You will provide operational support to the Infection Division and be responsible for the performance of the inpatient and outpatient administration teams and will line manage four varied members of staff.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead on RTT and all other outpatient efficiency metrics. You will also be heavily involved in improving patient flow metrics on our inpatient ward.

We expect you to be hard working, engaged and supportive towards your colleagues. You will be expected to offer suggestions to improve the service, as well as supporting your teams to do the same.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Endoscopy Team Leader to join the Gastrointestinal Medicine Team. We are looking for applicants with experience of leading a team and who are passionate about delivering excellent patient care.

As Team Leader you will provide leadership and operational support to the Endoscopy Service. 1 fixed term post in Infectious Diseases/Tropical Medicine at UCLH is available from 9/11/26-3/9/27.

The post involves working in the inpatient ward teams under the supervision of Infectious diseases Consultants, and in the Hospital for Tropical Diseases outpatient clinics. This provides a unique opportunity to work in the national referral centre for Tropical Medicine and tertiary Infectious Diseases service.

This post would be ideal for someone to expand their existing infectious diseases training as an OOPT, or an individual who is looking to gain experience in Tropical Medicine/Infectious Diseases with a view to pursuing specialty training in Infectious Diseases. We require someone who has current GMC registration.

Main duties of the job

The key responsibility is to work in the Hospital Tropical Diseases outpatient department, and inpatient infection service at UCLH. This provides unparalleled experience of managing tropical and imported infections as well as complex UK acquired infection. The post includes attendance at the rich program of learning and training opportunities throughout the week.

Additionally, the successful candidates will be on SpR the on-call rota for Infectious Diseases at registrar level this, including ward cover for ID inpatients, and admitting referrals to ID from the Emergency Department, as well as providing advice over the phone to referring hospitals with the support of the on call consultant. The post will allow for valuable experience managing infectious presentations as well as strengthening core general medical skills.

The successful applicant will join a growing team of dosimetrists liaising closely with physics, clinical and radiographic staff in the provision of radiotherapy and proton therapy physics services.

The ability to work and communicate effectively with minimum supervision is essential.Candidates must have a clinical background with good knowledge of relevant anatomy, physiology, and pathology. As the dosimetry team is hybrid working, a good understanding of using Microsoft Teams is also an essential requirement for this position.

Main duties of the job

The dosimetry team will be expected to produce photon and proton treatment plans for the UCLH casemix, including treatment complex sarcoma, head and neck, neurological and paediatric cancers.

The successful candidate will be expected to participate in multidisciplinary discussions in order to produce the best treatment options for the patient.

The Research Nurse/Clinical Trial Practitioner is an autonomous specialist working within the multi-disciplinary team. The post holder will take responsibility for the co-ordination, regulatory oversight and management of a clinical research portfolio comprising in-house, national and international phase II and III clinical trials in haematology. The postholder will be joining one of the largest IBD units in the UK alongside a diverse team of specialists, including dietitians, clinical nurse specialists, GIsurgeons, and mental health professionals, to provide cutting edge, evidencebased, patient-centred care to over 6500 patients.

Main duties of the job

The post holder is expected to have broad experience of general gastroenterology disorders including independent gastroscopy and ideally diagnostic colonic. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Consultant Neurologist to join the Headache Service at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN), Queen Square, on a 12-month locum basis.This 5 PA post offers an opportunity to work within a nationally and internationally recognised specialist service for complex headache and facial pain. You will help maintain continuity of care for existing patients while contributing to the development of specialist services, particularly CGRP monoclonal antibody and Gepant therapies and the urgent assessment and treatment of cluster headache and other trigeminal autonomic cephalalgias.You will work alongside experienced neurologists, specialist nurses, psychologists, neurosurgeons and neuroradiologists in a highly collaborative environment with strong links to research, education and innovation.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain tertiary neonatal intensive care experience working in the heart of central London at UCLH. The UCLH neonatal unit is the primary referral centre for neonatal intensive care (a tertiary unit with 21 ITU and HDU cots) for the North Central London Perinatal Network and provides a full range of intensive care for the sickest and most vulnerable babies. We specialise in neonatal neuro-critical care, and we are a regional centre for therapeutic hypothermia (cooling). We work in partnership with our UCLH fetal medicine unit, a regional, national and international referral centre for complex pregnancies, and the world-renowned Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), specialist paediatric hospital, to collaboratively care for babies with complex conditions.
