The East Berkshire Primary Care Provider Collaborative (EBPCPC) is looking for an organised, proactive and professional Administrative Assistant to support the successful operation of a new Collaborative for Primary Care across East Berkshire.

Main duties of the job
This is an excellent opportunity to join the Collaborative at the start of its journey and play a central role in supporting its governance, communication and day-to-day organisation.
- Coordinate meetings, workshops and engagement events.
- Prepare agendas, papers, minutes and action logs.
- Maintain accurate governance and programme records.
- Support communications with practices, PCNs and partners.
- Provide high-quality administrative support to the Board, Executive Group and workstreams.
Key Deliverables

Job Purpose
The Administrative Assistant will provide dedicated administrative, secretarial, meeting coordination and programme support to enable the East Berkshire Primary Care Provider Collaborative to deliver its agreed strategic priorities, ICB MoU commitments, Board decisions, reporting requirements and work programme.
The postholder will work closely with the Programme Senior Lead, EBPCPC Board members, Provider Leads, PCNs, practices, federations, wider primary care providers, the Host Organisation and NHS Thames Valley ICB to ensure the Collaborative operates with clear communication, transparent administration and well-maintained governance records.
The role will support the establishment and maintenance of robust governance, coordinate meetings and administrative processes, support approved workstreams, maintain action logs and records, and help ensure information is organised, auditable and escalated appropriately.
Key relationships for this post will include East Berkshire general practices and PCNs, federations and wider primary care providers, East Berkshire Primary Care OOHs Ltd as Host Organisation, East Berkshire community pharmacy, optometry and dental leadership, NHS Thames Valley ICB, East Berkshire neighbourhood partners and wider provider partners.
Accountability and Operating Model
- EBPCPC retains accountability for strategic direction, priorities, delivery of agreed objectives, outcomes, measures, reporting requirements and commitments.
- East Berkshire Primary Care OOHs Ltd acts as Host Organisation and employing body, providing agreed employment, HR, finance, governance administration and enabling support within approved limits.
- The postholder will work within the authority agreed by the EBPCPC Board and delegated through the Programme Senior Lead, ensuring actions, records, papers and administrative processes support agreed governance routes.
- The postholder will not commit EBPCPC, EBPC or member organisations to contracts, expenditure, workforce changes or material liabilities unless these have been approved through the relevant governance process.
Employment, Policies and Mandatory Requirements

KeyResponsibilities
- Provide administrative, secretarial and coordination support to EBPCPC, the Programme Senior Lead, the Board and agreed workstreams.
- Manage meeting arrangements, agendas, papers, minutes, action logs and follow-up processes for the Board, Executive Group, workstreams and workshops.
- Maintain clear governance records, including action logs, decision logs, delegation records, risk registers, conflicts of interest records and distribution lists.
- Support preparation and collation of Board and Executive Group papers, progress reports, dashboards and assurance information.

The Palliative Care Clinical Nurse Educator will provide expert clinical leadership, education and practice development to improve the quality, consistency and experience of palliative and end-of-life care across hospital and community settings.

We are seeking an experienced and credible Senior Clinical Lead for Section 117 Aftercare (Band 8b) to provide expert clinical leadership across the commissioning, delivery and quality assurance of Section 117 services. The postholder will work collaboratively with mental health providers, local authorities and wider system partners to ensure statutory responsibilities are met and that individuals leaving hospital receive high-quality, person-centred and recovery-focused support. Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for leading the co-ordination of assessments and decision making and quality assurance for people who are entitled to Section 117 aftercare funding. They will bring a collaborative and partnership approach to this work as we develop our relationships with our partners to ensure that S117 is applied correctly, that people receiving this funding source are regularly reviewed and that our whole approach is based around the principles of hope and recovery.
The post holder will need to demonstrate sound clinical judgement, a good understanding of the regulations in relation to the mental health act, will be a team player, have excellent networking skills and thrives on developing a partnership approach

We're looking for an experienced, creative and highly motivated Communications and Engagement Manager to lead communications and engagement for our Community Health Services, Dentistry and Primary Care Directorate alongside our health and care partners and local communities.
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead communications and engagement across some of the Trust's most exciting programmes. Working with senior leaders, clinicians, communities and partners across the health and care system, you'll help bring change to life, build trusted relationships and ensure local voices are at the heart of service improvement.
No two days will be the same. One day you could be supporting a major neighbourhood health programme, the next engaging with community groups, developing compelling content or working alongside partners to tackle health inequalities.

This is a 6 month fixed term contract to support engagement across this directorate and funding is in place until the end of March 2027.

Main duties of the job
Lead strategic communications and engagement for major transformation and service improvement programmes across the Directorate, including neighbourhood health and care initiatives. Build trusted relationships with patients, carers, communities, VCFSE organisations and system partners, ensuring meaningful involvement of seldom-heard groups and those experiencing health inequalities. Work closely with leaders, partners and patient experience teams to strengthen co-production and lived-experience involvement.
Provide expert advice to senior leaders and programme teams on communications, engagement, stakeholder management, change and reputation. Develop and deliver integrated communications plans across digital, social media, print, events and stakeholder channels, tailored to different audiences.
Coordinate activity with Trust and partner communications teams to ensure consistent messaging and effective reputation management. Produce toolkits, briefings, engagement resources and promotional materials, and support the delivery of events, workshops and stakeholder meetings.
Manage multiple priorities and projects, identifying risks, resolving issues and adapting plans to meet changing needs. Oversee relationships with external organisations and suppliers, including budget and administrative processes. Monitor and evaluate communications and engagement activity, using insight to demonstrate impact and drive continuous improvement.
