Kneesworth Hospital is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team. This fixed-term role runs until August 2027 and offers an exciting opportunity to make a real difference as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team.
Main duties of the job
In this role, you will play a key part in patient recovery, supporting the assessment and delivery of tailored treatment plans while ensuring dignity, respect, and high standards of care.
- Develop and deliver personalised occupational therapy treatment plans to support patient recovery and wellbeing.
- Assess patient needs, deliver individual and group therapy, and maintain accurate clinical records.
- Support, supervise and mentor junior members of the occupational therapy team.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high standards of care and compliance.
- Promote occupational therapy services and contribute to the development of the local service.
- Build strong relationships with patients, families and carers, ensuring effective communication throughout rehabilitation.

Priory Hospital Kneesworth House, Royston, Hertfordshire is a level 2 rehabilitation service providing a range of specialist recovery pathways for adults within a purpose-built facility. It is accessible by public transport, with Royston railway station approximately 23 miles from the service and limited local bus links. Due to the location of the service, access to a vehicle or the ability to drive is recommended.

Job summary
We currently have opportunities in our Domestic Services Department at Llangollen Health Centre for enthusiastic, motivated individuals. The Domestic Services team have responsibility for ensuring that standards of environmental cleanliness are maintained and we are seeking additional Domestic Assistants to carry out these duties within Llangollen Health Centre. Previous experience of working within the cleaning industry will be beneficial but it is not essential as the successful candidates will receive on the job training and supervision.
The Health Board offers excellent working conditions including a generous entitlement of paid holiday, enhanced pay for weekend working and an opportunity to join the Superannuation Pension Scheme.
Permanent contracts of employment for the following post are available:
Part time post (14 hours a week) - working06:00 to 09:00 Monday to Thursday and 06:00 to 08:00 on Friday
Rates of pay are circa £13.45 per hour, with enhanced rates if work undertaken on Saturday and Sunday.

Main duties of the job
Duties may include the need to:
- Maintain standards of cleanliness of floors, furniture and fittings, as well as removal of marks from walls/partitions/doors etc in accordance with set methods, standards and frequencies.
- Operate cleaning equipment, including electrical in order to achieve the specified standards of cleanliness.
- Handling of refuse for disposal purposes.
- Replenish supplies of paper hand towels, toilet tissue, soap and hand moisturiser as required
- Monitor the stocks of cleaning materials, refuse bags, toilet tissue, paper hand towels, hand soap and hand moisturiser and request as supply as necessary.
- Organise own day to day workload within work scheduling guidelines to ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed to the set standard.
- Complete documentation to record 'full clean' completed
- Demonstrate an understanding of specified cleaning methods and frequencies.
- Communicate with Domestic Supervisors, patients, visitors, ward and departmental staff in order to achieve the specified standard of cleanliness.
- Ensure compliance with Health Board and Departmental policies, procedure and good practices.

We are looking for a Clinical Specialist Discharge Facilitator to join our Inpatient Pathway Team. The team works across both Herefordshire and Worcestershire, supporting timely and effective discharge planning for patients within our inpatient services.

