Main duties of the job

Job summary
We are recruiting for a Recovery worker to work within our integrated Substance Misuse Service in HMP Peterborough to deliver a comprehensive range of needs-based health care services to patients with substance misuse issues. The post holder will provide psychosocial intervention in individual or group-based settings to support prisoners with current and/or a history of substance misuse, using Trauma Informed principles to aide recovery of the patients.
Please note this post is subject to security vetting. Main duties of the job
The Substance Misuse Team is part of the integrated Healthcare provision at HMP Peterborough. The team consists of Integrated Substance Mis-use Nurse, HCA and Substance Misuse Workers (Recovery). The team works closely with the Secondary Mental Health team and Healthcare Services to provide a Trauma Informed Well Being Service for residents.
The Substance misuse service (ISMS) maintains strong links to the local community with a focus on resettlement. We aim to deliver quality of life services and support people to change their lives for the better. Opportunities for learning and developing work-ready skills are on offer for all who come in-to custody, but our commitment to reducing reoffending in local communities does not end at the prison gate. We support people released from custody through innovative partnerships in substance misuse services working with people to maintain recovery and lead law-abiding lives.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team at HMP Nottingham. This is a unique opportunity to work in a secure environment, delivering high-quality medicines management services to a diverse resident population.

The Community Childrens Nurses provide care to Children with Long Term and Life Limiting Conditions from birth to 18 years of age. We are looking for an individual to work across our Long Term Conditions Team and Home Respite Team. Job summary
For this role you will have an expert knowledge of dietary management of paediatric diabetes, an up to date knowledge of insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitoring and be able to advise on safe carbohydrate adjustment. You will be the clinical lead dietitian for paediatric diabetes at Northampton General Hospital and work as an autonomous advanced practitioner but understand your role within the paediatric diabetes team and wider teams. You will have specialist dietetic assessment skills and will be able to create dietetic interventions linked into wider MDT care plans. You will be actively involved in developing care pathways. You will have advanced communication skills, the ability to use age appropriate language, be flexible in your approach to create helpful relationships to meet the needs of children and family/carers and ensure the child's voice is heard.
You will provide a responsive service to newly diagnosed children when an inpatient, provide timely follow up at home, liaise with family members and education providers and provide outpatient services. These children can have a range of complex social and psychological issues as well as a range of comorbidities.
Main duties of the job
o Providing dietetic assessment, advice, treatment and counselling to support behavioural change in children and young people who have a diagnosis of type 1 or 2 diabetes. This will be delivered through one-to-one consultations, group sessions, MDT clinics, home visits and school training. The majority of this work will be face to face
o Providing expert advice to meet the need of individual children/families to promote healthy lifestyle choices and facilitate the attainment and maintenance of optimal medical outcomes. Main duties of the job
The post holder will demonstrate a commitment to clinical excellence and an ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Consultant Psychiatrist - Male Adult Inpatients , based at St Mary's Hospital in Kettering, Northamptonshire
Avocet ward is a 16 bedded male only inpatient ward and this post will require assessment and management of a wide range of psychiatric presentations.
RC/AC status and section 12 required for this role.
We are offering a £40,000 welcome bonus to the successful candidate, paid over the course of your first two years in post.
Main duties of the job
The ward takes direct new admissions of a range of presentations. You will be supported in this role by range of junior doctors ( FY2 and GPVTS) and it is expected you will have regular dialogue with the two consultant psychiatrists on other two adult inpatient wards onsite. The Welland centre is a modern stand alone 4 ward psychiatric inpatient unit and is staffed by a MDT including nursing staff, occupational therapists and psychologists. Cross cover will be provided by both inpatient and outpatient consultant colleagues on a rotational basis as is the system currently.

About the role:
NHFT are currently looking to appoint a General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist to our inpatient service.
About you:

Being able to work independently as well as part of an MDT is essential and it is important that the successful candidate is able to foster positive working relationship across services and motivate their peers.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will demonstrate a commitment to clinical excellence and an ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. This role is designed to support individuals to recognise and better equip them to meet the challenges of achieving and maintaining paid employment as a fundamental and integral part of their desired recovery journey.
Main duties of the job
The service is individually tailored to the person's needs and requirements. The overall aim of the service is to get the person into paid employment that is of interest to them and that will aid their mental health recovery. Following evidenced-based Individual Placement and Support (IPS) principles, key duties will include:
Raising the profile of employment as an essential part of the recovery journey within the mental health teams
Raising expectations around the ability of service users under those teams to find employment.
Preparing people who have experienced mental health conditions to find paid work and supporting them to the practicalities of job searching and applications
Engaging with and building effective working relationships with a range of employers to secure job opportunities for people who have experienced mental health conditions.
Providing on-going in work support according to needs of both employer and employee in order to enable people to retain employment.
Helping those currently employed who may require support to retain employment due to their mental health condition.

