We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Band 6 Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join our Stroke Speech and Language Therapy team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
Main duties of the job
This role offers the opportunity to work across the stroke pathway, supporting adults with complex communication and swallowing difficulties throughout rehabilitation. You will work alongside experienced Speech and Language Therapists, therapy colleagues, nurses and medical staff, playing a vital role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based stroke care and helping patients maximise recovery and independence. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys autonomous clinical practice, thrives within multidisciplinary teams and is passionate about person-centred rehabilitation. You will have opportunities to develop specialist skills in dysphagia and communication disorders, contribute to service development and quality improvement, and support the learning of students and junior colleagues. Job summary
Mental Health Recovery Team/CMHT are looking to recruit a band 6 Mental Health Transition Practitioner to support transition for young adults 18-25, into the CMHT/Recovery Team and connect the young adult to their chosen pathway and interventions.
The successful applicant will engage the young adult, carer and referrer prior to referral, where possible, and support the young adult to make informed decisions around their treatment plan and transition. The Transition Practitioner will strive to achieve the transition standards identified by NICE and will ensure the Mersey Care principles of transition are promoted.
The Transition Practitioner will become an integral member of the Community Mental Health Team/Recovery Team MDT, whilst working closely with Children and Young People services and developing a good working relationship with services across the wider system, who are also supporting 18-25 transition throughout primary care and VCFSE's.
The transition practitioner will support any new referrals in to service for any young person aged 18-25, the role will entail supporting carrying out biopsychosocial assessments and any transition in to the recovery cmht
Main duties of the job
The Transition Practitioner will work within the CMHT/Recovery but will display initiative and flexibility to support all potential referrals of young adults, 18-25 years of age. They will support young adults for a limited time period, until the young adult has successfully achieved their transition goals and begun treatment within the team. They will act as their keyworker for this period of time, helping the young adult to navigate a complex mental health system and will support in being a point of contact for the young adult and carer.
The Transition Practitioner will regular analyse the performance against the transition standards to understand where quality improvements can be made and to help shape the role across Community Mental Health Services.

The Community Mental Health Transition Practitioner will support transition for Children and Young People, aged 18-25, from Mersey Care Children and Young Persons Services (CYPS) and Alder Hey to Adult Community Mental Health Services. We are looking for an enthusiastic and patient focused Registered Nurse to join our growing Clinical Homecare Nursing Team as a Community IV Nurse.
Working in partnership with NHS teams and healthcare professionals, you will deliver specialist IV therapies and Parenteral Nutrition (PN) to patients in their own homes, helping them receive safe and effective treatment while maintaining their independence.

Main duties of the job

Bradford Institute for Health Research does large epidemiological studies and works with local communities to deliver high impact research. Our data resources include Born In Bradford (www.borninbradford.nhs.uk), our flagship birth cohort study; Born In Bradford's Better Start, which is designed to evaluate early-life interventions; BiB4All, an ongoing study of new mothers based on consented data linkage; and Connected West Yorkshire, a whole-population linked database including health, social care, and education records

Main duties of the job
We are looking to appoint a research data analyst to support the development and analysis of a the Connected West Yorkshire dataset in Bradford, a whole-population linked database including health, social care, and education records. You will be responsible for preparing data for research use, supporting colleagues to do good quality research, quantitative analysis and writing up of research papers and in the planning of new research studies. Job summary
We are pleased to invite applications to join the Training Team at National Imaging Academy Wales (NIAW). NIAW are looking for keen Sonographers Trainer to support the delivery of high-quality Radiology and Radiographic training.
The bank worker will work within the multidisciplinary NIAW team to deliver clinical ultrasound training, clinical supervision, undertake competency assessments and/or deliver simulation support at the NIAW. The bank worker will work with the team to support the delivery of the NIAW 3-year strategy.
NIAW is a state-of-the-art facility with a primary function of providing high quality training to the imaging workforce across Wales. The facility includes a 100-seat lecture theatre, two workstation classrooms, three ultrasound suites and ultrasound simulation room, all with dedicated state of the art, audio-visual equipment.
In addition to supporting training for a variety of professions, the Academy hosts corporate and CPD events, supports with the development of training courses for the Radiology workforce and acts as a natural hub for innovation and research within Radiology.

Main duties of the job
The bank worker will be a qualified and registered Radiographer or Sonographer with postgraduate training in ultrasound, demonstrating expert competence, autonomy, and up-to-date knowledge of ultrasound technology, anatomy, and clinical practice. They will undertake and interpret a range of ultrasound scans, provide high-quality reports, and offer professional advice to colleagues, trainees, and other healthcare professionals. A strong commitment to teaching, supervision, research, and continuing professional development is essential, as is the ability to contribute to the Academy's wider aims in education, innovation, and service development across NHS Wales. The role requires excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills, adherence to professional standards and governance, and responsibility for maintaining safe working practices and accurate records.

