We are seeking an experienced and motivated highly specialist Clinical Psychologist to join our Paediatric Psychology Service in an exciting split role working across General Paediatrics, Paediatric Oncology and Tuberous Sclerosis (TS - a lifespan service).
This is a rewarding opportunity to work alongside multidisciplinary teams, supporting children, young people and their families at every point from diagnosis onwards.
You will provide highly specialist psychological assessment, formulation and evidence-based intervention for children and young people experiencing the emotional, behavioural and psychological impact of physical illness. You will work collaboratively with families and professionals to improve adjustment, coping, treatment adherence and quality of life.
Paediatric Clinical Psychologist (Band 8a - will consider Band 7 depending on experience, with a supported development plan)
General Paediatrics, Paediatric Oncology and Tuberous Sclerosis service (0.7 or 3.5 days/ week)
Main duties of the job
Working across General Paediatrics, Paediatric Oncology and TS you will work as an integral member of the multidisciplinary teams to support children and young people with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, contributing psychological expertise in outpatient and inpatient settings and providing psychological care from diagnosis onwards.
The role offers excellent opportunities to influence service development and innovation. You will provide consultation to multidisciplinary colleagues, deliver teaching and training, supervise trainee and assistant psychologists, and support psychologically informed care across children's services.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing and improving the psychological wellbeing of children and young people living with physical health conditions; has excellent assessment, formulation and intervention skills with children, young people and families and enjoys working collaboratively within multidisciplinary medical teams, while also able to work independently.
In return, we offer a small but supportive team of psychologists working across children's services, regular supervision, opportunities for CPD, service development and leadership.

As a Senior Estates & Facilities Manager, you will play a vital role in helping NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) deliver services that save and improve lives. You will lead the safe, efficient operation of a critical blood centre, ensuring facilities, infrastructure and support services perform at their best. Main duties of the job
In this role you will be responsible for managing the effective and efficient provision of a wide range of estates and facilities services at the blood centre, in line with national standards and to meet the needs of customers. Your key responsibilities will include:

About you:
You will be an experienced nurse and strong patient advocate with extensive knowledge of haematology.
Ideally, you will already hold qualifications in physical assessment and non-medical prescribing, enabling you to run nurse-led assessment clinics. However, if you do not yet have these qualifications, you will be willing to undertake them at pace to support the service.
Main duties of the job
The Macmillan Haematology Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) will play a key role within the Haematology Multidisciplinary Team, providing expert clinical input and leading the assessment and planning of care for patients with haematological malignancies and their families.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing specialist expertise in the care of patients with haematological cancers, with a particular focus on Myeloma, while also contributing to care across the broader haematology CNS service.
- Practising autonomously, using advanced skills to assess, manage, and support patients, and confidently leading complex clinical situations.
- Offering clinical guidance, supervision, and training to peers and junior staff, supporting a skilled and confident workforce.
- Ensuring service quality and sustainability by actively monitoring, evaluating, and contributing to the development of haematology services across the Trust.
- Working collaboratively with the line manager, Cancer Lead Nurse, and other CNS colleagues to support the development and delivery of nursing strategy across Oncology/Haematology and the wider organisation.

Working closely with radiographers, radiologists and multidisciplinary colleagues, you will support the delivery of a wide range of diagnostic imaging services while providing excellent care and reassurance to patients.
As a member of the support team, you will combine hands-on patient care with administrative, technical and procedural responsibilities. You will assist with imaging examinations, manage and prepare equipment, support the effective use of Radiology Information Systems (RIS) and Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), and help maintain smooth day-to-day department operations.
You will be confident working independently within established protocols, using your judgement and initiative to prioritise tasks and respond to patient and service needs. Your knowledge of imaging examinations and procedures will enable you to answer patient queries, support colleagues and contribute to the delivery of a high-quality, patient-centred service.
Main duties of the job
Undertake initial patient identification and screening checks, escalating any concerns.
Assist with patient transfers, positioning and manual handling.
Support vulnerable patients and those with additional needs.
Prepare examination rooms and set up equipment for complex and interventional procedures.
Assist practitioners with aseptic and clean techniques.
Check emergency equipment availability and functionality.
Clear and decontaminate equipment after procedures.
Remove cannulas and undertake cannulation where trained and authorised.
Prepare PPE and patient-handling equipment such as hoists.

