Do you want to work in a primary care setting and help improve access to support for people with mental health issues?
As part of our services across Oxfordshire, we are implementing Keystone Mental Health & Wellbeing Hubs to support GP practices with Mental Health assessment and support for patients in their communities.
We have created this exciting post within the Keystone Abingdon MH & Wellbeing Hub (KMHT).
We are looking for a part-time MH integrated hub clinician who is experienced in delivering evidence-based interventions in a community setting, with a passion for partnership approaches to care for adults living with serious mental illness.
This role needs someone who is innovative and who wants to help achieve our vision for cross-sector integrated pathways, removing existing barriers, to deliver better access to dedicated mental health support in local, non-stigmatised community settings.
Main duties of the job
- Supporting the Clinical Lead in the development and implementation of the service and your role within it.
- Supervision and leadership for appropriate staff identified
- Screen, triage, assess and coordinate referrals
- Provide brief support and time limited evidence-based interventions,
- Support patients ready to transition to primary care and develop care plans and prepare people for step down.
- Map community resources and assets that are available for those with SMI within the specific PCN geography.
- To support collaborative working between the full range of physical health and mental health services

Are you a recently qualified OT looking to develop your skills and experience across a wide range of physical and mental health settings?We are looking for OT's to join our established and sought after Band 5 Occupational Therapy rotation.
Our rotation offers a unique opportunity to work in a mix of clinical areas across physical health, mental health and various specialist services. The rotation currently includes:
- Adult Mental Health (inpatient)
- Adult Learning Disability (community)
- Forensic Mental Health (inpatient)
- Stroke Rehabilitation (inpatient)

The rotation is focused in and around the city of Oxford, with some rotations based in the community hospitals to the south of the county. Each rotation is for a period of 8 months (subject to change).
This role will require you to travel countywide across the Trusts sites on a regular basis. You must therefore be comfortable with driving for work purposes and able to travel freely within the hours of the role. Main duties of the job
- To provide Occupational Therapy that is evidence based and follows client-centred principles. This will include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the outcome of interventions, documenting all stages of the process.

This advert is recruiting for a Peer Support Worker (PSW) within the Oxford Health Buckinghamshire Individual Placement & Support Service (IPS). Peer Support Workersare people who have their own lived experience of mental health challenges or have supported/cared for someone with mental health challenges. They use empathy informed by their own experiences to support service users/families who are accessing mental health services. Peer Support Workers model the recovery principles together with personal responsibility, self-awareness and self-care whilst undertaking the duties of the role. The IPS service knows that being in employment can positively impact a person's recovery and wellbeing. The Individual Placement & Support service supports people receiving care from Oxford Health mental health teams who are unemployed and motivated to find paid employment, or whose current employment is at risk. This is a brilliant opportunity for interested GPs to be part of a new team and way of working, that is both innovative and integrated. As a Community Urgent Care (CUC) GP, working for the people of Oxfordshire, your role will be varied, interesting, and ultimately rewarding. Our Primary, Community and Dental Care Directorate comprises of several services which provide same day, acute and urgent care to patients, close to, or where possible, in their own home as a safe alternative to secondary care.
Your priority will be to help support and deliver our CUC services, which operate 7 days a week, 8am till 8pm, working at one or more of our community same day emergency care units (cSDEC), taking a hands-on role to provide acutely unwell patients with further assessment and treatment as an alternative to secondary care. There are also opportunities to learn,teachand engage in personal development activities.
This is a substantive role and full time/part-time hours are available - flexible hours can be considered that fit with the service model. Shifts are between 9 and 12 hours (including unpaid breaks) arranged Monday-Friday.
Main duties of the job
- Provide high quality clinical care and assessments
- In accordance with the agreed job plan, undertake a variety of duties which may include community Same Day Emergency Care (cSDEC) consultations, same day home visits and telephone consultations
- Deliver personalised, evidence informed medical assessments and care plans to all patients you interface with in the pathway, in person or remotely
- Provide advice and timely medical reviews and interventions as part of the inter-disciplinary model of care
- Support and actively manage admission avoidance to acute hospitals and keeping patients closer or in their own home
- Adhere to local prescribing guidelines

Main duties of the job
You will play a crucial role in improving mental health outcomes for our service users. You will liaise with other agencies to ensure that the needs and rights of people with lived experience of mental health are at the front and centre of services and interventions.
You will use your advanced relationship skills to work with people to make positive and self-directed change and support them to work towards recovery as defined by them. You will provide advocacy support and understand the important role of carers, working in partnership to support them especially at time of crisis.
Providing statutory social care assessments under the Care Act and s.117 after-care Mental Health Act is a key feature of the role and you will provide a strengths based, rights focused assessment to identify and meet need, ensuring timely review of packages of support.
Working with complexity and risk is a key feature of the role and you will use your safeguarding adults knowledge to identify abuse and neglect and work with the person and other agencies to seek ways in which to protect and safeguard the person. At times, you will need to use legislative frameworks such as the Mental Capacity Act and Mental Health Act to support people who are unable to make decisions for themselves, balancing and protecting the rights of people and others.

We are looking for a part time Senior Psychotherapist/Group Analyst to join our newly formed integrated Northeast Adult Mental Health Team, part of the North and West Oxfordshire Adult Mental Health Locality.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a new team and help shape the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care. As part of our integrated multidisciplinary service, you will also have opportunities to work closely with psychiatrists, social workers, community psychiatric nurses, and other mental health professionals, supporting joined-up care for the people and communities we serve.
Main duties of the job
- Work as part of the locality psychological therapies team within the Adult Mental Health Team, seeing patients individually and in groups, providing formal psychological treatment and/or management of a client's mental health problems.
- Be responsible for the assessment, treatment, and discharge of patients whose problems are managed by psychologically based standard care plans.
- Evaluate and make decisions about treatment options considering both theoretical and therapeutic models and complex factors concerning the patients mental health difficulties.

Working with the Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Locality Lead, you will help deliver high-quality psychological therapy care and support service development, with a particular focus on the Northeast AMHT.
As a key member of the team, you will support psychological therapy colleagues and work within the friendly, supportive adult mental health team in Northeast Oxfordshire. We offer CPD and training for career progression, have excellent links with the Oxford Centre for Psychological Health that includes Oxford Centre for Cognitive Therapy and Oxford Institute for Clinical Psychology Training, which is hosted by the Trust.

Main duties of the job
The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- To provide specialist psychological assessments of referred clients based upon the appropriate use, interpretation and integration of complex data from a variety of sources including psychological and neuropsychological tests, self-report measures, rating scales, direct and indirect structured observations and semi-structured interviews with clients, family members and others involved in the client's care.

The Early Interventions Service provides care and treatment to 14 - 65 year olds who have experienced a first episode of psychosis. This role will require you to travel between community locations across Buckinghamshire.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for someone who works well in a team, but also has the ability to work independently using their own initiative. You will have an interest in psychosis and be able to manage a caseload. We are also looking for an individual with an interest in family work with a view to training to deliver Behavioural Family Therapy.

A Children's Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP) is a highly specialist role in a CAMHS team. The role is pivotal to enhancing accessibility to CAMHS by delivering low-intensity psychological interventions for mild to moderate low mood and anxiety disorders. The national Children and Young People's Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP) programme was developed following recommendations made in 'Implementing the Five Year Forward View for Mental Health' plan, to provide evidence-based interventions for children and young people.

The Patient Advice and Liaison Service Officer is required to provide easily accessible customer services to the local community working closely with the Complaints & PALS Manager and PALS Service Lead.

The Abingdon Emergency Multidisciplinary Unit (Abingdon EMU) provides Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) to patients in the community.
