Bromley Healthcare are seeking qualified Health Visitors who are keen to develop their leadership skills and sphere of influence and are keen to shape the future of Public Health Nursing in Bromley, Bexley and Greenwich.
We are invested in the development of Health Visiting and School Nursing and this is underpinned by our Public Health Nursing strategy and training programme for all roles within the PHN teams. All Health Visitors and Community Nursery Nurses have corporate membership with the Institute of Health Visiting (iHV) which offers a wealth of professional training programmes and resources to support excellent practice. The iHV has been commissioned to deliver the Leading Excellence in Practice programme to all Health Visitors and School Nurses over the next 18 months.
Our vision is to develop a progressive, inclusive and sustainable workforce that is able to meet the diverse and changing needs of the families whom we serve, and we have created developmental roles who are completing Public Health modules and will go on to train as Specialist Community Public Health Nurses.
Main duties of the job
As a health visitor working in Greenwich you will provide quality face to face contacts for families for all key contacts, work in a diverse borough following the Healthy Child Programme. Health Visitors have regular management, safeguarding, clinical and restorative supervision and support throughout your career and a chance to develop and grow with Bromley Healthcare.
Work as part of an integrated team and lead on the delivery of the healthy child programme
Identify health needs through an ecological assessment and in partnership with families, agree personalised plans to address the needs.
Delegate aspects of care to the Community Nursery Nurses and Staff Nurses within the skill mix team.
Engage and participate in service improvement.
Continuously learn to develop your own skills and those of others.
In partnership with clients and other partners, assess healthcare needs to develop and evaluate programmes to address the health needs of the population
Work in collaboration with other health care and service providers to ensure seamless delivery of services for clients and communities

As a Transport Driver you will keep blood and related products moving safely and on time, 24/7. You will collect and deliver essential items between our sites and customers, using on-board technology to track and record every movement. You will take pride in providing a professional service, completing daily vehicle checks, and keeping vehicles and equipment secure and clean. With full training, you may also support urgent blue light deliveries. This is a hands-on role where your judgement, reliability and customer care help protect patients and support clinical teams every day.
Main duties of the job
- In this role you will drive our vehicles to collect, transport and deliver blood and related products and equipment. You will keep your vehicle secure and roadworthy, complete daily checks, and help us deliver a reliable service that patients and hospitals can depend on.
- Drive a range of vehicles up to and including 7.5 tonne (except in South London (Tooting), Basildon, Lancaster and Southampton, where you will drive light goods vehicles up to 3.5 tonne).
- Use digital hand-held devices to track work and complete accurate electronic and paper records.
- Load and unload products and equipment, including assembling and dismantling kit, and safely move items up to 20kg with or without lifting aids.
- Carry out vehicle security checks, daily checks and basic maintenance, and report defects promptly.
- Support urgent blue light deliveries when required (full training will be provided).
- Use your customer care skills to give colleagues, donors, hospital staff and members of the public a positive experience of NHSBT.
This role works a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week shift system, including variable hours and days, evening and night shifts, weekends and bank holidays on a rostered basis.

Job summary
We have 1 x 35 hour fixed term position for 12 months available for Hotel Services Assistant positions that have arisen at Prince Charles Hospital.
To support the Facilities (Hotel Services) team in delivering Housekeeping and Catering services to the National Standards for these services in NHS Wales, HIW standard 5 and 9 and Organisational Standards. To assist in developing, maintaining and promoting the highest standards of service delivery and team working practices; and helping to maintain open, effective communication.
This post is fixed term/secondment for 12 months to cover maternity leave. Anyone wishing to apply for the post as a secondment must seek approval from their Line Manager before applying.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidates will be required to work within a patient environment and previous experience would be an asset. The main duties of the post include the picking and packing of patient meals to enable Patient feeding at ward level within Prince Charles Hospital in accordance with departmental schedules and specifications and in line with all cleanliness and legislative requirements that govern the delivery of the Catering Service such as Food Safety Act 1990, Food Hygiene (Wales) Legislation 2006, Food Handling policies and procedures, COSHH and HACCP procedures.
Flexibility is essential and the successful candidates will be expected to adapt to service pressures and modernisation. Also the successful candidates would need to be flexible with regard to movement throughout all Health Board sites. The successful candidates must observe and maintain the highest standards of personal hygiene, confidentiality, courtesy and consideration to all patients and fellow employees.

We are seeking a Cyber & Corporate Risk Officer to join the UKHSA Cyber Security team. This is an exciting opportunity to become a central part of this build and support the continuous development of the Cyber Governance Risk & Compliance function, provide strategic direction whilst managing the challenges and drive improvement and delivery of services.
Cyber is building on its capability to provide a critical function in the protection of the UKHSAs digital assets, working closely with wider UKHSA security teams and stakeholders Government Security Group, National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and National Protective Security Authority (NPSA) to build a resilient infrastructure, supporting the organisation in reaching its ambition to become a global leader for health security and become a critical component of our national security infrastructure.

Main duties of the job
The Cyber & Corporate Risk Officer will coordinate and deliver security risk management activity within enabling a clear and realistic view of security risk across Cyber.
They will support the delivery of Second Line Cyber Risk Assurance (CRA) across the UKHSA, reporting to the SEO Senior Cyber Risk Officer. The role will require a level of independent oversight, and work stream responsibility for focussing on a particular business area to include IACS and Harlow, supporting the programmes in the creation of a single overview of the cyber risk helping to ensure that they are clearly understood and managed in line with UKHSA's risk appetite, government standards, and public sector assurance expectations, managing escalation in line with UKHSA processes.
As second line assurance, the role does not implement or operate cyber security controls, but helps to support UKHSA leadership by:
- Providing confidence that cyber risks are identified, understood, and escalated appropriately
- Strengthening transparency, governance, and assurance
- Protecting the Agency's ability to deliver vital health security outcomes

This role is the senior clinical lead within the Medicines Management Team for Medicines Safety, Effectiveness and Governance and Adult Specialist Services. The postholder will play a key role in the review of medication incidents, audits, risk management processes and the development of policies and procedures that promote the safe and effective use of medicines across the organisation. Main duties of the job
As a senior clinical pharmacist you will
o Lead and deliver on medicines safety, effectiveness and governance.o Chair the SCFT wide Patient Group Direction (PGD) group.o Lead and deliver on a specialist clinical pharmacy service to adult bedded units with regular commitments to wards and / or services within allocated area in SCFT.o Provide and develop a specialist clinical pharmacy service in order to improve the quality of patient care and to promote evidence-based, cost-effective prescribing and use of medicines. Job summary
Parkside Medical Centre is a friendly and proactive practice looking after a diverse population in Bletchley, Milton Keynes. We have a strong practice team who work hard to deliver excellent patient care. We are looking to recruit a Practice Nurse to cover 20 - 30 hours per week, over 3-4 days a week. The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of general practice to the whole practice population. The focus of the role is both the delivery of evidence-based practice for patients presenting with a long term condition and the provision of preventative health care to the practice population. As an autonomous practitioner the nurse is responsible for the care delivered, demonstrating critical thinking and skills in clinical decision making in the management of patients.
