Job summary
NHUC are looking for an experienced and motivated Remote Monitoring Service Manager to lead the operational delivery of our newly established Remote Monitoring service. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in transforming patient care through digitally enabled services that support people to remain safely at home while reducing reliance on urgent and emergency care services.
As the operational lead, you will be responsible for service mobilisation, performance management, workforce leadership, stakeholder engagement, quality assurance, and continuous service improvement. You will work closely with NHUC senior leaders, system partners, subcontractor providers, and digital suppliers to ensure safe, responsive and patient-centred care.
We are seeking a dynamic leader with experience of managing healthcare services, delivering operational performance, and leading teams within NHS, urgent care, primary care, or remote monitoring environments. Strong communication, organisational and partnership-working skills are essential.
This is a full-time role based at our Farnborough head office with travel across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight as required.

Main duties of the job
The Remote Monitoring Service Manager will provide operational leadership for NHUC's Remote Monitoring service, ensuring safe, effective and patient-centred care is delivered across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. The post holder will lead service mobilisation and ongoing delivery, manage performance against key quality and contractual standards, and support continuous service improvement.
Working closely with senior leaders, clinical teams, system partners and subcontracted providers, the role will oversee workforce planning, operational performance, patient onboarding processes, stakeholder engagement, governance and reporting arrangements. The Service Manager will also support the development of digitally enabled models of care that help patients remain safely at home and reduce reliance on urgent and emergency care services.
This role requires a proactive and collaborative leader with strong operational management skills, experience of delivering healthcare services, and the ability to work effectively within a complex multi-provider environment.

About us
NHUC is a not-for-profit Community Benefit Society, working in partnership with the NHS. NHUC provides services through two divisions, Same Day Care (SDC) and TalkPlus.
SDC provides services through the Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) contract which covers the in Hours Clinical Assessment Service (CAS) and Out of Hours (OOH) provision for North Hampshire, North East Hampshire and Farnham & Surrey Heath places which are part of the Hampshire and the Isle of Wight ICB and Surrey & Sussex ICB respectively. We also provide an Urgent Treatment Centre at the front door of Frimley Park Hospital whilst also holding some smaller contacts supporting Community Hospitals OOH and Flu response. Finally, SDC has a virtual care arm supporting patients at home.
TalkPlus provide NHS Talking Therapies, supporting people with common mental health problems in Northeast Hampshire and Farnham place. TalkPlus offers a range of treatments to people who are experiencing symptoms of stress, anxiety, low mood, depression, panic, phobias or OCD. TalkPlus has care pathways to provide timely treatment for perinatal and military veteran referrals.

Role Summary:

