Job summary
We are proud to offer the post of Mental Health Wellbeing Practitioners to join our experienced workforce in Hertfordshire.
The post holder will have a desire to develop their skills in working with adults with severe and enduring mental illness, some of whom will have not had previous access to psychologically informed interventions.
The post-holder will work collaboratively with service users, their families, carers, and multi-disciplinary team members to provide assessment, care planning and coordination of care, supporting collaborative decision-making about care and treatment. The successful candidate will be part of the core team and duties will also include, holding a small caseload, completing Initial Assessments, Care Planning, Risk Assessing, being part of the Duty Team.
The post holder will support the delivery of a set of wellbeing-focused psychologically informed interventions, aligned to cognitive-behavioural principles, based on the best evidence available, that address problems often experienced by people with severe mental health problems under the supervision of a clinical/counselling psychologist or CBT therapist, where this is identified in personalised care planning and support.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will:
- hold a graduate certificate (Level 6) or postgraduate certificate (Level 7) delivering the national curriculum for Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioners (Adult Specialist Mental Health)
- work closely with colleagues in a multi-disciplinary team to deliver interventions for our service users
- carry out relevant risk assessments and risk management with the multi-disciplinary team
- engage with and gather information from service users, relatives, and patient records to develop a formulation
- work in collaboration with the individual service user and their family and carers as appropriate to develop care plans that are focused on strengths and are outcome based.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Intervention fellow to undertake dedicated high-intensity training in percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) at a high-volume centre.
Candidates should already have suitable training in general medicine including full MRCP or equivalent, and at least 4 years of General Cardiology experience. This post would be suitable for senior higher-specialist trainees (OOPE) or individuals who are post-CCT (or equivalent) and have a subspecialty interest in interventional cardiology. The fellowship is designed to provide the skills requisite to becoming an independent operator in coronary intervention including complex interventions. The post-holder will spend ~6 sessions per week undertaking coronary intervention in the cardiac catheterisation lab, 1-outpatient clinic and receive dedicated time for administrative tasks, continuous professional development and research/audit.

Job summary
The clinical role of the band 6 Occupational Therapist (OT) is to perform specialist cognitive and functional assessment of patients within the Critical Care setting with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions in a Critical Care Setting.

We are delighted to offer two part-time posts (0.5 WTE), across two specialist services with an established partnership - for either post individually or combined for a fixed term of one year covering maternity leave. Main duties of the job
Post 1: Parent Infant Mental Health Service
As a highly specialist Clinical Psychologist or Psychotherapist, you will contribute to the delivery and development of the service alongside an experienced, skilled and passionate multidisciplinary team. You will work with infants, young children and their families from a wide range of backgrounds, providing specialist support where there has been early adversity or trauma, while also strengthening our close partnerships. You will have opportunities to further develop your skills in parent-infant mental health assessment, formulation and intervention through a range of training and professional development opportunities. You will provide a formulation-led service for families from conception to age five, delivering specialist assessment and therapeutic interventions. You will also support the wider workforce through consultation, training and supervision, helping to promote understanding of infant and early years mental health across the system.
Post 2: Family Intervention and Therapy Service (FITS)
You will be an integral part of a team delivering trauma-responsive intervention for local families via professional consultation, training, reflective practice, and therapeutic pathways. Working alongside other practitioners, you will facilitate multiagency consultation, develop and deliver training and implement multi-level therapeutic intervention for children and families in contact with Local Authority Children's Services.

The Recruitment Team are seeking a Recruitment Officer (part time - 15 hours) to join our team, delivering a high quality and comprehensive Recruitment Service to the Trust.

Main duties of the job
As Recruitment Officer, you will ensure all stages of the recruitment process are completed within the guidelines of Trust procedure, NHS Employment Checking Standards and our statutory obligations. You will take a proactive approach to supporting service delivery within care groups, ensuring the right candidates are identified to fill vacancies and can take up their post in a timely manner.

Main duties of the job

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principal Practitioner Psychologist or Systemic Psychotherapist or Psychological Therapist to support the development of our Multiple Admissions Patient Pathway (MAP) Team. The MAP team was created as a pilot project to work with individuals who present with complex mental health needs, are high users of services and at risk of multiple admissions to hospital due to frequent cycles of crisis and difficulties engaging in community support. The team uses principles of open dialogue to provide support for people coming out of hospital to develop relationships with services and move towards recovery. We are looking for a dynamic individual who will support the extension of this project across East Sussex and provide leadership, supervision and consultation along with skilled clinical interventions for clients in the pathway.
Main duties of the job
The team is a multidisciplinary team who work using dialogical and systemic principles based on the open dialogue approach. They offer an enhanced level of support that is delivered via regular network meetings alongside other services to improve trust and engagement in the community offer of support. They work closely with carers/families and other agencies to ensure a joined up and consistent approach to care. All staff will be supported to complete training in open dialogue and training in working with complex mental health needs.
Training in Open dialogue desirable but not essential but candidates need experience working with complex mental health problems and interest in working with trauma.