Job summary
Come and make a real difference by joining our dedicated nursing team on the Medlock Unit, based within the brand-new Dyson Cancer Centre at the RUH.
We are looking for a kind, compassionate and motivated nurse to join our passionate, highly skilled multi-professional team. This role is ideal for someone with a genuine interest in developing or enhancing their competency in Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT).
Within the Medlock Unit, you will have the opportunity to broaden your skills and knowledge while supporting patients receiving SACT and other supportive treatments in an acute cancer setting. You will receive a tailored induction programme, including visits to adjacent areas within the department, followed by completion of the SACT Competency Passport within six months.
We are committed to supporting your ongoing development. Once established in post, you will be encouraged to shape your career direction, with a range of Cancer Care qualifications available to support both your professional progression and the evolving needs of the service.
As our service expands into the community, the role will also include working at Frome Community Hospital when required. Staff will travel from the RUH to the satellite unit at Frome Medical Practice using a Trust fleet car, with travel time paid to support fairness and work-life balance.

Main duties of the job
Carry out specialised programmes of care and related tasks/duties which have been pre-selected and appropriately delegated by a qualified member of staff.
Carry out assessments/therapeutic interventions that do not require specialist skills of a Physiotherapist/ Occupational Therapist, but demands greater skills, knowledge, experience and training than that of an Assistant.
Expected to report to the qualified members of the team for redirection and advice as necessary or as per protocols/guidelines
Adequately structured specialist training will have been provided by appropriate qualified staff prior to undertaking these assignments, for which the assistant has been judged fully 'competent' to perform by a qualified member of staff.

Job summary
We are looking for a Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist to work across our acute general wards and stroke/neuro-rehabilitation units, providing assessment and intervention for adults with communication and swallowing difficulties. You will manage a varied caseload, with support and supervision from senior Speech and Language Therapists, developing your clinical skills in working with patients with acquired conditions including stroke, neurological disorders, frailty, and acute medical presentations.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT), you will contribute to patient assessment, rehabilitation planning, and discharge processes, helping to ensure safe and effective care throughout the patient pathway. You will provide communication and swallowing interventions appropriate to your level of competence, support patients and carers, and work closely with colleagues across the acute and rehabilitation settings.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in dysphagia, stroke, and neuro-rehabilitation within a supportive team. You will receive regular supervision, access to continuing professional development opportunities, and support to build competence and confidence in delivering high-quality Speech and Language Therapy services.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone motivated and compassionate to join our dedicated inpatient Trauma & Orthopaedic Therapy team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, based on the main Royal Devon & Exeter hospital site (Wonford). We have two permanent, full-time (37.5 hours) Senior Allied Health Professional Support Worker positions available.
The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust has a passion for pursuing perfection across all areas of its services. We are a welcoming Trust, focussed on valuing a persons differences and encouraging them to grow and flourish in their role in healthcare and is set in one of the most beautiful areas of the UK.
This role involves providing a range of therapeutic interventions, treatments and exercise programmes to patients and liaising with patients and family / carers in discharge planning and prevention of falls.
The post-holder will be expected to identify and support the physical limitations of a patients disability and their functional problems to support the therapy team to deliver early routine assessments and rehabilitation. There will be a requirement to develop strong links with the multidisciplinary teams working in the acute and community settings. The caseload will primarily be patients recovering from traumatic injury who require rehabilitation to support them to be discharged home or to their normal place of residence but will also include those recovering from planned orthopaedic surgery. There will be a strong Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy focus within the role and an expectation to support both professions on a daily basis.
The role requires a fortnightly working pattern.
Week A: Monday Friday 08:15-16:30
Week B: Tuesday Saturday 08:15-16:30
Bank holidays will be allocated on a rota basis. The post holder will work flexibly in other areas of Physiotherapy if required.

