Job summary
Are you an experienced People/HR professional looking for a role where you can influence strategic decision-making, shape workforce transformation and make a real difference to staff and patient care?
The Deputy Head of People is a strategic HR Business Partnering role, supporting the Head of People in driving the People agenda across one or more Care Groups within the Health Board. You will work closely with Care Group Directors and senior leadership teams providing expert workforce, organisational development and employee relations advice across a broad and complex portfolio. Care Groups range in size, between circa 1000-3000 people.
Working within a complex organisation employing around 13,500 staff across over 200 professions, with multiple sets of terms and conditions and recognised Trade Union partners, the postholder will provide expert people advice and leadership across a broad range of workforce matters. The role requires significant experience of HR Business Partnering at a senior level within a large, complex organisation, with the ability to influence stakeholders, support organisational change, and deputise for the Head of People as required.
Most importantly, you'll be joining a supportive and collaborative People Directorate that values innovation, continuous improvement and teamwork. We offer flexible and hybrid working arrangements, a strong focus on wellbeing and development, and positive team culture.
Main duties of the job
As Deputy Head of People, you will support the Head of People in leading the delivery of strategic people support across a range of services, helping leaders achieve their workforce objectives while ensuring staff have a positive experience at work.
You will:
- Business Partnering with senior leaders to develop and implement workforce and organisational development plans.
- Provide expert advice on workforce planning, organisational change, employee relations, talent management and service transformation.
- Lead on complex and high-profile workforce issues, supporting managers to find effective, fair and pragmatic solutions.
- Facilitate organisational development interventions, leadership development and team improvement activities.
- Support the delivery of workforce redesign programmes that improve services, productivity and patient care.
- Build strong relationships with Trade Union representatives and key stakeholders across the organisation.
- Contribute to Health Board-wide people initiatives and projects, working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider People Directorate.
- Coach, support and develop managers to build confidence and capability in people management
- Deputise for the Head of People as required and represent the directorate at senior meetings and forums.
This role also offers the opportunity to deputise for the Head of People, providing visibility at a senior level and supporting key decision-making forums when required.

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) to join our Walsall NHS Talking Therapies service. Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide high-quality assessments and evidence-based low-intensity interventions for adults experiencing common mental health difficulties within NHS Talking Therapies services. Main duties of the job
The PG Dip in CYP PT course starts in January 2027 and will be completed over 1 year. Students will study their modality (CBT) Modules alongside Core Skills Modules. Students will be required to attend university regularly each week. The remaining time in role will be spent working clinically within your service with children, young people with symptoms of anxiety or depression, their families, schools and wider systems.
The ideal candidates will have a background in a core profession or extensive experience as a CAMHS practitioner, as well as some experience of working with children and young people up to the age of 18 with a range of mild to moderate mental health difficulties, either individually or in groups.

Main duties of the job
You will carry out the repair, maintenance or installation of all plant, equipment, systems and building structure/fabric associated with all Trust properties. This will consist of planned preventative maintenance (PPMs), testing and calibration, fault finding, emergency response, defect correction and minor works.
You will be employed to work appropriate to your core skills around building and engineering plant and equipment maintenance. You will progressively be trained, where required, to acquire other skills with the intention of reaching levels of multi trade flexibility and competence. You will have some Competent Person duties for which training will be provided and will participate in the crafts persons on call rota. You will work closely with the Senior Technicians to improve planned maintenance.

As part of the Wedgwood team there will be some cross ward working, with opportunity to gain experience on our older adult wards too.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to supervise an OTA and/or Activity Worker and to implement person centred OT interventions and promote the OT profession within this setting. The successful candidate will work under the supervision and guidance of an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to refine their skills and develop within this role. Alongside this, the trust offers a supportive preceptorship programme, and we welcome newly qualified members of staff.
Wedgwood house is a well established inpatient site, with extensive therapeutic spaces including a therapy garden, ADL kitchen, creative room, and a well-equipped gym.
Main duties of the job
You will be expected to take a clinical role in the OT assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of services for clients.
Contribute to and participate in multi-disciplinary team assessments.
Be involved in the planning, development, delivery and evaluation of person-centred care planning and person-centred formulations.
Provide a first line response to referrals, providing where necessary a health and social care needs assessment or meeting the needs already identified in a health and social care needs assessment.
You will have the opportunity to develop strong therapeutic relationships with our service users during their admission to hospital which will support your professional approach and guide your assessments and interventions in order to make admissions meaningful and purposeful. You will be given the opportunity to network and develop professional relationships with community teams and professionals to promote the recovery and discharge of our service users. You will also liaise with third sector services within the local community in order to signpost and engage our

This service provides support and care to patients and their families during the last few months / weeks and days of life. The service integrates with existing agencies, i.e. Macmillan Specialist Palliative Care Team, District Nursing Teams, Marie Curie Nursing Services, and Hospices, to provide improved end of life care to patients at home.
The post holders will work directly and indirectly under the guidance of the Hospice at Home Team Leader, providing basic nursing care and holistic support to patients and their families in their own homes.
You will required to work rota'd weekends and Bank Holidays.

