Job summary
Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust is seeking up to two Associate Non-Executive Directors (Associate NEDs) to join its Board. This is an exceptional opportunity to share your talents and expertise to make a positive difference to the lives of patients and communities across Yorkshire and the Humber, while helping to shape the future direction of the Trust.
The Trust is particularly interested in candidates who can bring professional expertise and/or lived experience in clinical services (primary care, urgent and emergency care, nursing, allied health professionals, and clinical commissioning), and health and care technology (digital transformation, artificial intelligence or cyber security).
Associate NEDs play an important role in supporting Board succession planning, providing independent perspectives and contributing to Board discussions and decision-making. Successful candidates may also be considered for appointment as a full Non-Executive Director within two years should a vacancy arise and they meet the essential criteria.

Job summary
Yorkshire Ambulance Service: Ancillary Services Team, are offering an opportunity for a shift 15 hours per week, Premise Cleaner at our Harrogate Ambulance Station.
Working days and times are dependent upon provision required, due to the Yorkshire Ambulance Service being a 24/7 Emergency Service.
Allocated Bank Holiday working maybe required.

Main duties of the job
Duties will include Station/Site Cleaning:
To undertake cleaning, decontamination, and other associated tasks to meet the high standards of cleanliness and Infection Prevention and
Control measures required across our stations and sites.
To ensure that all activities are performed in line with the Trust Cleaning Protocols, procedures, and specific daily work schedules.
Achieving and maintaining all required standards of cleanliness across the organization. Our cleaning schedules include entrances and foyers, public and staff washrooms/toilets, kitchens, canteens/restaurant's, gym's, shower rooms, training rooms, corridors, stairs, landings, lifts, offices, contact centres, storerooms, dirty utility rooms, crew rooms, external areas, and other associated areas.
To ensure adequate stocks of cleaning materials are maintained and to record all daily activities. This will include urgent spillage and ad-hock cleaning and deep cleaning as requested or where identified.
Use of basic IT; access and inputting of information is essential. For example: Emails and time sheets. (full support given)

Our multi-disciplinary team of staff provide a high level of clinical care to patients across the Yorkshire and Humber region, using telephone communication systems. Training
You will commence your role on a training contract until successful completion of your training, following this you will then be moved onto a permanent contract. Training will be 7 weeks full time.

Main duties of the job
Working as part of the Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust, we offer a high standard and professional service to our patients, supporting them by providing high level, evidence-based care, where necessary signposting to the most appropriate service or care provider including, ambulance dispatch and the wider community based services.

As an Emergency Health Advisor (EHA) , your role is to answer Emergency and Non-Emergency calls within our Emergency Operations Centre (EOC). This could include:
- Taking Emergency Calls from members of the public and giving the appropriate advice to care for the patient until the ambulance arrives on scene.
- Taking emergency calls from the Police and Fire Services.
- Taking emergency and non-emergency bookings from Health Care Professionals (HCPs), Nurses and Hospitals for patient transfers.
- Informing Police, Fire and other agencies about incidents.
- Assisting ambulance crews and dispatchers with information and directions as and when necessary, e.g. during a major incident.
Successful applicants will work a mixture of working unsociable hours, weekends, bank holidays and the Christmas/New Year period.

Main duties of the job
Duties will include Station/Site Cleaning:
To undertake cleaning, decontamination, and other associated tasks to meet the high standards of cleanliness and Infection Prevention andControl measures required across our stations and sites.
To ensure that all activities are performed in line with the Trust Cleaning Protocols, procedures, and specific daily work schedules.
Achieving and maintaining all required standards of cleanliness across the organization. Our cleaning schedules include entrances and foyers, public and staff washrooms/toilets, kitchens, canteens/restaurant's, gym's, shower rooms, training rooms, corridors, stairs, landings, lifts, offices, contact centres, storerooms, dirty utility rooms, crew rooms, external areas, and other associated areas.
To ensure adequate stocks of cleaning materials are maintained and to record all daily activities. This will include urgent spillage and ad-hock cleaning and deep cleaning as requested or where identified.
Use of basic IT; access and inputting of information is essential. For example: Emails and time sheets.
Our training package includes NVQ Level 2 & NCFE IPC level 2.

Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust is recruiting Senior Clinical Advisors for our Emergency Operations Centres (999) in Wakefield and York. With exciting developments planned over the next few years, we are seeking highly motivated, enthusiastic and committed individuals to support these changes.
Applicants must be NMC RN1 or HCPC Paramedic registered. We cannot accept an NMC PRN Pin as it does not meet the role's essential criteria.
This advert is open to internal and external applicants.
Internal paramedic applicants may work 100% as an EOC Senior Clinical Advisor or choose a rotational role of five weeks in their A&E operational role followed by five weeks in EOC. Your preference will be requested during the application process. This vacancy is for the Wakefield and York call centres only; Remote Hub vacancies will be advertised separately when available.
Training: You will begin on a training contract and move to a permanent contract after successfully completing training. Homeworking is not available.
Opportunities are available to work Monday to Friday between 08:00 and 22:00, alongside the usual 24/7 rota. If interested in the Monday-to-Friday option, this can be discussed if you are successful through the process.
