Job summary
We are looking for Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner to be dual role for recovery/anaesthetic team within the elective theatre department at North Tyneside General Hospital. This post will also support our emergency stream at the Northumbria Hospital on a weekend and out of hours rota for night shifts and on calls.
Previous recovery & anaesthetic experience would be an advantage; however, a comprehensive training package is in place for newly qualified staff, or those new to the perioperative environment.
The successful candidate should be motivated and enthusiastic and committed to delivering safe, high-quality care.
This role includes exposure prone procedures (EPP).
Full-time posts (part-time hours may also be considered)

Main duties of the job
Delivering excellent standards of care and providing patient support throughout the post-operative phase, advocating on behalf of the dependent patient. Undertaking the role of the recovery nurse & anaesthetic assistant ensuring safe practice is maintained and patients have a positive and safe perioperative experience when delivering high quality care. Working with, and supporting other members of the multi-disciplinary team. Will undertake preparation and monitoring of the pre and post anaesthetic environment ensuring all equipment is maintained and in working condition. Supervising junior colleagues, unregistered staff and students within your role and working alongside other wards and departments and other members of the MDT.

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work in the Acute Older Adult Inpatient Unit at the Harbour, Blackpool, delivering care to service users who are experiencing mental health problems. The successful candidate will be responsible for caseloads, assessing patients within the hospital and home environments and supporting with patient-centred care and timely discharges to home or the most appropriate placement.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will deliver a range of group and/or individual interventions drawn from relevant frames of reference, demonstrating sophisticated clinical reasoning skills. They will prioritise planning and delivering interventions for adults whose mental health problems have a marked impact on their occupational functioning and who have complex occupational needs. This senior position requires achieving an appropriate balance between the provision of specialist occupational therapy and taking on shared roles that contribute to the efficient functioning of the team.
As an emergent leader and skilful communicator, the post holder will liaise and negotiate across service boundaries and in varied settings. They are research aware, and use evidence to support and develop practice. The post holder will provide regular fieldwork opportunities for occupational therapy undergraduates, and contribute to the learning of other team members or students from other disciplines. They have responsibilities for mentoring and/or developing others and supervise more junior practitioners and support staff, delegating work to add to the effectiveness and efficiency of the team.

This is a fixed term contract to cover a 12 month secondment, within the adult Speech and Language Therapy service at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be expected to manage a complex SLT caseload independently, providing second opinions and advice for junior staff when required. They will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and will be expected to work collaboratively with patients, carers, and colleagues, the voluntary sector and Social Services in regards to the planning and delivery of care.
Provision of specialist Speech and Language Therapy assessment and management to adult inpatients, based on the acute wards at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

We are excited to offer the fantastic opportunity for a well experienced, qualified Dietitian to join our friendly and supportive team of Paediatric Dietitians. We would love to hear from you if you have post registration neonatal dietetic experience or are well versed in general acute paediatric dietetics working with babies and children, and have a passion or ambition to work in a busy neonatal environment.
You will be working alongside a team of friendly, supportive and experienced Paediatric Dietitians across 2 hospitals within Mid and South Essex Foundation Trust (Basildon and Southend Hospitals) and covering our neonatal caseload. You will be required to provide clinical leadership on these sites to neonatal dietetics, and supported by colleagues who also have neonatal experience. You will be involved in upskilling and clinical supervision of Band 5/6 paediatric dietitians and.
The post is offered as a 0.6 wte part time permanent position across 2 sites. Jobshare would be considered, subject to meeting the needs of the service.
Main duties of the job
In this role you will work alongside other paediatric dietitians to cover the neonatal caseload. Close collaboration with the wider neonatal MDT, including fellow AHPs, medical and nursing staff to ensure family integrated care.
You will participate in patient handovers, and MDT ward rounds. You will also have firm opportunity to develop the MSEFT neonatal dietetic service, alongside another Band 7 neonatal dietitian colleague in Broomfield Hospital (also part of MSEFT).

Job summary
The Vulnerabilities department brings together a number of services within the trust including, Maternity, Children and Adult Safeguarding, Social Work, the KHP Homeless Service, Violence Reduction, specialist MH, Learning Disabilities, Domestic Violence and End of Life Care under one model. This new department is an innovative approach for Kings College Hospital, with the aim of developing a holistic and responsive service to risk and vulnerability within all hospital sites.
The post holder will work collaboratively with the Deputy Head of Social Work, to provide high quality social work service to the division and the wider trust, managing a range of existing social work posts. They will also manage the Kings Health Partners (KHP) Homeless Service, in partnership with GSTT, providing cross-site management support of any posts that fall under the jurisdiction of the homeless service. In addition to the line management of this service they are also expected to lead in the strategic development of homeless services across the KHP Network.
Alongside these core duties, the post holder will be expected to work in partnership with the wider Vulnerabilities service, supporting duty functions in responding and addressing the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable patients across the trust. Main duties of the job
1. The role is a highly customer focused technical role, providing 1st line desktop support and 2nd line fix to machines such as PCs, laptops and networked devices like label printers.

Job summary
The post holder will provide effective, evidence-based care to patients under the indirect supervision of a registered practitioner. They will plan, organise, and deliver delegated clinical care in line with NHS policies, clinical governance, and professional standards.
This position is for 16.5 hours per week, on a fixed term contract.
Working independently and as part of the multidisciplinary team, the HCP will manage and prioritise their own workload, undertake delegated patient assessments, identify and manage care risks, and contribute to the delivery of a safe, high-quality, and cost-effective service.
The post holder will support audits and inspections, ensure Practice policies are followed, maintain their own professional development, and demonstrate flexibility in working hours to meet service needs.
Main duties of the job
To provide effective, evidence based general and specific care to clients under the indirect supervision of registered practitioners.
To plan, organise and deliver clinical care as agreed with the supervising practitioner in line with clinical governance and within agreed professional standards and guidelines.
To use personal effectiveness and knowledge to contribute to the development and delivery of a quality service.
To work pro-actively as a member of the multi-disciplinary team in support of registered practitioners.
The practitioner will work independently under the indirect supervision of a registered practitioner and will follow policies and procedures using own initiative and managing own workload.
Organise and prioritise own workload, time and resources effectively to reduce risks to the quality for service delivery.
Undertake client assessment following delegation from a registered nurse.
Help the practice operate in a cost-effective manner.
Identify and manage care risks on a continuing basis.
Participate in audits and inspections as appropriate.
Ensure that all Practice Policy is fully implemented.
To be responsible for your own continuing self-development, undertaking training as appropriate.
To undertake other duties appropriate to the grading of the post as required.
Must be able to work flexible hours.