This is a part-time role working 18.75 hours per week, based at New Haven Hospital, Bromsgrove. Due to the part-time nature of the post, the working pattern is negotiable. Main duties of the job
The Clinical Specialist Discharge Facilitator is responsible for leading and coordinating complex discharge planning processes for patients within Specialist Mental Health and Learning Disability inpatient services.
Working autonomously and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, community services, local authorities, commissioners, patients, families and carers, the post holder will facilitate safe, timely and least restrictive discharges that promote recovery and independence.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced support worker to join our Therapy team within the Vascular Unit at the University Hospital of Wales.
Working alongside Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists you will deliver early rehabilitation to vascular patients, enabling them to achieve their rehabilitation goals, gain independence in their activities of daily living and prevent deconditioning.
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate an interest in rehabilitation. Excellent communication skills are key in this role. It is important that you are a team player with a positive outlook, enthusiasm and ability to learn and develop new skills. Previous experience in rehabilitation in the acute hospital setting would be advantageous.
A full and comprehensive training programme will be available.
Main duties of the job
Principally to provide a service, under the direction of a registered practitioner, to the individuals within a defined area. They will work with direction to assist the registered practitioner in clinical and administrative duties following specific competency- based training.
They will independently carry out routine treatment programmes to both individuals and groups which have been delegated by a registered practitioner.
They will progress within guidelines laid down by the registered practitioner.
They will be responsible and accountable for these tasks. The postholder will work within an agreed job plan and objectives which will be reviewed yearly as part of the UHB appraisal process. They may be asked to provide treatments in other clinical areas depending on service needs.
They may be required to work their normal contracted hours flexibly in a variety of different working patterns in response to the needs of the service where they are placed. This will involve working their contracted hours as part of a 7 day job plan or working their hours over a pattern that includes extended days and unsocial hours.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Croydon Crisis Plus pilot, as an Assistant Psychologist within Croydon Adult Mental Health Services. The team works across services in the Croydon directorate whilst being based within the secondary care community mental health teams.
Under the supervision of qualified psychologists, the successful applicant will lead on the co-creation of effective multi-agency crisis plans with the highest-use service users and their care teams. The service users present with complex, sometimes challenging behaviours and acute risk in crisis. Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will support the delivery of time-limited interventions to service users, carers, and a range of mental health professionals to develop Anticipatory Management Plans. This will require comprehensive assessment of service users' developmental histories, patterns of presentation and use of crisis services from clinical documentation and consultation. This information will be used to develop guidance for service users, their carers, mental health and external agencies on how best future crises can be more effectively managed and to support the service user's recovery.
A core part of the role is liaison with services in order to refine and further develop plans, and support services to action plans. The postholder will attend MDT meetings, ward rounds, etc and needs to be confident following and, at times contributing to, multi-disciplinary clinical discussion.
There is a strong data collection, analysis and interpretation aspect to the role. Amongst other activities, this includes the collection of qualitative and quantitative outcome data from service users and the network of professionals, and developing and maintaining a number of databases linked to the identification of HIUs.

The Department is part of Berkshire and Surrey Pathology Services (BSPS), a network of six Laboratories: St Peters, Frimley Park, Royal Surrey County, Wexham Park, Royal Berkshire Hospitals and East Surrey Hospitals.
The applicant will provide comprehensive support to the pathology service, including performing a wide range of tasks across all sections of the department, namely Blood Sciences, Immunology and Virology.

Main duties of the job
- You will be expected to assist with the receipt, prioritisation and pre-analytical processing of potentially infectious samples. The successful applicant will work as a member of our existing administration team to provide full secretarial and administrative support to the ward clinical team.

Job summary
We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic, motivated, full time band 7 sonographers to join our busy, friendly Ultrasound team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. We provide a comprehensive ultrasound service to a wide range of specialities within the hospital and local GPs.
At Hammersmith Hospital, we perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations including general abdominal, gynaecological, transplant kidneys, small parts, venous and carotid Doppler and contrast enhanced microbubble scans.
At Charing Cross Hospital, we perform general abdominal, gynaecological, small parts, Testes, including Head & Neck, venous Doppler, MSK and contrast enhanced microbubble scans.
At St Mary's Hospital, we perform general abdominal, gynaecological, small parts, MSK and early pregnancy scans. We also have a busy recurrent miscarriage clinic where we provide ultrasound services to investigate for congenital uterine anomalies using 3D TV scan.
Posts are available at Hammersmith Hospital, Charing Cross Hospital and St Mary's Hospital. Sonographers are not required to rotate between sites and current working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00 but this may change in the future to provide 7-day service.
All three departments are excellent to work in, where further training and development is supported. You will be expected to work independently, however support from other sonographers and radiologists is always available and encouraged.
Main duties of the job
- To provide an efficient high quality ultrasound service comprising unsupervised scanning sessions within the trust maintaining a high standard of patient care.
- To work as an independent practitioner by performing ultrasound scans to a high diagnostic standard, formulating a report and communicating the results to the appropriate clinician and to accountable for own professional actions.
- Provide specialist advice pertaining to the ultrasound service.
- Responsible for training and supervision of all staff within the ultrasound unit.
- To be actively involved and assist with the department Audit, Research and Clinical Governance programme.
- To deputise for Superintendent Sonographer.

