PHARMACY COUNTER ASSISTANT
The Role
We require a dependable, enthusiastic, and motivated Pharmacy Counter Assistant to deliver a high-quality, effective, and efficient patient-focused service.
Main duties of the job
Main Duties
Your daily responsibilities will include:
Providing excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors.
Taking in and handing out prescriptions safely and efficiently.
Providing basic healthcare advice and recommending over-the-counter products.
Processing transactions accurately using our point-of-sale system.
Assisting with over-the-counter stock management and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.
About You
To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills, be highly committed, and be a great team player. You should also possess excellent skills in accuracy and have a strong attention to detail.
You must hold an NVQ Level 2 Medicine Counter Assistant qualification OR be willing to undertake this training.

Bank Health Care Assistants (HCAs) are at the core of the NHS. We are looking to add to our pool of Bank HCAs who work at numerous locations across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. We are looking for applicants for all locations but would particularly welcome candidates able to work in: Loughborough, Oakham, Melton Mowbray, Market Harborough, Hinckley and Coalville. Main duties of the job
As an HCA you will support the healthcare team in the delivery of direct patient care. You will work closely with our nurses, allied health professionals and other healthcare professionals in multi-disciplinary teams. Our patients include people of all ages and we provide both physical and mental health services across our Trust sites or at home/virtually. You'll be joining our team of bank staff who provide cover across all areas of the Trust. You will work under a flexible zero-hour bank agreement and can choose from available shifts to fit round your other commitments. Shifts vary and can cover days, nights, weekends and other shifts patterns. Support and training: On commencement you will attend a trust induction and undertake mandatory classroom-based training such as basic life support, manual handing, infection control, safeguarding and more. Once you have completed the suite of mandatory training provided you will then be able to access booking onto shifts. Our Centralised Staffing Solutions Team will be on hand to support you with any queries or bookings to work on our bank. An exciting opportunity is available for an Assistant Psychologist to join the HPFT Community Child and Young People's Mental Health Service (CYPMHS) for the East Hertfordshire team, based at Rosanne House, Welwyn Garden City and Hoddesdon Health Centre.
This role is part of an established community team within the HPFT Specialist Division, focusing on the assessment and treatment of children and young people with mental health needs. The CYPMH team provides specialist assessments and evidence-based therapeutic interventions for young people in the community and offers support in collaboration with children, young people, and their families.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for maintaining service databases, entering data, generating reports on service targets, and conducting audits and evaluations in accordance with national guidelines for monitoring service delivery and clinical progress, all under the supervision of a qualified Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical/Counselling). They will also play a role in supporting the treatment of children and young people, following psychological therapy guidelines and supervision.
Regular clinical supervision will be provided. Applicants should have a recognised undergraduate degree in Psychology and be eligible for Graduate Basis for Registration with the British Psychological Society.

Job summary
The post holder will be responsible for overseeing the Audiology Service at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust, ensuring it operates effectively and efficiently to meet patient needs. This role requires an individual who is a highly qualified and experienced professional, either as an Audiologist, Hearing Therapist, or Clinical Scientist (Audiology) with a postgraduate degree.

Moreover, the postholder will be responsible for training and supervising staff within the department, creating an environment that fosters continuous learning and professional growth. They will also monitor and evaluate departmental performance against key operational metrics.

The Radiotherapy Services Manager holds principal responsibility for the strategic leadership, workforce planning, professional governance and future development of radiotherapy services across the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust (RBFT), influencing organisational cancer strategy to deliver sustainable service transformation.
The role works across departmental and organisational boundaries, engaging collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and plays a key role in supporting service development in line with Trust, regional and national cancer standards.
In collaboration with the Berkshire Cancer Centre (BCC) Senior Leadership Team the post holder will develop radiotherapy services in line with changes in technology, professional recommendations, the NHS England National Cancer Plan and the Trust's strategy and priorities.
As a member of the BCC Senior Leadership Team, the RTSM will actively participate in meetings to plan the organisation, delivery and development of all aspects of the radiotherapy service to provide patient-centred, effective and coordinated care to cancer patients.
Main duties of the job
- Hold standing as the most senior therapeutic radiographer within RBFT and provide strategic, professional and operational leadership for all radiotherapy services. Act as the Trust's principal expert advisor for radiotherapy, influencing organisational strategy, workforce planning, clinical governance, service transformation and regional cancer system developments.
- Provide visible and inspirational professional leadership for the radiotherapy workforce, creating a high-performance culture that promotes innovation, continuous improvement, research, education and professional excellence.
- Be accountable for the operational management of radiotherapy services across both Royal Berkshire Hospital (RBH) and Bracknell Healthspace sites, ensuring that services are modern, standardised and developed to meet current and future demands.