The Preceptorship and Clinical Supervision Manager

You will provide engaging, tailored play sessions based on each child's interests, delivered within the comfort of their home. The role also involves sensitive work within palliative and end-of-life care contexts, including memory-making activities and pre and post bereavement support for siblings.

The post holder will be responsible for providing clinic administration and reception support for the Bolton Community Mental Health Team. This will include receiving and greeting service users and their carers into clinic areas whilst recording the service users' attendance and clinical outcome on the electronic patient record system (EPR), along with other administrative duties commensurate to the grade.
The post holder will be interactive with the general public, nursing, medical staff, professionals and other Trust administrative and clerical staff and will ensure all reception processes are carried out in a timely and accurate manner to ensure an efficient reception and quality service to all users.
The reception service opening hours are at present, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. A flexible approach to working is essential.
In order to meet the needs of the Trust services you may be required, from time to time, to work outside of your normal area of work to cover absence / sickness. The Trust reserves the right to change your normal area of work to any other location within the Bolton Trust services.

Be the first point of contact for all visitors and callers to the unit. Managing all calls and queries appropriately in a professional manner and re-directing as appropriate. Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Manchester Neighbourhood Mental Health Team as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner.
The team is developing to meet the needs of people with complex and serious mental health challenges in a neighbourhood setting.
You will be supported by the MDT including staff from GMMH and VCSE organisations.
Main duties of the job
The Advanced Clinical Practitioner will work within a trauma informed model to engage and offer a specialist service to the service users referred to and under the care of the Manchester NMHT. This would include attendance at clinical multi-disciplinary team meetings, facilitating clinic appointments both out in the community and in a clinic setting, commencing and maintaining medication regimes, completing appropriate Paris documentation, and being a part of the Senior Leadership Team.
The ACP will be responsible for assessment, formulation and prescribing of care planning in line with the service Standard Operating Procedure and agreed protocols and pathways. The post holder will be recognised as an expert practitioner and will advise the Multi-Disciplinary team on expert, safe and effective models of care and treatment.
They will provide clinical leadership and management leading to the provision of safe, quality and effective care. They will also lead on Physical Healthcare agenda for the service and will support the improvement of workforce knowledge through education and training programme. They will support with the ongoing development of the service and developing and maintaining good relationships across the Manchester mental health system.
The post holder may additionally lead on practice and service developments. The post holder is required to demonstrate clinical and practice expertise via interventions, supervision and modelling good practice.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has come up for an experienced mental health practitioner to fulfil a 6 month secondment (with view to extend based on service need) as the Clinical Lead/Team Manager for GMMH's Recovery Pathways Service.
This post is a full time position (37.5 hours per week) and the working hours will be 9am - 5pm 5 days per week . The Hub is currently operational Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm so flexible working can be discussed. The post is based at the Zion Centre. The post holder will be expected to travel across Manchester.
This post includes participation in the Bronze on call rota.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for connecting Recovery Pathways with wider clinical services within GMMH, promoting and ensuring equitable access to all service users.
The post holder will support and manage staff to deliver quality services, overseeing the referral process, service standards, outcome monitoring and individuals and service performance. Supervising and managing a multi-disciplinary team of staff, the post holder will lead and develop the service in line with local and national guidelines and emerging evidence based practice. They will undertake service planning, implement changes to practice and policy within the service; and lead on the implementation of systems and processes that will deliver a socially inclusive, recovery focussed service in liaison with the Service Manager.
The post holder will apply their clinical knowledge of recovery focussed interventions, of teaching, of mental health, of moving on (discharge planning), of socially inclusive practice and of partnership working. The post holder will direct the promotion and networking of the services in liaison with senior management, including delivering presentations and training to external and internal bodies where appropriate. The post holder will ensure the service both creates and stems from a firm evidence-base.
