Reference: 2380514
Job summary
ELFT Digital Therapy (EDT) is seeking to appoint a remote-working psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to support with online triage / assessment.
Work from home, or anywhere in the UK, by taking advantage of this brand-new opportunity to join EDT, an innovative and forward-looking completely remote IAPT service, within the NHS, which places emphasis on staff wellbeing and development.
This post would be an ideal opportunity for anyone looking to gain experience of working in an IAPT environment and in gaining more experience of working in a mental health setting.
This is a chance to work flexibly, within the service hours of 8am - 8pm Mon-Thurs, and 9am - 5pm Friday, to deliver online and telephone triages and working completely remotely in supporting the work of the three community IAPT services in the East London NHS Foundation Trust (ELFT) which has been rated "Outstanding" by Care Quality Commission (CQC) and is committed to ensuring a healthy work/life balance and a positive working environment.
In-house supervision and line-management, bespoke CPD, the full resources of NHS IAPT and the support of an enthusiastic, engaged and inclusive team are just some of the benefits of joining EDT. This is an extraordinary opportunity to join a unique NHS service at ground-level and to help to shape its future, while gaining or retaining all the benefits of working for the NHS.
Main duties of the job
Although the post is offered as remote-working, the service provides regular contact in the form of online video groups and 1-2-1 meetings/'huddles' to encourage interaction within a highly supportive and caring team. We have a monthly service online meeting where everyone comes together to receive updates on issues concerning all.
EDT is looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to support service users in accessing ELFT IAPT talking therapies services. The post holder will work completely remotely completing automated online triage assessments as well as over the telephone. The successful candidate must have an awareness of common mental health presentations as well as an understanding of the stepped care model within IAPT primary care talking therapy services. Good computer literacy, excellent time management alongside a friendly telephone manner are essential requirements of this role.
EDT also delivers a range of psycho-educational and low-intensity therapeutic interventions remotely via video, telephone and typed text-based sessions, following NICE guidance, ensuring the highest quality care for our patients and supporting therapist development through excellent supervision, line-management and bespoke CPD. Our posts are formulated to allow for development of clinical expertise in appropriate clinical areas.
About us
EDT is an NHS remote IAPT service utilising the most effective features of the IAPT model, delivered via digital media, to support the work of the ELFT community IAPT services and more widely. Using familiar interfaces such as IAPTUS and Microsoft Teams, we provide high-quality therapeutic interventions to patients across London and the Home Counties.
Our mission is to make a positive difference to people's lives by improving the quality of life for all we serve. Our values are: We Care, We Respect, We are Inclusive - so we are looking for people who live and breathe these qualities when supporting service users and carers, and in their relationships with colleagues in the Trust and our partner organisations.

Reference: 2380506
Job summary
We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for two Band 6 CYP-PT CAMHS Practitioner Trainees (CBT Modality) to join City & Hackney Specialist CAMHS. One trainee will be based within the Emotional & Behavioural Team (E&B) and one within the Adolescent Mental Health Team (AMHT).
These are 12-month fixed-term training posts, commencing in January 2027, combining specialist clinical experience within CAMHS with postgraduate CBT training through UCL/Anna Freud. Trainees will spend approximately half of their working week undertaking academic teaching and study and the remainder working clinically within their allocated CAMHS team.
City & Hackney Specialist CAMHS is a large and vibrant service with a strong tradition of multidisciplinary and inter-agency working. We provide a broad range of specialist services to children, young people and families across Hackney and the City of London, working closely with colleagues across health, education, social care and the voluntary sector.
The posts offer an excellent opportunity to develop specialist CBT skills while working alongside experienced clinicians within supportive multidisciplinary teams. Trainees will work directly with children, young people and families, contributing to assessment, formulation and evidence-based interventions, including work with young people presenting with complexity and risk.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidates will join either the Emotional & Behavioural Team (E&B) or Adolescent Mental Health Team (AMHT) within City & Hackney Specialist CAMHS while completing the CYP-PT CBT training programme with UCL/Anna Freud.
This is a full-time training role, with approximately 2.5 days per week dedicated to academic teaching and study and 2.5 days based within the service undertaking clinical work.
Trainees will provide CBT interventions to children and young people and their families/carers, working with a range of mental health presentations. The role will include direct clinical work, assessment and management of complex and sometimes high-risk cases, with appropriate support from the trainee's clinical supervisor and line manager.
The postholder will work as an integral member of the multidisciplinary CAMHS team, participating in MDT meetings and wider service developments, and will liaise with partner agencies involved in the care of children and young people, including schools, social care and other community services.
Successful applicants will be both employees of the service and enrolled students with UCL/Anna Freud and will be expected to meet the academic and clinical requirements of the training programme. Successful completion leads to a UCL Postgraduate Diploma.

Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Spiritual Care Co-ordinator to join our compassionate team. This is a part-time role working 30 hours per week, based at our Hospice in Cambridge. We are happy to discuss working patterns at interview; however, the needs of the role require the successful candidate to work on Tuesdays.
As our Spiritual Care Co-ordinator, you will co-ordinate and provide spiritual, religious and pastoral care to patients, families, carers, volunteers and colleagues across our services. You will support patients approaching the end of life, undertake spiritual assessments and contribute to holistic care planning, helping us to respond sensitively to each persons individual religious, cultural and spiritual needs.
Main duties of the job
- Working as part of the PFST to facilitate reflective discussions and provide pastoral support.
- Co-ordinating volunteers and developing links with community organisations, including local faith groups.
- Facilitating prayers, blessings, rituals, memorial services and acts of worship when requested.
- Offering spiritual support to families and carers before and after a death.
- Arranging and conducting remembrance events, such as Light Up a Life and Sunflower Memories, as well as memorial services.
- Recruiting, training, supervising and supporting spiritual care and chaplaincy volunteers.
- Planning and delivering education and awareness sessions on spirituality, spiritual assessment, cultural competence, grief, bereavement and compassionate care.
To be successful in this role, you will have a good understanding of spirituality within palliative and end-of-life care, along with experience of providing spiritual, pastoral or chaplaincy support in a healthcare, hospice, community or faith setting.
You will hold a degree-level qualification in Theology, Religious Studies, Chaplaincy, Pastoral Care, Counselling, Healthcare, Social Care or a related field, or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience.
You will also need experience of conducting significant life-event ceremonies, such as marriages, and of working within and co-ordinating multidisciplinary teams.
As the role involves travel within our hospice catchment area, you will need a valid driving licence.
About us
The Patient and Family Support Team (PFST) at Arthur Rank Hospice Charity provides practical and emotional support to patients and their families. This includes psychological and social support, spiritual care, counselling, and support both before and after bereavement.
There may occasionally be a need to work outside normal hours to support events. This will always be agreed in advance, and our time off in lieu (TOIL) system ensures that any additional hours are recognised.
Please note that this post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check with Barred list checks included.
Please note that the salary quoted is based on full time hours and will be pro-ratad for part time posts. As a Charity with limited funds, it is usual practice for new starters to commence on the minimum of the salary band for the role. Exceptionally, and only for candidates demonstrating significant strengths relevant to the role, we may be able to negotiate on this.
We offer a range of benefits to our staff, including the option to retain membership to the NHS Pension scheme (subject to conditions.) Other benefits include:
- Generous annual leave entitlements
- Family friendly leave
- Access to lease car services
- Employee Assistance programmes
- Long Service Awards
- Discounts at our onsite bistro
- Access to free parking
- Ongoing training and development

Because we work across the whole county and across hospital and community settings, we can make care more joined up and easier to access for the people we serve.
Our vision is simple: we are here to help communities not just live with mental illness, but live well. It's why we're passionate about working with communities to make mental health care better for everyone. Everything we do is guided by our values: caring, inclusive, curious and confident.