North Hampshire Urgent Care is the lead provider of the L2 HIOW-wide L2 Remote Monitoring Service with subcontracts in place to partner organisations to provide the service operationally outside of the North and Mid Hampshire, which NHUC will personally provide.
North Hampshire Urgent Care are the sole provider of the L3 Virtual Care at Home Service covering North and Mid Hampshire.
Internally, the Service Manager will work closely with NHUC Senior Leaders, Medical Director, Clinical Director, Director of Operations, Clinical Head of Service Primary Care, Primary Care Operations Manager, Remote Monitoring Clinical Lead and Head of Clinical Governance, Quality and Patient Safety. The Service Manager will also work closely with subcontractor providers, HIOW ICB, the digital supplier and wider system partners to ensure effective patient onboarding, alert management escalation pathways, workforce planning, education and training, quality assurance, reporting and continuous improvement.
The role will be central to ensuring the success of the Remote Monitoring Service and ensuring it supports the wider NHS ambition for prevention, early intervention, care closure to home and reduced reliance on unscheduled urgent and emergency care.
The post holder will be based at NHUCs head office, located at The Meads Business Centre in Farnborough, however there will be requirement to attend other NHUC and subcontractor / partner locations across the entire HIOW footprint on an ad hoc basis.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Leadership and Service Management
- Provide visible, accessible and effective operational leadership for the Remote Monitoring Service, creating a culture where staff understand their roles, responsibilities and contribution to safe patient care.
- Operationally lead the mobilisation and implementation of the service, ensuring that operational plans, workforce requirements, training, reporting arrangements, escalation pathways and digital processes are in place ahead of go-live and refined as the service develops.
- Manage the day-to-day operational delivery of the service, ensuring that the agreed hours of operation, service model and standards are maintained across the HIOW footprint.
- Support the development and review of standard operating procedures, pathways, guidance, action plans and service improvement plans.
- Monitor subcontractor performance against agreed contractual requirements, escalating concerns appropriately and contributing to provider assurance processes.
- Represent NHUC and the Remote Monitoring Service in relevant operational, mobilisation, governance and stakeholder meetings.
Lead Provider and Partnership Working
- Support NHUC in its role as Lead Provider, ensuring effective collaboration with subcontractor providers and system partners.
- Coordinate cross-provider delivery arrangements, ensuring consistency of patient experience, escalation processes, quality assurance, reporting and shared learning in line with contractual service requirements.
- Obtain assurance that subcontracted organisations are operating and delivering the service in line with NHUC values, including their staff training and ensuring sufficient rota cover / resilience.
- Support partnership arrangements to flex resources and provide cross-cover where required to meet service demand.
Operational Delivery, Performance and KPI Management
- Monitor performance data and service activity to identify trends, risks, capacity pressures and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure robust processes are in place for responding to RED alerts within 2 hours and AMBER alerts within 6 hours, in line with the service specification and local procedures.
- Support delivery of expected alert resolution levels within the Remote Monitoring Service, escalating unresolved or complex issues appropriately.
- Prepare and present regular performance, quality and operational reports for NHUC, HIOW ICB, contract review meetings, governance meetings and internal leadership forums.
- Work with finance and senior leaders to understand service activity, resource utilisation and contract delivery requirements.
- Investigate KPI breaches and contribute to service improvement plans.
- Undertake reporting in line with national and local requirements.
- Investigation of incidents relating to the Remote Monitoring Service through our Vantage platform.
Workforce, Training and Line Management
- Provide direct line management to relevant Remote Monitoring Service staff as agreed within the service structure.
- Ensure staff receive appropriate induction, training, supervision, appraisals, 1:1s and ongoing support in line with NHUC policies and service requirements.
- Coordinate workforce planning, rota arrangements and staffing escalation plans to maintain safe and effective service delivery 8am to 8pm, 7 days per week, 365 days per year, 365 days per year.
- Promote staff wellbeing, psychological safety and an open culture where concerns, difficult cases and learning needs are discussed appropriately.
Patient Onboarding, Access and Experience
- Oversee operational processes for patient identification, invitation, consent, onboarding, training and ongoing engagement with the Remote Monitoring Service.
- Ensure onboarding processes support patients and carers to understand the purpose of the service, how to use the digital portal/app and when to seek emergency help.
- Work with partners to minimise digital exclusion, including supporting processes for equipment provision where required and agreed.
- Ensure patient and carer feedback is collected, reviewed and used to inform service improvement.
- Promote equitable access and a patient-centred, strengths-based approach to supporting older people living with frailty.
Digital Platform, Information Governance and Clinical Safety
- Act as an operational link between NHUC, subcontractors, HIOW ICB and the digital supplier to support implementation and day-to-day use of the remote monitoring dashboard, patient portal/app and reporting functionality.
- Support the development of processes for digital onboarding, dashboard monitoring, data visibility, alert categorisation, reporting and integration with CHIE or other agreed records systems.
- Ensure operational issues with the digital platform are identified, logged, escalated and resolved in collaboration with the supplier and relevant internal leads.
- Work with information governance and clinical safety leads to support compliance with UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, data sharing agreements, DPIAs and relevant NHS clinical safety standards, including DCB0160 for deployment of health IT systems.
- Ensure staff follow accurate, clear and contemporaneous documentation standards within the digital dashboard and any linked clinical records.

Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (Trainee PWP) to join our team.
Our dedicated Psychological Well-being Practitioners offer a range of psychological therapies & services to treat and support people in their recovery. TalkPlus is committed to developing staff to reach their full potential.
Depending on the amount of applications, first stage interviews may be held online on the 4th or 5th November 2026. If successful post first stage, second interviews will be held face to face in our offices in Farnborough on the 10th November 2026.

Main duties of the job
This is a training role within the NHS talking therapies service. The post-holder will work within the talking therapies service providing high volume, low intensity interventions whilst undertaking a programme of training for this role. The training post will equip the postholder to provide a range of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) based self-management interventions to clients with anxiety and depression. The post-holder will attend all taught and self-study days required by The University as specified within the National Low Intensity curriculum and work in the service for the remaining days of the week using their newly developed skills.
The post holder will work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and should be committed to equal opportunities.
This is a training role within the NHS talking therapies programme and the trainee will take an active role in the service.

SDC provides services through the Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) contract which covers the in Hours Clinical Assessment Service (CAS) and Out of Hours (OOH) provision for North Hampshire, North East Hampshire and Farnham & Surrey Heath places which are part of the Hampshire and the Isle of Wight ICB and Surrey & Sussex ICB respectively. Finally, SDC has a virtual care arm supporting patients at home.
TalkPlus provide NHS Talking Therapies, supporting people with common mental health problems in Northeast Hampshire and Farnham place. TalkPlus offers a range of treatments to people who are experiencing symptoms of stress, anxiety, low mood, depression, panic, phobias or OCD. TalkPlus has care pathways to provide timely treatment for perinatal and military veteran referrals.

