We have an opportunity for the right enthusiastic and driven person to join our team of Site Senior Managers at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust in a permanent position. This is a highly visible role working on site across a range of shifts to cover the site management 24/7.
We are looking for someone who has significant experience of senior clinical leadership and operational management either as a registered nurse or registered allied health professional. You will be passionate and committed to both patients and colleagues. We will support you to drive excellent clinical standards of care through our patient pathways, promote a culture of patient and staff safety and support continuous improvement in the service we provide.

Main duties of the job
The Site Senior Manager has a day to day operational role in providing Trust wide leadership and responsibility for the safe management of patient flow and capacity across the Trust. The post holder will work to ensure a safe and seamless patient journey, to enable the Trust to meet key strategic and operational objectives.
This is a highly visible role where you will have day to day operational responsibility for ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of capacity management and site management supporting the delivery of local and national standards. You will on occasion be expected to represent the trust on issues related to the implementation of the mental health act in order to facilitate and ensure safe care and outcomes for this group of patients.

Job summary
This post is to join part of the Maintenance Team of North West Anglia Foundation Trust who provides maintenance services, both planned and reactive, for the properties belonging to the Hospital
The post holder is expected to provide basic repair and maintenance services for Mechanical, Electrical and Building maintenance systems and installations in all buildings occupied and operated by the Hospital
The post holder will carry out necessary maintenance tasks to ensure the safe and continuous operation of the engineering services and the building plant located in the Trust.
The post holder will undertake specific maintenance tasks and will carry out maintenance and repairs across a wide range of interconnected highly complex plant and equipment, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor/Estates Manager.
The post holder will be working to established engineering procedures, good practice, organisational and broad occupation policies. Often working to measured standards and procedures which require specific training; in first line response situations the post holder will need to establish how such policies can be implemented.
Main duties of the job
- To undertake planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and minor installation works within a safe environment and to a high quality across a range of mechanical and electrical engineering plant, equipment and building fabric systems.
- To provide a multi-trade maintenance service supporting electrical, mechanical and fabric disciplines across the Trust estate.
- To carry out routine inspections, fault finding, basic testing, repairs and maintenance activities in accordance with departmental procedures, safe systems of work and relevant Health Technical Memoranda (HTMs).
- To assist skilled craftsperson's, supervisors and specialist contractors with maintenance, repair and improvement works.
- To support Water Safety compliance activities including outlet flushing, temperature monitoring, TMV maintenance, shower maintenance and associated record keeping.
- To maintain plant rooms, workshops, equipment and work areas in a clean, safe and orderly condition.
- To be expected to work within the trusts agenda for change core hours of 06:00 to 20:00 to assist in completing tasks outside of the traditional 08:00 to 16:30 working pattern. This will include participating in the monthly generator tests, quarterly critical AHU cleans and other critical tests that predominantly are carried out from 06:00 hours.
- To work flexibly across Trust sites and participate in altered working patterns where service needs require.

Job summary
We are looking for applications from HR Professionals to join our team on a Part Time (30 hours). You will be able to confidently provide expert support and guidance to employee relations processes within the Trust, supporting managers, staff and colleagues to deliver timely, just and compliant resolutions of cases. We work within a restorative, just and learning culture, across all our HR practices and processes. We are innovative and embrace change and are in the process of introducing an HR solution called EVA to improve the service we provide to stakeholders and colleagues within the Trust. We are looking for a candidate who has experience of working within a unionised, high-volume environment managing a complex ER caseload. This role is working in between all sites including Peterborough City Hospital with the requirement to travel to our sites including Hinchingbrooke Hospital and Stamford Hospital. We operate a hybrid working arrangement and provide cover on all sites on a rotational basis.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for a candidate who will provide professional HR advice and guidance to stakeholders on a wide range of employee relations issues, supporting managers to manage issues fairly, consistently and in line with Trust policy and employment legislation. Rotational Clinical/Rotational Specialist Pharmacist - Hinchingbrooke & Peterborough
Are you looking for the next step in your pharmacy career? We have an opportunity to join our rotational pharmacist team on our band 6 and band 7 pathway. Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist with an interest in Cardio Respiratory and Surgery? We are looking for a dynamic Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist to work as part of the Critical Care and Surgery Therapy Team across these specialties, including amputee rehab, long term respiratory and cardiac conditions, hence requiring a broad set of transferrable advanced skills as well as a desire to take the MDT on an exciting journey of discovery in the role of Occupational Therapy within this field.
The successful candidate would work in conjunction with the Band 7 physiotherapists within the team supporting staff and service development, utilising local and national drivers and reporting to the lead Therapist.
Healthcare is a 7 day service and therefore the expectation will be for you to support weekend working.
Interviews for this role will be conducted in person to assess relevant skills effectively.
Main duties of the job
The role involves;
- Networking with Clinical specialists within other fields and throughout the NWA Trust to streamline and progress services.
- To work closely with the wider MDT on Critical Care to develop OT service provision in Critical Care, including early rehab, orientation and functional rehab.
- Assisting the MDT, including therapists with the rehabilitation, discharge planning or onward referrals of complex patients on the wards.
- Taking an active role in and support the skill development of staff working on our wards, including junior OT staff and Degree Apprentices

Main duties of the job
To produce high quality diagnostic images and provide high quality patient care to the service users adhering to national guidelines and taking into account relevant legislation including, but not limited to, the Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations (IR(ME)R) 2018 and the Ionising Radiation Regulations 2017 (IRR17).
The post holder will participate in all areas of the clinical rota to include dental, theatre, accident and emergency, orthopaedics, endoscopy, mobile procedures, paediatrics, CT and fluoroscopy and work independently when required. There will be a requirement to work outside of normal working hours, where you will be working unsupervised in a multi disciplinary role as part of the decision process in patient management (A&E red dot).

