Job summary
We are looking for a dietitian to work in a PCN in Wolverhampton. This is a fixed-term maternity cover cover role. The dietitian has to work in-person.
We support and help dietitians become first contact dietitians (FCDs).
First Contact Dietitians are qualified autonomous clinical practitioners working in GP practices who can assess, diagnose, treat, and manage dietetic problems and undifferentiated conditions, and where appropriate, to discharge a person without a medical referral.
FCDs are a key multidisciplinary team member in primary care and support reducing GP workload. FCDs working in this role can be accessed directly by self-referral or staff in GP practices can direct patients to them to establish a rapid and accurate management plan to streamline pathways of care.
Main duties of the job
The dietitian will be a highly skilled, senior practitioner able to operate at an advanced level of clinical practice, with expert knowledge in the management of patients dietary issues and conditions. They will work as an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team (MDT) within the PCN.
The dietitian will provide person centred interventions for the patient from initial clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of their care within set patient groups. They will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care for patients within the general practice. They will work collaboratively with the general practice MDT to meet the needs of patients, support the delivery of policy and procedures, and provide dietetic leadership as required.
The role requires the dietitian to work in-practice, and work closely with a forward thinking and passionate multi-disciplinary team.
The PCN is looking for a dietitian who can support their patients with:
- Knowledge and expertise around diabetes is essential
- Experience with weight management
- Frailty and nutrition support
- Experience with conducting groups

Due to staff changes we are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic Health Care Assistant to join our team. Milton Keynes CAMHS is a Tier 3 specialist multi-disciplinary service, incorporating the Single Point of Access (referrals), Core CAMHS (with a mood and anxiety pathway), and an ADHD pathway. The specialist service works closely with the Liaison & Intensive Support (crisis and home treatment) team, Mental Health Support Team (schools-based support), and the Looked After Children service, as well as other partners in education, social care and the third sector. The Principal Psychologist will join a Lead Consultant Psychologist and a Consultant in Looked After Children team, and Senior Psychologists as well as Family, Arts, CBT and EMDR therapists in delivering specialist psychological care to a diverse range of young people with moderate to severe mental health difficulties and their carers and networks.
With other operational staff, the post holder will contribute to the development and delivery of psychological care; overseeing pathways and waiting lists, innovating where flexibility and creativity are required, and supporting and developing staff in a containing and empowering way. They will play a key role in the strategic development of services, translating policy into practice and ensuring high quality of care.

- To develop, co-ordinate and ensure the systematic provision of a psychology service to children and young people (CYP) with mental health difficulties, and personally provide highly specialist clinical input, predominantly in core CAMHS but also across the whole service.

Job summary
The service is run by a friendly team of 19 sonographers who rotate through General and Obstetrics departments with 12 cross-site Ultrasound Radiology Assistants. The services are run over 3, accessible sites, Eastbourne District General Hospital, Conquest Hospital and a brand-new state of the art Community Diagnostic Centre in Bexhill.
We run a range of out-patient appointment lists, in-patient services on the acute sites, and a range of one stop clinics including Early Pregnancy Assessment, Gynae, Breast Triple Assessment and Obstetric clinics, using 18 high-end ultrasound machines, which the Trust supports a timely machine replacement scheme for. We have two new reporting systems in the department, recently upgrading SECTRA PACS and ViewPoint 6 for reporting.
The ultrasound team work closely with our friendly, and supportive Radiologists and Obstetricians who promote specialist training in: Breast (including breast intervention), Head & Neck, Paediatrics (including baby hips and cranial), MSK (including interventional procedures), orbits and small parts. At ESHT we encourage and support our team to advance their ultrasound skills to include these areas. The department also actively supports training of registrars, sonographer and radiographer students.
Additionally, the ultrasound department provides opportunities for CPD, external courses and extension of administrative roles including QA, clinical audits, education officer, H&S, and managerial duties.
Main duties of the job

The successful candidates would be expected to participate in the weekend and evening rota; however, a degree of flexibility is possible with many of our Sonographers working compressed hours to allow a 3- or 4-day working week.
You should be able to perform a comprehensive range of examinations including general abdominal, obstetrics (including Nuchal Translucency scanning) and gynaecology. Vascular (including Carotids and DVT scanning) and small parts.
You will be expected to work independently and issue your own reports. We welcome applications from obstetric only sonographers. CPD is actively encouraged.

Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for an innovative and enthusiastic Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our highly regarded Surrey Perinatal mental health service.
The role is for our NW team based in Chertsey. We offer a range of therapeutic modalities including CBT, EMDR, Systemic Couples therapy, IPT, CFT, and ACT, and this role would be suitable for anyone interested in transgenerational patterns of trauma, attachment and parent and infant mental health. Our MDT consists of highly skilled, and psychologically minded professionals including Psychiatrists, perinatal mental health nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, peer support workers and nursery nurses.
We are accredited by the Royal College of Psychiatrists, highlighting the excellent and specialised care provided by the service. Our service aims to provide specialist and early help to parents and babies to help with a range of perinatal mental health issues. We are also involved in shaping trauma informed care in the perinatal period and thinking across wider services.
You will be one of a team of Psychologists who work in the three teams, we regularly meet for reflective practice and specialist supervision and have excellent training opportunities including opportunities to access specialist training such as EMDR, to develop an area of specialist interest and one's own style of working. Staff well-being and development are at the heart of our ambitions.
Main duties of the job
This Part time role involves providing individual and systemic support to women and their families within the community. The focus will be on delivering formulation based and NICE recommended psychological interventions to women with moderate to severe mental health difficulties who are pregnant or within 12 months of the postnatal period.
You will be responsible for supervision of Psychologists within the team and contribute to the supervision, consultation and training of the wider MDT.
We have a thriving group program which you will contribute to, and we welcome development of innovative clinical practice in all areas of our work. You will receive regular management and clinical supervision, and reflective practice, and will have support and supervision from the senior psychologist within the team.
All candidates should be registered with the HCPC, and eligible for BPS Chartered Status. The ability to work across Surrey is essential and a car is required.

We are seeking one Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacy Technicians to join us.
Pharmacy technicians are a vital part of the pharmacy team. They work under the supervision of the pharmacist to ensure the safe running of the pharmacy and make sure patients get the most from their medicines. The role will enable successful candidates to undertake the necessary training and development to register as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
Our Pre-registration Pharmacy Technician Apprentices undertake a 2-year distance learning training programme with the University of East Anglia with lots of support from our dedicated and experienced training team. You will attend a virtual training to study for the coursework for your Certificate of Higher Education in Pharmacy Technician Practice.
To be eligible to apply for the Pre-registration Pharmacy Technician, you will need 4 GCSE's at grade C/4 or above including Maths, English and science (or a combined science award with one qualification at C/4 or above plus another GCSE). Maths and English Functional skills levels 2 can also be accepted. Pharmacy experience is not essential but would be desirable but a NVQ2 in pharmacy is not an alternative to the academic requirements above. Based in a busy office environment, this is an opportunity to work with the library team. The important task of filing case notes will be yours, should you choose to accept it. Due to external funding we are delighted to be able to offer a fixed term opportunity to work as part of the innovative Head and Neck Cancer Speech and Language Therapy Team (SLT) in CTMUHB.
You will play a key role in an exciting new service development project implementing and evaluating late effects dysphagia provision. This will involve working with key stakeholders from primary and secondary care to ensure seamless care. Your skills will be utilised to develop resources to support referrers and also to support patient self-management.
There will also be opportunities to deliver elements of care along the cancer pathway from prehabilitation through to survivorship with the opportunity to develop skills in objective dysphagia assessment (VFSS) and Surgical voice Restoration (SVR).
The Head and Neck Cancer SLT team is a well established, experienced team and you will receive an excellent robust professional supervision programme. The service is embedded within the Head and Neck Cancer MDT with close working relationships, with a significant number of clinics being joint clinics with CNS and dietetic/MDT colleagues.
Main duties of the job
To work with the Clinical Lead/Senior Management Team to ensure the provision of a high-quality service for Head and Neck Cancer services for adults with communication and swallowing problems resulting from their head and neck cancer diagnosis and/or treatment.
To provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment and advice for adults with communication and swallowing difficulties in in-patient, out-patient and community settings with close MDT working, often working jointly with dietetic and CNS colleagues.
To contribute to clinical teams both multi-disciplinary and uni-disciplinary by discussing own and others input around clients' needs ensuring a well-co-ordinated care plan.
You will be managed by the clinical lead of this service.

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate clinician to deliver high-quality, evidence-based assessment, intervention and consultation for adults experiencing eating disorders. This is an exciting time to join the service as our Occupational Therapy pathway continues to evolve, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to service development, innovation and quality improvement alongside our Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist.
Our Occupational Therapy practice is underpinned by the Model of Human Occupation (MOHO), providing a strong occupation-focused framework for assessment, intervention and clinical reasoning. We are also strengthening the integration of occupational science, neuroscience and evidence-based practice to ensure contemporary, recovery-focused care.
As part of a supportive Occupational Therapy leadership structure, you will benefit from regular professional and clinical supervision, access to specialist eating disorder training, professional development opportunities, communities of practice, leadership and quality improvement initiatives, and profession-specific CPD events. You will also have opportunities to contribute to service development, research and innovation.
Main duties of the job
This role is ideal for an Occupational Therapist who is passionate about enabling people to reconnect with meaningful occupations, supporting recovery, and developing specialist skills within eating disorders. - To communicate effectively with people who access services, carers, the multi-disciplinary team and when appropriate outside agencies.
- To contribute to the generic functioning of the team.
- To provide supervision and mentoring to more junior occupational therapists, occupational therapy apprenticeships, support workers and activities coordinators (as appropriate)
- To provide occupational therapy student placements.
- To contribute to service development and audits.
- To take on the role of lead professional as appropriate.