Ophthalmic Technician
The post holder will work flexibly across ophthalmology sub-specialties and virtual clinic pathways, ensuring investigations are undertaken accurately, safely and efficiently and that results are appropriately recorded and available to support clinical decision-making.
The post is an established Band 3 Ophthalmic Technician position and forms an important part of the ophthalmology workforce skill mix. The role will include the assessment and recording of visual acuity and colour vision using Ishihara testing, visual field assessment, optical coherence tomography (OCT), corneal topography, wide-field retinal photography and intraocular pressure measurement using iCare tonometry. The post holder will also instil ophthalmic medication under the guidance and supervision of a Patient Support and Guidance (PSG) practitioner, in accordance with local policies and procedures.

Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for any OTs looking for a Band 6 position in the community, we have a 30-hour post and a full time position open to applicants.
The South Kirklees Enhanced Pathway team is a community mental health team operating in Huddersfield, as an Occupational Therapist you will be crucial to the MDT way of working and pivotal in delivering high quality care.
We have adopted the Flexible Assertive Community Treatment (FACT) model of care for service users who are presenting with increased risk and require a more intensive level of support. This feature allows care coordinators to involve the wider MDT in assessing and formulating daily risk management plans.
As the teams OT you will be responsible for conducting OT assessments and interventions with our community service users and working within the OT network that is well established across the Enhanced Pathway
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated qualified OT practitioner who can work in a flexible, innovative and creative way. The role will primarily be based in Folly Hall Mills and we operate Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, we are keen to support a good work and home life balance so flexible working is available.
Due to the large geographical are that we cover being a car driver is essential, milage is available to claim via e-Expenses.

Main duties of the job
A key element of the role will be care coordination and leadership. Demonstrating skills, knowledge and experience to support colleagues with day-to-day caseload management, duty worker role, clinical issues and supporting colleagues/team in prioritisation with clinical acuity.
Undertake initial and risk assessments, formulate and review care plans of service users which promote engagement, stability, recovery and risk management.
Manage a varied caseload.
Function as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Work with service users with both short-term interventions and severe and enduring mental health needs to promote health and wellbeing.
Document care delivery to a high standard in line with professional standards, local and national guidance.
Recognise situations that may be detrimental to the health and well being of the service user and initiates action that may be required.
Management of enquiries and direct referrals from other services such as SPA.
Support student education when allocated to the team and to contribute to the preceptorship and education of newly qualified staff where appropriate.
Maintain professional registration and demonstrate commitment to statutory codes of practice and continued professional development requirements.

Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Blackpool Adult Cystic Fibrosis Service (BACFS) as a Band 7 Highly Specialist Dietitian.
We are seeking to recruit someone who is forward thinking and excited by challenge, can implement change, is passionate and committed to delivering a high-quality service and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The role involves providing expert dietary advice, leading on speciality working groups and being an integral member of the supportive CF MDT. This position encourages continuing professional development, teaching and supporting the upskilling of other health care professions and students.
Main duties of the job
To be responsible for leading the specialist dietetic aspects of the Blackpool Adult Cystic Fibrosis Service using a high level of knowledge, skills and experience as an independent practitioner.
To deliver a high quality, evidence-based Nutrition and Dietetic service to a specialised area. To act autonomously in the management of a cystic fibrosis adult caseload with varying degrees of nutritional complexity.
To contribute to the main Nutrition and Dietetic service within Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in terms of offering in reaching mentorship and continuous professional development opportunities to the acute and community dietetic team.
To act as an expert nutritional resource within the defined specialist area, Cystic Fibrosis, and to educate and train dietetic students and other health professionals within the Trust.
To contribute to the Trusts clinical governance programme by taking a lead within the specialist area for audit, development and implementation of evidence-based guidelines/protocols/policies and continuing professional development.
About us
BACFS is the first new adult service in the UK for over 40 years, it was formed in 2016. We provide a locally accessible and highly specialised service improving life expectancy and quality of life for adults with Cystic Fibrosis (CF) in Blackpool and surrounding areas. The service is based at Blackpool Victoria Hospital. We are one of the first Cystic Fibrosis Services to offer a digital CF service in the form of virtual clinics, home monitoring, communication for our patients via Attend Anywhere, email and text.
BACFS is a close-knit, highly supportive and encouraging team. The multidisciplinary team (MDT) is made up of 3 Nurses, a Dietitian, a Physiotherapist, a Clinical Psychologist, an Associate Psychological Practitioner, a Social Worker, and 3 x Medics with admin and and service manager support. Work-life balance is greatly endorsed within our team with the opportunity for flexible working.

1) Post holder will work independently (work will be self- directed and autonomous) to manage and provide the cystic fibrosis dietetic service. You will be expected to seek peer support and clinical supervision via the specialist cystic fibrosis dietetic networks.

