Job summary
We are looking for an experienced and motivated leader to join our Waltham Forest 0-19 Service for 12 months. This could be an excellent secondment opportunity for someone ready to take the next step in their leadership career.
This is a key leadership role supporting the operational delivery of Health Visiting and School Nursing services across the borough. The successful candidate will bring substantial experience of leading children's public health services, managing large teams, delivering service improvement and driving performance against national and local priorities.
Applicants must demonstrate a strong understanding of the Healthy Child Programme, safeguarding responsibilities, Health Visiting and School Nursing national agendas, workforce management, quality assurance and service transformation. This is a role for an established leader who can quickly build credibility, provide operational oversight and contribute to the strategic development of the service from day one.
Waltham Forest is an exciting place to work. We deliver Universal and Early Intervention services through Health Visiting, School Nursing and Family Nurse Partnership teams, working closely with Family Hubs, Early Help, Early Education and wider partner agencies to improve outcomes for children, young people and families.

Main duties of the job
- Provide operational leadership and management across the Waltham Forest 0-19 Service, including Health Visiting and School Nursing.
- Provide visible clinical and professional leadership, supporting staff to deliver safe, effective and high-quality services for children, young people and families.
- Lead the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme, ensuring services are responsive to local population needs and national priorities.
- Support the strategic development of the service in line with national policy, public health priorities, commissioning intentions and local health needs.
- Lead service transformation, redesign and mobilisation projects, ensuring delivery of commissioned outcomes and contractual requirements.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic Clinical Pharmacist, to be part of a team working in primary care across the Isle of Dogs in Tower Hamlets.

As a Clinical Pharmacist you will be responsible for working with and assisting practice teams in providing and supporting high quality clinical care for acute and chronic problems. Implementing effective medicine management; identifying areas for improvement and initiating and managing change.
This is a 30-hour, permanent position for someone with a Pharmacy degree and minimum 5 years post -qualification experience. The successful candidate must be willing to enrol on the CPPE Primary Care Pharmacy Education Pathway or submit evidence of exemption though past training and experience.

Job summary
The Same Day Access Hub Coordinator will be a key point of contact for patients and practice teams and will provide high-quality reception, administrative and coordination support across both Primary Care Networks. The postholder will help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the service and contribute to providing patients with a positive experience from their first point of contact. The postholder will be expected to work across practice sites within PCN 5 and PCN 6.

Main duties of the job
Working closely with GPs, practice teams and other healthcare professionals, the postholder will support a range of activities, including:
- Supporting patients to access appropriate same-day services, advice and information.
- Supporting patient navigation and the administrative elements of the triage process, in line with agreed protocols.
- Booking patients into appropriate practice and NHS 111 appointment slots.
- Welcoming patients and recording their arrival accurately on the EMIS clinical system.

Job summary
The role is to provide leadership when working on shift within the IUCS contract, including line management and development of all Senior Care Navigators. You will provide real-time support and encouragement to the team and be responsible for ensuring that the service and Care Navigators are managed effectively to deliver the highest standard of patient care.
The service includes Out of Hours (OOH), UTC, SPA and TOPs and is based at Royal London Hospital.
The postholder would be required to work both morning and evening shifts. This is a mandatory requirement of the role. Evening shifts may run until 10:00pm.

Main duties of the job
Manage a busy shift for the IUCS ensuring the staff performance is met at all times to deliver the best patient care.
Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to deliver the service in the most efficient way.
Conduct regular 1-2-1 meetings and appraisals for the SCNs to develop their skills and performance as appropriate to facilitate achievement of objectives
To harmonise duties and skills amongst the SCN team
Hold regular team meetings and shift briefings, cascading information and escalating concerns as required.
Monitor annual leave to ensure team members are requesting and taking leave in a measured and timely manner. For both SCNs and their teams.
Support team members whilst absent from work through sickness, maternity leave etc, support the return-to-work programme including return to work interviews for SCNs and their teams
Facilitate feedback to team members following audit, acknowledging achievements and supporting any areas of development identified.
To discuss performance achievements or concerns with staff. Set appropriate performance improvement plans. Ensure any performance concerns are addressed in real time, clearly documented and escalated to the Service Lead and Deputy Service Lead
Act as a point of escalation for the audit team for ongoing audit concerns.
Attend management meetings and share learnings and ensure continuous improvement
Rota management , allocating Clinical and admin shifts, assist deputy SM with payroll and floor management.
