Job summary

This post will be based with Conwy Community Learning Disability Team. Our Learning Disability Service is a very friendly and supportive atmosphere within which to work, and it is a service that highly values Clinical Psychology. Main duties of the job
The nature of Learning Disability Services means that applicants need to be organised, flexible, and capable of forming effective working/therapeutic relationships with both clients and colleagues. Given your skill base as a Clinical Psychologist your colleagues will be proactive in asking for your advice, supervision etc, and value greatly high quality input. You will also be expected to play a key role in maintaining Team health, by facilitating discussion/formulation of Team activity with regard to client work, and beyond. This may extend to providing some brief Psychological support to colleagues.