9) To be the nutritional lead within Blackpool Adult Cystic Fibrosis Service area for multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences. To communicate expert nutritional assessment and advice regarding individual patient care to the team.
10) As the nutritional lead for the speciality to advise the medical team on any medications which may affect nutritional therapies e.g. laxatives, anti-emetics.
11) To advise on appropriate use of nutritional products. The Dietitian will specify product type, quantity and regime to meet individual patient needs.
12) To support patients diagnosed with CF related diabetes to adapt their nutritional intake with the aim of stabilising their blood glucose and or support with advice which will optimise diabetes medication which may include teaching on carbohydrate counting.
13) To be competent with the use of enteral feeding equipment used within the Trust and community setting by attending annual training sessions.
14) To advise the multi-disciplinary team and the patient on most appropriate routes of feeding, product type, rate and volume to meet patients individual nutritional requirements.
15) To be responsible for organising the discharge of patients on alternative feeding. This includes prescription of feeds, liaising with community nursing, other hospital trusts, medical and dietetic teams and the companies providing the feed in the community.
16) To work in a frequently stressful environment with patients who may be critically ill, chronically ill, terminally ill or undergoing long periods of rehabilitation. To support them and their carers, both nutritionally and emotionally during the course of their disease.
17) To advise the catering department on the provision of nutritionally adequate menus within budgetary constraints. To be responsible for the adaptation of standard menus to suit therapeutic diets.
18) To be accountable for the appropriate supply of nutritional products to ward areas in accordance with the pharmacy department and trust policy.

1. Provides specialist Nutrition and Dietetic input to a multi-disciplinary team including medical, nursing, AHPs, catering and ward staff.

Job summary
This is a great opportunity for someone considering a career in Medical Physics. We are looking for a physics graduate (or equivalent) to assist the Clinical Scientists and Clinical Technologists in our large, busy Radiation Protection Service (RRPPS). The post is for one year and would be ideal work experience to support an application to the Scientist or Practitioner Training Schemes.
RRPPS is part of University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust and provides Medical Physics and Radiation Protection services to the Trust and to several customers in the Midlands and further afield. Customers are in NHS Trusts, private healthcare, education and industry. RRPPS staff includes Clinical Scientists and Clinical Technologists in Diagnostic Radiology, Radiation Protection, Nuclear Medicine, MRI and Non-ionising Radiation. We also have an Approved Dosimetry Service and an Instrument Calibration Service.
The post will involve routine calibration of radiation monitoring equipment, data collection, entry and analysis; and report writing. Additional duties will depend on the needs of the service and the experience of the post holder. The post is based in our purpose-built offices and laboratories in Kings Norton, but there will be some travel to external sites.
A full driving licence will be required; own car preferable but not essential.
The post is fixed term, full-time (37.5 hours per week) but some flexibility will be considered.

Join our dedicated team as an Equipment Delivery Driver at Hampshire Equipment Services (HES), supporting adults and children across Hampshire who need additional care. Job summary
The centralised decontamination unit is looking for an enthusiastic and flexible team member to assist in the decontamination and delivery of endoscopes to our user areas within the hospital.

Although the emphasis will be on medical education there will be scope to be involved with all clinical education in conjunction with the Lead pharmacist.
This key post within the department requires an enthusiastic pharmacist with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a sound clinical knowledge.

This role has 2 main components incorporating an extensive involvement in the medical education team and a strong clinical ward commitment.
About us
The medical education role needs an individual with experience in developing and delivering training to healthcare professionals in a variety of formats and settings. They need to be motivated and enthusiastic about the benefits of clinical pharmacist involvement in medical education, understand the drivers but also the external pressures of this role. It will involve working with the lead pharmacist, Trust Clinical Education team, the wider regional groups and HEIs to develop and deliver the highest quality teaching and training to our medical staff both at undergraduate and postgraduate level. The candidate will be able to design and develop teaching in areas such as safe prescribing, medicines optimisation, therapeutics and calculations. There is also an additional benefit of helping medical trainees to develop multidisciplinary working.
There are exciting opportunities to work with the lead pharmacist to develop the pharmacist role within interprofessional education in the Trust.

Main duties of the job
The post holders will have the opportunity to work across our community sites with Evelina Community OT team based at Sunshine House Child Development Centre in Camberwell, Southwark and Mary Sheridan Child development Centre, Kennington, Lambeth.
The successful applicants will be working within a large team of community children occupational therapists that support services to the Evelina community population in Lambeth and Southwark and will also be an integral part of the experts@hand multidisciplinary team supporting SEND reforms across these two boroughs.
You will have the opportunity to see children 0-19 across a range of conditions such as complex physical disabilities, Autism, Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD), and deliver blocks of assessment and therapy intervention within the service model.
Within our service we use the Canadian Model of Occupational Performance and Engagement (CMOP-e) to guide our clinical reasoning and practice- keeping a clear focus on occupational outcomes.