Radiology covers 3 sites; Warrington, CSTM and Halton. We also cover an Urgent Care Centre in Widnes. Radiology provides a vast array of services across all these sites and have a professional and dedicated imaging team committed to providing a first-class service to our patients and clinical users, with the service focusing upon producing high quality, technical and diagnostic images and providing excellent standards of patient care.
Diagnostic imaging is a core service at the Trust playing an extensive role in the diagnosis and treatment of illness and the identification of skeletal abnormalities. We are a busy department working 24 hours a day across 7 days per week. The department is actively involved in training students from the University of Liverpool. We also support post-graduation studies across all modalities.
New staff are fully supported with a preceptorship programme during their transition to our Trust, which ensures that you will feel confident and competent in your role.

Job summary
The Birmingham, Black Country and Solihull (BBCS) ICB Cluster is seeking a Finance Manager Acute & Community to join our Finance Directorate. Reporting to the Senior Finance Lead ,we are looking for an individual educated to degree level in a related subject (or equivalent qualification) with significant NHS financial management experience, CCAB or CIMA professional qualification or extensive practical experience to an equivalent level.

Main duties of the job
As Finance Manager Acute and Community, you will provide financial management, advice and analysis across budgets within the Acute and Community portfolio. You will support financial planning, monitoring, forecasting and reporting, enabling informed decision-making, financial control and delivery of organisational objectives.
You will manage complex financial and forecasting models, coordinate reporting, set and monitor budgets, identify cost pressures and develop mitigating actions. Working with commissioners, contracting, planning and strategic investment teams, you will support contract negotiations, financial recovery and savings plans, transformational business cases and new models of care.
The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial information, investigate variances and develop solutions. Main duties of the job
The postholder will:

An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic person to join our housekeeping team. The role will be based at Maple Lodge, located in Fishtoft on the outskirts of Boston, two miles from Pilgrim Hospital, and offers 15 mixed gender rehabilitation beds for adults.
It provides a full residential rehabilitation service to support and enable the recovery of our service users.
You will be part of a team that works closely with your colleagues to ensure that service users are cared for in a clean and comfortable environment. The role will include various cleaning duties.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a team are essential. NVQ in support services and basic food hygiene certificates are desirable, but training can be provided. Previous experience of working within a hospital/caring environment would be preferable.

Mereside Medical is a flourishing group of three East Cambridgeshire practices in Ely, Haddenham and Soham, together serving c.45,000 patients. We are the lead practice for one of the two local PCNs and are represented in both.

This prestigious designation recognises our commitment to accelerating commercial clinical research delivery for health and economic benefit across our region.
The Role
Reporting to the Practice Operations Manager, you will provide the day-to-day management and oversight of the Haddenham Patient Services team. You will be at the forefront of developing and managing your team's performance, ensuring that tasks are completed with precision and efficiency. Ensuring patient healthcare needs are met and we offer an outstanding healthcare experience to every patient. You will also actively promote innovation and embed new ways of working to enhance service quality and responsiveness to patient needs.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing support and training to the Patient Services team, ensuring processes are understood and followed and that all team members are confident and effective in their work
- To facilitate patient access to the appropriate primary care service or healthcare professional
- Ensure effective communication between patients, practice staff (both clinical and nonclinical), as well as wider members of primary and secondary care, and associated healthcare agencies
- Monitor team efficiency, report any concerns
- Embed cross team working and support
- Be able to hold regular one-to-ones with your team, addressing simple issues and liaising with the Practice Operations Manager on more complex issues
- Ensure appointments are used in the most appropriate fashion.
You should have or be:
- Excited to lead a team; keen to share your knowledge and understanding of the processes we use, and to proactively suggest simple and effective changes to streamline any unnecessarily complex processes
- Be able to lead the team effectively showing positive encouragement, support and taking ongoing training in your stride
- Service-minded, driven to help others and make the patient experience as straightforward as possible, while supporting your team in their learning, training and development
- Confident talking to patients from diverse backgrounds with diverse needs, with demonstrable experience of guiding patients through challenging conversations to a successful conclusion
- A diplomatic communicator and skilled listener, effective at representing the organisation professionally, and managing expectations of both colleagues and patient
- Knowledgeable about the compliance requirements of healthcare service delivery, the reasons behind them, and confident in ensuring these are upheld consistently
- Adaptable, responsive, and learning-minded in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
- Organised and methodical in your approach, ensuring that your own tasks and those of the team you lead are completed on time, correctly and thoroughly
It would be an advantage if you also:
- Have previous team management experience
- Have experience in using Microsoft products to run reports and interpret data.
