To undertake the duties of a (Band 5) dental technician to clinical prescription producing dental technical restorations related to fixed prosthodontics. The vast majority of the work of this post holder will be the construction of fixed appliances.
Main duties of the job
Technical Work
The construction complete and partial fixed prostheses in acrylic, all-ceramic, composite, cast dental alloys, composite and PEEK materials
Use of CAD/CAM technology to design and manufacture fixed prostheses.
Works allocation
To ensure that turnaround times are met.
To escalate to the Laboratory Manager when turnaround targets are not being met
Quality
Ensure that work produced by the laboratory is of the highest possible standard and meets the needs of the service users prescribing the work.
To escalate any quality concerns to the Laboratory Manager
To escalate to Management any concerns around the quality or delivery of externally procured lab work
Additional Duties
To undertake any duties, commensurate to grade, that are required to ensure the smooth running of the service.

Job responsibilities
The construction of a range of fixed appliances for clinical staff, postgraduate students and undergraduate students.
To be familiar with CAD/CAM technology and its current role within dental technology.
To be able to demonstrate specific skills i.e. high levels of dexterity and coordination using CAD/ CAM technology .
To be able to scan and design fixed appliances for periods of intense prolonged concentration using VDU equipment daily, whereby there may be a requirement for sitting in a restricted position for a substantial portion of time.
Prioritise their own workload including planning for appliances and formulating adjustments where necessary. This will involve ensuring all appointment dates are met and the keeping of up-to-date records of all work allocated using correct laboratory protocols.
All work to be produced in line with Medical Devices Regulations.
Ability to communicate with staff and students. This will also mean spending time on consultant, postgraduate clinics unsupervised and may involve communicating with patients regarding shade taking with occasional exposure to distressing or emotional circumstances.
Assist with the routine day to day running of the laboratory and assist clinical and nursing staff with collection of completed work.
Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of own work areas plus have responsibility for specific items of laboratory equipment and report defects in need of remedy to the Lead Technician

Main duties of the job
Role Purpose
To undertake high-quality neurodevelopmental assessments for children, young people and/or adults. Depending on the specific clinical pathway (e.g, ADHD vs. Autism/combined assessments), the postholder will formulate clinical outcomes either as an autonomous single clinician or collaboratively as part of a Multidisciplinary Team (MDT).
The postholder will work in accordance with professional standards, Oakdale policies, and service requirements, supporting the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of neurodevelopmental services. Clinical duties and the level of independent practice permitted are strictly governed by the postholders formal progression and sign-off through the Oakdale Clinical Development Framework, working under direct clinical supervision until independent competency has been successfully demonstrated and documented.

- Responsible for the operational management of the Reception and Administration Team, including staff supervision, recruitment, training, performance management, and the preparation and maintenance of rotas to ensure adequate staffing levels and service continuity.
- Prepare and monitor Clinical appointment diaries, reviewing the demand and capacity on a daily basis to ensure service needs are met.
- Convene practice and multi-disciplinary meetings, including the preparation of agendas and production of minutes, ensuring any actions are dealt with within the agreed timeframes.
- Run searches and reports within the EMIS system to support the call and recall of chronic disease patients.
- Assist with the gathering of statistics and information when required.

You'll be part of a supportive care team, helping to create a safe and welcoming dining experience for people staying in a residential rehabilitation service. Main duties of the job
What you will do:

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant within the team, you will work closely with an Occupational Therapist to deliver occupational therapy interventions within the new Neighbourhood model. The will include supporting the delivery of both individual and group interventions offering a clear care pathway, these interventions include:
- Occupation Matters Programme - a 20 week group which utilises Lifestyle Redesign principles.
- Recovery through Occupation - a 6 week group which uses the Re-Motivation process to improve an individual's motivation and social skills.

Job summary
Support the Fire Officer to provide expert professional guidance and support to Managers and Staff within Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in relation to the risk management of Fire Safety in accordance with Health Technical Memorandum 05-01: Managing healthcare fire safety.
To manage, organise, implement, co-ordinate and maintain full and efficient Fire Safety practice and procedures and carry out the Fire Safety training of all Trust staff.
To provide specialist advice to staff and outside contractors in respect of statutory Fire Safety legislation in existing and new buildings incorporating HTM 05 (Fire Code) and the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, with support from the Fire Officer.
To carry out Fire Risk Assessments and to review them annually, utilising a variety of required methodologies including HTM 05-03 Part K and prioritise action plans for all Trust properties.
To provide support, as necessary, in carrying out ancillary duties associated with the Fire Officer, Health & Safety Manager, and Capital Projects Teams.

We are seeking a suitably qualified Cardiac Physiologist / Echocardiographer to join our team at the Royal Surrey County Hospital Team and need to cover HASLEMERE site as well.The Cardiology Business Unit provides a full invasive and non-invasive cardiac service including cardiac catheterisation. The department also offers physiologist-led exercise testing, 24 hour ECG and BP monitoring and event recording. We have a busy Pacemaker/ICD implant and follow-up service; we are the leading implant centre in Surrey for ICDs and CRTs.In terms of echocardiography, the department currently performs around 10000-12000 routine echoes annually and around 1000 advance echoes such as Stress, Contrast and TOE.BSE accreditation in adult Echocardiography is essential (or EACVI). Applicants will have a BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent and at least 1 year post BSE qualification experience in Transthoracic Echocardiography.
Applicants must be a highly self-motivated, well organized, flexible and reliable. You should be able to demonstrate expertise in advanced techniques in echocardiography and be enthusiastic to both teach and learn within the field of echocardiography. There is a commitment to research within the department and you will be expected to be a part of this.
Main duties of the job
We are an ambitious and enthusiastic team providing both routine and specialist cardiac testing. The post holder will perform, without supervision transthoracic echocardiograms on adult inpatients and outpatients and write reports to BSE standard.The post-holder will provide clinical leadership in the echocardiography service alongside 7 other echocardiographers, working alongside other physiologists to ensure delivery of quality clinical service? BSE accredited and undertake, supervise and teach at high level TTEs? Assist with TOE, Bubble Studies and Stress Echo's? Develop the complex echo service and improve management of complex echo lists within the department? Maintain a progressive learning environment and ensure the development of all members within the echo department? Assist in achieving BSE departmental accreditation? Deputise for the head of departments and take on management and leadership responsibility in partnership with the departmental head as well as day to day running of clinics and equipment? Paediatric echo is regularly performed at the trust and training opportunities will be given to develop skills in this specialist area

Main duties of the job

Main duties of the job
The role includes providing a dietetic service to adults as part of the multidisciplinary team (MDT) diabetes clinics at East and North Herts NHS Trust.