The West London Children's Healthcare Clinical Education Team is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced and motivated senior paediatric nurse with a strong background in general paediatric nursing care and a passion for education and practice development.
The post holder will be responsible for supporting and delivering clinical education across Great Western Ward, a 20-24-bedded general paediatric ward, Westway Day Surgery Unit and paediatric outpatient departments.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the professional development of paediatric nursing staff, promoting clinical excellence and ensuring that practice remains current, evidence-based and aligned with regulatory, professional and organisational standards.
The successful candidate will have significant clinical experience within paediatrics, with a strong interest and experience in general paediatric and Child and Adolescent Mental Health care. Ravenswood House is a medium and low secure hospital providing assessment, care and treatment for adults with serious mental illness and/or personality disorder who need to receive their care in a secure environment. We provide high quality care and treatment to 68 male adults split across five clinical wards. Most of our patients have either committed a criminal offence or have challenging behaviour. We admit patients from high secure hospitals, local psychiatric hospitals, prisons, custody, and the courts. You will need to be able to work a variety of shift patterns including nights and weekends.
Main duties of the job
To contribute where required to the provision of a 24-hour, seven day a week in-patient based service, across an acute care pathway.
Under the supervision of the Clinical Ward Manager and Charge Nurses, you are required to work according to the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code of Professional Conduct and relevant professional guidelines. You will be responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care.
Develop, implement and evaluate care plans in conjunction with service users, carers and other professionals ensuring individual needs are met. To carry out all relevant forms of care and will be designated to take charge of a ward in the absence of a charge nurse.

Southfield has a new female ward opening and provides specialist care and treatment for people with serious mental illness in a secure environment who are detained under the Mental Health Act. Main duties of the job
To contribute where required to the provision of a 24 hour, seven day a week In-patient based service, across an acute care pathway.
Under the supervision of the Clinical Ward Manager and Charge Nurses, you are required to work according to the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code of Professional Conduct and relevant professional guidelines. You will be responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care. Develop, implement and evaluate care plans in conjunction with service users, carers and other professionals ensuring individual needs are met. To carry out all relevant forms of care and will be designated to take charge of a ward in the absence of a charge nurse.

Great Ormond Street is a world-renowned tertiary referral specialist children's hospital, in the heart of Central London. We see children of all ages with a myriad of conditions, which provide for a truly interesting and varied workload in all modalities.
We are seeking to recruit Radiographers for our Diagnostic Service. This rotational position, at the core of the Service, provides a wealth of opportunity to those looking to be part of a high quality and respected department.
This role would suit those with postgraduate Radiography experience, looking to develop their specialist paediatric Radiography skills and utilise their clinical skills in a supportive and innovative department, where maintaining an excellent diagnostic service to patients and their families is key.
You will be working closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team in providing this service. Good communication skills and excellent team working abilities are essential for this post.
Applications are invited from experienced Radiographers wishing to expand their horizons and develop in an exciting and challenging role within our Radiology Department.
The Children's Cancer Centre will have an entire floor dedicated to imaging and will include state of the art technology with a CT, MRI and PET-CT scanner.

Main duties of the job
- To carry out all aspects of Paediatric Radiographic examinations as directed by the Superintendent Radiographer or senior members of staff on a rotational basis.
- To carry out all radiographic examinations as per departmental protocol set out within the Ionisation Radiation Medical Exposure Regulations 2017 guidelines and Ionising Radiation Regulations 1
- To assist with the supervision of student radiographers on study placement with the Trust.
- To assist with the induction and training of new staff in the department
- To be familiar with departmental administration systems.
- To carry out clerical duties related to radiographic work ensuring accurate data entry onto EPIC.
- To promote good working relationships and teamwork with the multi-disciplinary team within Radiology.
- To promote good working relationship with the clinical teams and ward staff to ensure patients are investigated appropriately and on time.
- To work in accordance with IRMER 2017 (2024 amendment) regulations.
- To take responsibility for the radiation protection of staff, patients and carers.