Job summary
The postholder will undertake a structured programme of academic study and supervised clinical practice to develop the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to deliver evidence-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy interventions. Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity to recruit an Operational Manager to lead the Northampton Rural Communty Mental Health Team (CMHT) based in Daventry, Northamptonshire.
The Operational Manager is responsible for the day to day operational management and leadership of the CMHT. As community mental health services continue to transform, this is a key role which requires the post holder to embrace and lead change positively to shape the future of the service.
The Operational Manager will work as part of a triumvirate leadership structure alongside B7 Clinical Leads / Specialist Nurses to lead the CMHT, reporting to a B8a locality Service Manager. The Operational Manager will deputise in the absence of the Service Manager and will participate in the Mental Health Manager-on-Call roster.
The Operational Manager is responsible for managing resources to provide quality mental health care to a defined population. It is essential to be able to develop partnership working, relationship management and integration with Voluntary Community and Social Enterprises, social care, primary care and other NHFT teams, to ensure that service users and carers can access timely care and have a seamless journey through services.
The Operational Manager will provide, receive and lead on complex, sensitive, or contentious information where complex skills are needed for operational and clinical situations.
Main duties of the job
- The Operational Manager is responsible for the safety, welfare and line management of the staff working in their team, ensuring safe patient care and clinical performance. Team compliance with supervisions and appraisals is paramount. Responsibilities include sickness management, performance monitoring, staff wellbeing, coaching, mentoring and resolving conflict; facilitating team processes that adhere to Human Resources functions where appropriate.
- Duties involve using a range of systems including Healthroster, Electronic Staff Record (ESR), Agresso, SystmOne, incident reporting/risk register, SMART, monthly clinical audit and mandatory training reports to ensure the achievement of key performance indicators. Expected results are defined, but the post holder has the autonomy to decide how these are achieved.
- The Operational Manager is responsible for chairing Business Meetings, staff training days and dissemination of information from the Senior Management Team.
- The Operational Manager is responsible for oversight of PALS, complaints and compliments for their team, and will work proactively with service users and carers to resolve and learn from concerns raised.
- The Operational Manager will work alongside the Clinical Lead to ensure adherence to local and national safeguarding procedures and the developing, implementation and embedding of national / local policy.

Job summary
The Community Childrens Nurses provide care to Children with Long Term and Life Limiting Conditions from birth to 18 years of age. We are looking for an individual to work across our Long Term Conditions Team and Home Respite Team. The Home Respite Team is a county wide service consisting of healthcare support workers who provide short sessional support for children with on-going health needs within their own home and community settings. The Care Support Workers work closely with the trained staff to meet the needs of the children and their families and provide family Centered Holistic Care. When not delivering respite the post holders will be running small clinics for children requiring overnight saturations recordings, managing the essential equipment and supplies used by the nursing teams and families and supporting the trained nurses in meeting the needs of the children. The post holder will be lone working and must have access to a vehicle for work use.
We want to recruit forward thinking, dynamic members of staff into this permanent position. The post holder will be part of a small established service, working with colleagues who present with enthusiasm for innovative and high standards of practice. They will be able to work autonomously and under direct supervision.

This will include offering short-term counselling to individual staff around a concern which is impacting them at work. It may also involve facilitating group sessions for staff related to psychological wellbeing as well as presenting about the service and providing training sessions relevant to staff wellbeing.
The post will be line managed by one of the Joint Service Leads. Regular clinical supervision will be provided by either a Senior or Principal Psychologist within the service. We also hold regular reflective practice sessions within the team and encourage engagement with a Community of Practice for counsellors working in NHS settings.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will be expected to:
Deliver short term counselling interventions to NHS staff for a range of presenting issues
Contribute to the development and delivery of psychologically informed groups to promote staff wellbeing
Provide initial assessment of clients presenting with multiple and complex issues; select appropriate therapeutic interventions, make decisions regarding referrals to specialist services and facilitate these as needed.
Undertake safety assessments/formulations and development of safety plans for individual clients.
Manage safeguarding concerns and share information to ensure safeguarding in accordance with local and national policy.
Deliver service presentations, teaching/training sessions according to service need
Contribute to service evaluation, audit and research
Attend and contribute to team meetings
Contribute to service development, identify areas for improvement and propose changes to service delivery and working practices.