Gynaecology Outpatients Department (LILY) is a small friendly unit, where women attend clinic for reviews as well as minor procedures. This post would suite someone with an interest in working in the caring profession but specialising in women's health. The Unit currently works Monday-Friday 0800-1800 and the successful applicant would be expected to work their hours across the month to support the service.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for someone who is an excellent organiser, great communicator, sensitive, non-judgemental and able to promote a welcoming approach to patients, relatives and visitors, who can work using their own initiative, often under pressure. Excellent analytical and judgement skills are essential in this role as is good working knowledge of medical terminology and human anatomy across a range of clinical specialties. You will be responsible for managing your own workload each day within the usual deadlines for submission of data.
We would welcome applications from experienced clinical coders (Band 4) without the IHRIM qualification with the option to study towards the National Clinical Coding Qualification.
Main duties of the job
Excellent analytical and judgement skills are essential as is a good working knowledge of national clinical coding standards, medical terminology and human anatomy.
Translation of clinical information into diagnostic and procedure codes from patient health records scanned on to an electronic document management system and variety of other electronic sources.

Main duties of the job
The job plan is anticipated to contain 10 programmed activities with an approximate split of 8.5 direct clinical care programmed activities (CPA) of Diabetes and Endocrinology and General Internal Medicine and 1.5 PA's for supporting professional activity (SPA). However, we are willing to accommodate any different number of PAs as the service permits.
Alongside colleagues, you will provide specialist led inpatient and outpatient Diabetes & Endocrine services. This includes ward referrals and supporting the team of trained DSNs.
Your prime clinical responsibility will be accountability for the continuous care of in-patients and outpatients, and as part of this responsibility, a share of the out-of-hours general medical on -call rota arrangements at the Trust.
You will work as an integral part of the Multidisciplinary Trust wide Diabetes network and attend Clinical Governance and Multidisciplinary Team meetings at multiple Trust and external provider sites.
Appropriate standards of care for patients must be a priority as well as appropriate standards of education and training for medical staff in training. Therefore, you will contribute to the teaching of medical students, trainee advanced care practitioners, specialist nurses and participate in weekly postgraduate meetings as well as audit, governance, morbidity and mortality and training meetings.

Main duties of the job

Job summary
We are looking for applications from HR Professionals to join our team on a fixed term contract or secondment for 26.5 hours per week. You will be able to confidently provide expert support and guidance to employee relations processes within the Trust, supporting managers, staff and colleagues to deliver timely, just and compliant resolutions of cases. We are looking for Consultants with a passion for Frailty. The post offers a new challenge with the ability to be involved in designing an integrated Frailty Service, bridging community and secondary care. The Frailty team is a large multi-disciplinary team based in the Frailty Assessment Unit on ward C-16 with in reach into the Emergency Department The team comprises of 1.7 frailty consultants, 1 registrar, 2 lead nurses, 5 clinical nurse specialists and 3 Physicians Associates. The service provides diagnosis, treatment, and facilitates early discharge of frail patients and provides interface with frailty virtual ward (established in November 2022).
We have close links with the Integrated Care Board for Cambridge and Peterborough and are there are plans to work with community partners to develop a Community Falls Hub and other community pathways.

Main duties of the job

Job summary
The postholder will lead the pre-registration midwifery portfolio, providing professional and educational leadership for student midwives across maternity services. They will work collaboratively with students, clinical teams, Practice Supervisors, Practice Assessors and Higher Education Institutions to ensure safe, supportive and effective clinical learning environments.
Responsibilities include coordinating student placements, induction and learning opportunities; supporting students with learning, progression or wellbeing needs; and ensuring appropriate support and action plans are in place where concerns arise. The postholder will lead implementation of the NMC Standards for Student Supervision and Assessment (SSSA), including preparation and ongoing development of Practice Supervisors and Practice Assessors, and maintain oversight of SSSA compliance and capacity.
They will monitor placement quality, capacity and student experience, using feedback, audit and learning to support continuous improvement. The postholder will represent maternity at relevant education and HEI meetings, maintain awareness of national maternity and education priorities, and ensure these inform student learning. They will maintain a visible clinical presence and work closely with maternity education, governance and leadership teams.
Main duties of the job
The Clinical Educator - Pre-registration Midwifery is responsible for leading and supporting the clinical learning environment for pre-registration student midwives across maternity services.
The postholder will work closely with students, Practice Supervisors, Practice Assessors, clinical teams and Higher Education Institutions to ensure that placements are safe, supportive, inclusive and provide appropriate learning opportunities. The role includes supporting students with learning, progression or wellbeing needs, maintaining oversight of placement quality and capacity, and using student and supervisor feedback to support improvement.
The postholder will also support implementation of the NMC Standards for Student Supervision and Assessment, including the preparation and ongoing development of Practice Supervisors and Practice Assessors, and will maintain oversight of SSSA compliance within maternity.
The role will maintain a visible clinical presence and provide a link between education, clinical practice, governance and quality improvement.