The post joins our well-established Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy Team as Acute Heart Failure Physiotherapist and joint Cardiothoracic Team Lead. This post will be of interest to physiotherapists with a cardiorespiratory background who are working at Band 6 or 7 level and wish to progress their career within a supportive specialist multidisciplinary team. The post holder will be supported in their professional development within an experienced and expert team.
This Team Lead role works closely with the Principal Physiotherapist in the advanced assessment and treatment of patients with acute heart failure, including those with highly complex presentations, ensuring accurate clinical reasoning and delivery of holistic, patient-centred care as an autonomous practitioner.
The post holder provides highly skilled team leadership and is jointly responsible for operational management, team development, implementation of policy and policy changes within cardiothoracic physiotherapy team.
The role offers the opportunity to supervise, initiate and participate in evidence-based projects, including recommendations for change in practice in the clinical areas of Heart Failure and Cardiology.

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Band 5 Nurse to join the multidisciplinary team on a temporary basis at the Community Inpatient Unit (CIU), which provides nursing and enablement services to patients within the Rehabilitation and Recovery Inpatient Unit.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, well-motivated and reliable person to join our friendly team in the Microbiology department at BHR University Hospitals Trust. The department is based on two sites; Queen's Hospital in Romford and King George Hospital in Goodmayes. The King George Hospital site is the current primary work base, however working at the Queen's Hospital site will be required.
You should have a science-based foundation degree, preferably Biomedical Science, or equivalent qualification. The post holder will receive formal training within the Trust as well as within the Microbiology Department. The position requires staff to work flexible hours during the week as well as at weekends and bank holidays, providing a seven-day working week service. We are a very busy department and require staff to work as a team to allow us to efficiently process the daily workload
Main duties of the job
The post holder will rotate through sections of Microbiology, working in a team to perform complex analytical investigations on patient samples in order to provide a quality and timely diagnostic and monitoring service essential for patient care. BHRUT is looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic midwife to join our team as a band 7 Labour Ward Coordinator. If you are an NMC registered midwife who has an NMC PIN Number and would like to make a difference to women and their families, then we would like to hear from you. Main duties of the job
To ensure that midwifery practice is evidence-based and women-centered.
To provide expert midwifery advice and guidance to all members of the multidisciplinary team when necessary.
Set, monitor and maintain high standards of Midwifery care within the ward environment
To maintain personal contact with women, relatives and carers, being sensitive to their needs for courtesy, dignity and privacy.

Are you a qualified advanced clinical practitioner passionate about Integrated Sexual Health?
We are seeking a motivated band 8a advanced clinical practitioner in ISH to join our forward-thinking ISH team.
We welcome applicants from nursing, midwifery or allied health professions who are qualified advanced clinical practitioners with extensive Integrated Sexual Health experience who are keen to work in a supportive and multidisciplinary environment.
We have 1 fixed term 12-month post who will focus on supporting the development of targeted sexual health in reach and outreach services for vulnerable and underserved Westminster residents who remain under-represented within traditional healthcare settings

Main duties of the job
- Demonstrate effectiveness in prioritising, escalating, de-escalating, providing self help or management advice and refer for treatment/assessment/decision supportin a timely manner within the clinical context of their role.

We have an exciting opportunity to support some of the most vulnerable patients within our healthcare system.
Based at UCLH and across NCL, you'll be part of a small, dedicated homeless intermediate care team working across our NCL acute hospital trusts, P2 beds and community to support patients experiencing homelessness and social exclusion.
You will play a key role in helping patients navigate their health and discharge journey from admission to discharge and in community follow up workingclosely with clinical teams, local authorities, and community services to ensure safe,appropriate, and person-centred transitions from hospital to community care.
You will also line manage a team of clinicians and non-clinicians in supporting our patients, focusing on staff improvement and wellbeing as well as continuous service improvement for our patients.
