed in community clinics and ensuring reports are sent out within deadline targets.
- To undertake fitting and analysis of limited channel sleep studies and overnight oximetry.
- Analyse and produce complex reports on limited channel and respiratory sleep studies to ARTP standards.
- To support the services as they evolve and change for the benefit of our patients.
- Provide CPAP treatment and change prescriptions as required.
- Provide administrative support as required.

Join our developing safeguarding service at an exciting time of change. Main duties of the job
The Safeguarding Specialist is responsible for providing expert safeguarding advice, support and leadership across North Cheshire and Mersey (NCM). We are recruiting Band 3 Senior Healthcare Support Workers to work across a range of inpatient wards at Warrington and Halton Hospital. As a Band 3 Senior HCSW, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care, working alongside registered nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team. Previous experience in an acute hospital setting is preferred.
Main duties of the job

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated registered nurse to join our Anticoagulation Service as an Anticoagulation Specialist Nurse. Job summary
To deliver a meal service to patients and staff, either by plated or bulk delivery system, ensuring that presentation standards are high and food safety standards are adhered too.

Main duties of the job

The Lead Chaplain is responsible for the provision and further development of the Chaplaincy Service within Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals.

The postholder will oversee a responsive multi-faith service, working closely with clinical teams and community faith leaders to support people of all faiths and beliefs, including those with no faith.
The role includes managing chaplaincy staff and volunteers, developing policies and service standards, supporting staff wellbeing, advising on matters relating to faith, belief, spirituality, and culturally sensitive care, and ensuring the service contributes effectively to patient experience, end of life care, bereavement support, and organisational wellbeing. The Lead Chaplain will also provide expert support in complex and sensitive situations, including serious illness, trauma, sudden death, and major incidents.

Job summary
The post holder will fill our vacant Foundation Year 2 training gap in the ENT department.
The work within the department will be carried out under the supervision of the senior trainees and you will report to a senior ENT Specialty Doctor or ENT consultant. The role will include the admission, documentation and day to day care of patients and attendance at Ward Rounds as part of the ENT/General Surgery On-Call Rota.
Main duties of the job
Clinical Responsibilities
To contribute to the care of inpatients and outpatients
Work with colleagues to provide a service with the highest standard of care and to always follow and maintain good working practice.
The post holder should be prepared to perform duties in occasional emergencies and unforeseen circumstances.
The post holder will be expected to be available for such irregular commitments outside normally rostered duties which are seen as essential for continuity of patient care.
Education and Training
Every opportunity will be provided to the appointee to develop special interests and skills in aspects of medical care, information technology, medical audit, etc. The post holder will maintain his/her own continuing professional development in line with current guidelines on professional responsibilities.There is a Post Graduate Medical Education Centre on both Hospital sites with library and study facilities.
