Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Band 6 Physiotherapy rotation based at Queen's Hospital Burton, Sir Robert Peel and Samuel Johnson Community Hospitals.
The post holder will participate in the senior rotational scheme which involves working in a range of clinical settings as determined by the needs of the physiotherapy service. This is therefore a great opportunity to advance on learnt Band 5 skills whilst developing leadership exposure and knowledge.
The post holder will perform physiotherapeutic assessment of patients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological condition, to provide a diagnosis and develop and deliver and individualised treatment programme.
You will be required to work as part of the Respiratory on-call service following an induction programme. The team work across 7 days and evenings through a rota system.
Main duties of the job
Rotational opportunities will include Emergency Medicine (including Frailty), Acute Medicine, Respiratory, Stroke, Orthopaedics, Discharge Assessment Unit and Rehabilitation Wards
- To support the Team Leaders in day-to-day management of the team
- To assess and treat own patient caseload, and maintain associated records.
- To perform physiotherapeutic assessment of patients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological condition, to provide a diagnosis and develop and deliver and individualised treatment programme.
- To hold responsibility for own caseload, working without direct supervision. Supervision takes the form of regular formal training and clinical reasoning sessions, peer review, case conferences. Access to advice and support from a senior physiotherapist is available if required, clinical work is not routinely evaluated.

Job summary
This post holder will work as part of the Whittington Health Community Diabetes Service, CORE and Heart Failure Services Administrative Service which may include reception duties as needed by the service. This will include typing, general administration work and co-ordinating the appointments system and to provide excellent customer care at all times using Trust Customer Care Standards.
Using effective communication skills post holder will respond to telephone calls from patients and referrers, gathering information and using initiative to respond appropriately to the information received.
Post holder will liaise with clinical service teams within the organisation to ensure that patients are appropriately given information and followed up.
Post holder will also register, source and upload documents for new patients, book and reschedule appointments for all patients and process the outcomes from appointments.
Post holder will be competent in the use of the computer software RIO, including the cancellation and booking/rebooking of patients.
Post holder will receive incoming telephone calls from patients, carers, GPs, staff, other Health Care Professionals and external organisations and to be able to take appropriate action, which may involve discussion with the other members of the team.
Post holder will also support the Community Clinical Staff in carrying out administrative duties.
Main duties of the job
To manage appointments for patients, and to provide advice and information to callers about community clinical services, including criteria for eligibility and other service specific details.
To gather key information from referrers and patients etc who are calling the service, to be guided on to further questions by the information they provide.

As a specialist biomedical scientist, you will be a fully competent member of the department. As a specialist biomedical scientist, you will be a fully competent member of the department. Normally working as part of a team, you will be expected to perform a wide range of specialist clinical technical investigations. At other times you may be required to work alone and independently, for example when working on-call. In order to carry out the job sufficiently and effectively you will have successfully studied for an accredited degree in biomedical sciences, or other equivalent qualification acceptable to the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS). You will have developed a range of competencies and specialist knowledge in all aspects of the discipline through extensive practical experience, in house training and structured study through the IBMS specialist portfolio programme and will continue to develop your skills and knowledge subject to the requirements of continuous professional development (CPD). In addition, basic computer skills and use of various laboratory and Trust based databases are essential to carry out your work.

Main duties of the job
To carry out the repair, maintenance or installation of all plant, equipment, systems and building structure/fabric associated with all Trust properties. This will consist of planned preventative maintenance (PPMs), testing and calibration, fault finding, emergency response, defect correction and minor works.
You will be employed to work appropriate to your core skills around building and engineering plant and equipment maintenance. You will progressively be trained, where required, to acquire other skills with the intention of reaching levels of multi trade flexibility and competence. You will work closely with the Senior Technicians to improve planned maintenance.

Main duties of the job
- To provide high quality emergency care and minor injury treatment to patients with both primary care and acute care needs in a prison setting by playing an active part in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the patients care.
- This role requires a Registered Paramedic to work as part of a team delivering care to patients both within the Healthcare Centres and on the Wings / Houseblocks within the prison environment.
- The Registered Paramedic will work as part of a team of Primary Care Nurses within a HMP site.
- The role requires you to function autonomously and within your sphere of competency, whilst being a support and resource to less experienced members of staff. You must be able to assess patients, plan their care, administer treatment and discharge them or refer them as appropriate to other healthcare professionals / external agencies. The HMP sites are clinical facilities which require an individual to have the ability to work effectively as part of a multi professional team within a fast pace environment, in line with the protocols and policies of the local Service and CNWL, and professional bodies.

Main duties of the job

The Clinical Manager role is to provide clinical guidance and support to the Head of OH and supporting in clinical leadership to all staff in the team.