Job summary
TalkPlus is recruiting a High Intensity Trainee CBT Therapist within our NHS Talking Therapies service.
This is a training role combining clinical practice with academic study. The successful candidate will undertake a BABCP-accredited Level 2 High Intensity CBT course at the University of Reading whilst working within the service to provide high intensity interventions to clients experiencing common mental health difficulties.
The role includes two days per week at university and three days per week in clinical practice, including participation in an out-of-hours clinic. The post holder will work with people from diverse backgrounds and be committed to equality, diversity and inclusion.
Successful completion of the programme will enable you to meet the training requirements to apply for BABCP accreditation as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist.
Applicants must either hold a BABCP recognised Core Profession or meet BABCP Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes (KSA) requirements. KSA applicants must have completed the required portfolio before interview.
Applicants who have previously completed NHS-funded PWP training, must meet current NHS England eligibility requirements. A minimum of two years must have elapsed since the exam board date of any previous NHS funded training. Applicants who completed PWP training in 2025 must provide their exam board date within their application. To be eligible for this intake, the exam board date must be on or before 23 February 2025.
Main duties of the job

- Assess clients referred to the NHS Talking Therapies service and determine their suitability for High Intensity CBT interventions.
- Deliver evidence-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to adults experiencing anxiety, depression and related common mental health difficulties.
- Develop, implement and review treatment plans, monitoring client progress and outcomes throughout treatment.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to service outcome measures and data collection requirements.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, supporting stepped-care pathways and appropriate referrals.
- Attend and successfully complete the University of Reading High Intensity CBT training programme, applying learning directly within clinical practice.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified High Intensity CBT therapist to join the TalkPlus team. The vacancy is for a full-time role (37.5 hours per week); however, we will also consider candidates who wish to work part time.
This is a role within an NHS Talking Therapies service providing high intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) interventions to clients with a range of problems for which CBT is demonstrated to be clinically effective. The post-holder will work within a blended model of face-to-face and remote working. TalkPlus is a high achieving NHS Talking Therapies service and a well-established Long-Term Conditions (LTC) service. We are fortunate to work alongside a team of counsellors, psychologists, and employment advisors.This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic and compassionate Therapist to work within an established service, where there are opportunities for team working and continued professional development. Main duties of the job
As a High Intensity Therapist within NHS Talking Therapies, you will deliver high-quality CBT interventions to adults with common mental health difficulties, including anxiety and depression. You will undertake assessments, formulate and implement treatment plans, manage a varied caseload, and work autonomously while maintaining strong links with primary care and wider healthcare services. You will play an active role in supporting service development, clinical supervision, audit, and quality improvement, helping to ensure the delivery of safe, effective and patient-centred care.

SDC provides services through the Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) contract which covers the in Hours Clinical Assessment Service (CAS) and Out of Hours (OOH) provision for North Hampshire, North East Hampshire and Farnham & Surrey Heath places which are part of the Hampshire and the Isle of Wight ICB and Surrey & Sussex ICB respectively. We also provide an Urgent Treatment Centre at the front door of Frimley Park Hospital whilst also holding some smaller contacts supporting Community Hospitals OOH and Flu response. Finally, SDC has a virtual care arm supporting patients at home.
TalkPlus provide NHS Talking Therapies, supporting people with common mental health problems in Northeast Hampshire and Farnham place. TalkPlus offers a range of treatments to people who are experiencing symptoms of stress, anxiety, low mood, depression, panic, phobias or OCD. TalkPlus has care pathways to provide timely treatment for perinatal and military veteran referrals.

Job summary
North Hampshire Urgent Care (NHUC) is seeking an accomplished General Practitioner (GP) to provide senior clinical leadership for its co-located Urgent Treatment Centre at Frimley Park Hospital. This is a high-impact appointment for a credible, visible leader who can combine current frontline clinical practice with strategic oversight, rigorous assurance and system partnership.
Responsible to the Medical Director and accountable to the Chief Executive, you will set the clinical direction for the UTC, provide clear, evidence-based assurance and constructive challenge to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and relevant governance forums, and translate strategic priorities into measurable improvements in patient care.
Hours: 15 hours per week for leadership and management, deployed flexibly in line with changing service and organisational priorities. Regular clinical sessions within the UTC are also required; the level and pattern will be agreed with the Medical Director before the contract is finalised.

Role Summary:
The Assistant Operations Manager will provide operational leadership support to the Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) service, ensuring the effective day-to-day coordination of service delivery, workforce coordination, governance processes, performance monitoring and quality improvement activities.
The post holder will work closely with clinical and operational teams to support delivery of safe, effective and responsive patient care. They will contribute to service performance, support workforce management, coordinate governance activities, deputise for the Operations Manager as required and assist in implementing service developments and operational improvement initiatives.
This is a substantive operational management role that plays a key part in supporting service delivery and performance. The post also provides opportunities to further develop leadership and operational management skills within a dynamic urgent care environment.