An exciting opportunity has arisen due to service expansion for 1 Reproductive Technologist to join our laboratory team at Cambridge IVF (Cambridge site). This state of the art NHS fertility centre offers a comprehensive range of diagnostic and clinical treatment services and encompasses the regional diagnostic andrology service for Cambridgeshire and the surrounding area, with capacity for up to 7000 semen analyses per annum.
Cambridge IVF is without doubt one of the most forward thinking units in the UK and with a commitment to high level research and development. Coupled with our links into existing local research groups, this is a very exciting time to be joining our team.
Applicants should possess a First or Second Class Biological Sciences degree. A relevant postgraduate qualification and laboratory experience are highly desirable but full training will be provided to all successful candidates. You will have the opportunity to work across our Andrology and Embryology Laboratories to a UKAS accredited standard in accordance with the requirements of ISO15189:2022 and in accordance with the HFEA Code of Practice for fertility centres.
The position will require some weekend, bank-holiday and out of hours work on a rotational basis.

A committed member of a dedicated team of laboratory scientists and technicians. Working to the highest standards of clinical excellence to contribute to our patient focused fertility service.
You will mainly be responsible for performing a range of diagnostic procedures within the Diagnostic Andrology laboratory. There may be scope for the opportunity to apply for an In-Service Trainee (IST) post on the National Scientific Training Programme (STP) positions for Andrology or Embryology.

We are looking to recruit a band 5 occupatonal therapist to our rotational scheme on a fixed term contract. Our rotations are based at both The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital Trust sites including the following specialty areas: Stroke (hyper acute and acute rehabilitation), Frailty at the front door (ED and AMU), Cardiology, Endocrinology, Care of the Elderly, Respiratory, Orthopaedics and Surgery including amputees.

Main duties of the job

When joining our team you will be welcomed to attend our band 5 trust preceptorship programme and in-house training scheme, as well as receive learning specific to each rotational specialty area.
Throughout each rotation you will be supported by your named supervisor who will also be a specialist in your rotational clinical area. Your supervisor will enable you to develop skills to work independently as well as alongside other therapy and MDT colleagues.

We are looking for an experienced Admin Assistant to come and join our unit in Bournemouth on a part time basis . As the Admin Assistant you will be responsible for completing all administrative and client support tasks within the unit, supporting clients through their episode of care.
This unit-based role is working 15 hours per week on a Monday, Thursday and Friday. A detailed shift pattern and salary information can be found below in the further information section.
About You
You will have strong experience of working within an office environment, where you have carried out administration duties. You will be an excellent communicator both internally and externally and will demonstrate a friendly and positive attitude when interacting with clients, colleagues, and external parties.
Main duties of the job
- Answer and direct telephone queries, liaising with both internal and external colleagues, as necessary.
- Accurately check or complete BPAS and legal paperwork, ensuring all relevant documentation is available for the clients episode of care.
- Monitor, edit and amend appointment list, using as appropriate BPAS booking system, informing clients if changes to their appointment become necessary.
- Assist in the monitoring, control and ordering of stock, sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare and dispatch statistical information and reports.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a compassionate and motivated NMC registered Mental Health Nurse to join our Community Mental Health Service in Bridgwater on a 12 month secondment or fixed term contract.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 radiographer to join the existing MRI Team.
Staff must be happy to work on the CRH and HRI sites and Huddersfield CDC.

We currently have five MRI scanners for the Trust, two new Phillips scanners on the CRH site, and on the Huddersfield site a new Philips 1.5 and a 3T being installed this year. The Trust has a CDC in Huddersfield with another new Philips 1.5
We provide both an out-patient and in-patient service including a very wide range of examinations such as cardiac, vascular, obstetric and paediatric via GA and distraction.You will be working in a busy environment, on a flexible hours rota, across both sites.
You will be required to work both within the team and autonomously. You should have excellent communication skills and be committed to providing a high standard of care.
