We have an excellent opportunity for an Business Administrative Assistant to join our Adult ADHD Service within the directorate of Mental Health. This is a Full time role and you will be working 37.5 hours Monday to Friday.
As an Business Administration Assistant for Adult ADHD Service you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive administration service to a specific area of the mental health team which will include supporting a clinical team. This is a diverse role and you will be working in a busy and fast paced environment within a team that value and support each other. We are looking for people with administration experience, strong communication skills with the ability to work on their own and in a team and who can demonstrate our values of Compassion, Trust, Respect and Integrity.

Main duties of the job
As an Business Assistant you will be the first point of contact for telephone enquiries from patients and referrers. You will be working proactively as part of the wider administrative and clinical teams including other services within the directorate of Mental Health and Clinical and Medical Staff.
You will be processing referrals, data inputting, supporting the wider teams as per service needs and other general administration duties. For this you will require good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, excellent IT skills and highly organised with good planning skills. The role includes telephone and written correspondence with patients, Service Users, liaising with family members/carers, GPs and other primary care services, other external NHS services or partner agencies, such as Social Care and the Police. You will need good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise with service users in a calm and compassionate manner.

Main duties of the job
The Improvement Lead will work with the Digital and Operational transformation teams, together with Corporate Leads, CMG Transformation Leads, General Managers, Clinical Directors, Heads of Service , Service Managers and clinical teams to enable the process optimisation and benefits realisation of digital tools and systems. This will typically involve deep process study using techniques such as process mapping, time and motion charts, demand and capacity studies, data collection and data visualisation to ensure we take appropriate improvement actions to develop our processes. These activities will form part of the overall Trust strategy to develop and embed a culture of continuous Improvement.

Social prescribers support patients with various physical and mental health conditions by connecting them into community services, groups, activities and other pursuits.
They:
- Promote prevention & lifestyle changes

Encouraging people to take independent steps to improve their wellbeing.

Working as part of the PCN multi-disciplinary teams across allocated PCNs taking part in meetings, promoting the service to colleagues, providing advice and allocating time to each practice.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive individual to join our Urgent Care and Frailty Therapy team as a band 6 Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist at Northampton General Hospital, part of the University Hospitals of Northamptonshire. This is a fixed term contract for 3 months starting in December 2026 to support with winter pressures.
This role will help you to strengthen and further develop your core and specialist clinical skills, as well as allowing you the opportunity to be involved in staff development, audit and service improvement.
The Urgent Care and Frailty Team consists of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Therapy Support Staff. The Team covers the Emergency Department, Nye Bevan Assessment Unit and the Frailty Assessment Unit. We also work very closely with the extended multidisciplinary team.
Previous experience of working as an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist across a broad range of specialities including acute medicine, care of the elderly, respiratory and orthopaedics would be beneficial in this field. Main duties of the job
As a Band 6 clinician within a joint therapy service, you will be required to take part in delivering a quality Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy Service working closely with other members of the Multidisciplinary Team including Therapy Technical Instructors, Nurses, Medics and the Hospital Complex case discharge Team. You will need to have an enthusiastic attitude, be forward thinking and have a problem-solving approach to patient management. The ability to work within a fast paced and pressured environment is essential, along with having excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and demonstration of the ability to support other team members.The post holder will be responsible for the provision of Occupational Therapy / Physiotherapy assessment, intervention, and discharge planning of patients with multiple, sometimes complex diagnoses. You will also need to work in collaboration with other members of the multi-disciplinary team in order to provide a patient-centered service, working to identify patient needs to facilitate a safe and timely discharge from hospital.
You will have the opportunity to contribute and lead on our new preceptorship program including bootcamp training sessions for preceptees and service development projects. We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist to join our Urgent Care team in the Therapy Department at Northampton General Hospital, part of the University Hospitals of Northamptonshire group. Main duties of the job

Are you a proactive, enthusiastic person looking for a new experience or the next step in your career? We have an exciting opportunity for a band 4 Senior Therapy Technical Instructor (STTI) to join our established team of therapists to work in the urgent care and frailty therapy team at Northampton General Hospital. This is a 3 month fixed term contract from December 2026 to support with winter pressures.
The team consists of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Support Staff and you will be supported by the qualified staff in the role and encouraged to develop your knowledge and skills. The successful candidate will work alongside the therapy staff and the wider multi-disciplinary team on the Nye Bevan Assessment Unit, the Emergency Department and the Frailty Assessment Unit.
The successful candidate will work autonomously, under the indirect supervision of therapists, to complete rapid assessments of routine patients and provide therapy intervention to enable a safe and timely discharge from the front door. This will also include providing clinical reasoning as to why a patient may not be safe to be discharged at that time. The applicant will have the opportunity to work with patients who have a variety of medical conditions and presentations, be required to manage their own caseload and support other team members under the supervision of qualified therapists. This will include supporting other therapy support staff with their rotational objectives.

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly specialist Band 7 Physiotherapist to join our expanding Neonatal Allied Health Professional Team. This newly created permanent role offers the chance to play a key part in shaping and developing an innovative service that supports babies and their families during some of the most critical stages of early development.
Working within our neonatal team, you will help deliver specialist assessment, intervention and support for infants and families, while contributing to service development, quality improvement and multidisciplinary working across the neonatal pathway.

The successful candidate will have significant experience working within addiction and substance misuse services, with a strong understanding of recovery models, relapse prevention, and trauma-informed care.

Main duties of the job
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals experiencing substance and behavioural addictions, including both one-to-one and group therapy sessions.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and risk assessments, developing and reviewing personalised treatment and recovery plans.
- Facilitate psychoeducational and relapse prevention groups to help clients build coping strategies and maintain long-term recovery.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic, person-centred approach to treatment and care.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to a safe, supportive, and recovery-focused therapeutic environment.
