Job summary
We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Administrator to provide administrative support and reception duties to our team.
We are based at the heart of Peterborough City Centre at Town Hall, near the Bus & Train stations, providing convenient transport links. This position requires working on-site only, with no work-from-home option.
Working hours:
Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri - 09:00 - 17:00Alternate Wednesday: 09:00 - 14:20
Although the role has set working days, we are also looking for someone who can be flexible and help provide cover during staff absences.
Main duties of the job
Your main duties will be meeting and greeting Service Users, updating our patient electronic system, answering calls, some of which might be of a sensitive nature. You will need be empathetic, with a natural drive to help and find an answer to patients' enquiries.
Admin duties will include sending appointment letters, printing letters, scanning & uploading documents, manning mailboxes, dealing with room bookings, booking appointments, formatting letters, ordering stationery, sorting post etc. In order to do well in this role, you will need to be a team player with good communication and IT skills, able to multitask and work under pressure and more than anything else, you will put patients at the heart of everything we do.

Solar provides specialist mental health support to children and young people (0-18 years) experiencing a range of emotional, behavioural and psychological difficulties. We are recruiting to an Assistant Psychologist post within Solar TEDS (The Eating Disorder Service).
This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience working within a psychologically informed multidisciplinary team supporting children, young people and families with eating disorders.
The role will involve supporting the assessment of young people referred to the service, offering low level psychological interventions, providing meal support, helping with the delivery of groups and workshops, inputting outcome measures, contributing to service developments, service evaluation and audit and supporting the clinical/administrative functions of the team. The post holder will work closely with clinical psychologists and the wider MDT.The post holder may also be required to work flexibly across teams within Solar in response to service need, development opportunities and the needs of children, young people and families.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will support the delivery of psychologically informed care within TEDS, working alongside clinical psychologists and the wider multidisciplinary team to support children, young people and families with eating disorders.
The Assistant Psychologist will assist with psychological assessments, support formulation-informed interventions, contribute to group work, and help collect and record outcome measures. The role will also involve preparing clinical materials, and supporting service development activities.
The post will be based in TEDS at Freshfields Clinic in Knowle, and may include travel to other bases and home visits where required. The post holder will work under the supervision of a qualified Clinical Psychologist and may be expected to work flexibly across teams in response to service need. We are looking for motivated, reflective psychology graduates with strong communication and organisational skills, experience working with children or vulnerable groups, and an interest in mental health, eating disorders and neurodevelopmental needs. The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team is essential.

The Learning Disabilities Team is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist to join the Team. The team is part of the Children and Young People's Division of the Trust and works across two main clinical pathways: behaviours that challenge and mental health, for young people with a moderate to profound Learning Disability aged 0-19 years. We also offer neurodevelopmental assessment and diagnosis for those children known to our service who demonstrate behaviours indicative of either Autism and/or ADHD and where this assessment is required to better understand the behaviours of concern they show and/or their mental health difficulties. We work directly with the young people and their families and liaise closely with schools, social care and other health professionals supporting them. We offer parent psychoeducation groups, as well as consultation and training for colleagues across the division. All team members are offered training in specialist assessment and intervention as well as regular CPD events to enhance clinical practice.
Main duties of the job
- Providing highly specialist psychological assessment and intervention to clients and their families as well as offering indirect clinical services such as advice and consultation to colleagues and other professionals.
- Involvement in service planning and development, this will include identifying need and participating in development plan processes.
- Contribute to the development of the Team offer.
- Staff support and supervision, and facilitation of client related work undertaken by other team members.
- Staff training.
- Applied research and development related to the needs of the client served and the Children and Young People's Division.

To be responsible for the podiatric assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, delivery and evaluation of biomechanical interventions, which may involve:
Strengthening and stretching exercise programs.
Strapping techniques.
Neurological assessment.
Advanced casting techniques
Prescription, chairside manufacture, issue and evaluation of a wide range of orthotic devices.
Steroid Injections.
Liaison with DCHS Podiatric Surgery and Interdisciplinary Wound Clinic.
To follow uni and multi professional guidelines on evidence-based practice in the care of patients with biomechanical pathologies and in the care of patients with diabetes and other medical conditions which may impact on foot health.
Tobe actively involved in the provision of foot health education and advice to patients, relatives and carers and to participate in foot health training where appropriate.
To participate in the observational placement of Student Podiatrists and other Health Professionals.
To follow Departmental and Trust Policies and Procedures and Guidelines but have the discretion to make own clinical diagnosis and decisions within professional guidelines. To be responsible for the maintenance of high standards of clinical hygiene, stock and equipment control within the premises used for work.

This is an opportunity for an Assistant/Associate Practitioner in Mammography to join our friendly and motivated multidisciplinary team at the Cheshire & Stockport Breast Screening Programme. Main duties of the job
To provide a high quality mammography service as part of the NHSBSP (National Health Service Breast Screening Programme) and Symptomatic Service under the supervision of a qualified mammographer.
Work within achieved competencies to agreed protocols and towards further competencies which may be in a wider diagnostic modality as dictated by departmental workload.
To provide assistance to Radiologists, Radiographers and other staff in all areas of the department.
Screening and symptomatic services are offered at the Macclesfield Breast screening center, with 3 Siemens digital mammography sets, two with stereotactic biopsy and tomosynthesis attachment.
You will need to have a flexible approach to service provision which will involve evening and weekend clinics at the Breast Screening Centre at Macclesfield and Mobile Van sites. Travel is essential to this role, so please demonstrate how you would meet these requirements. A genuine occupational qualification applies to these posts under section 6 of the Sex Discrimination Act of 1975 and therefore they are restricted to female applicants only.
Mobile screening in Stockport is provided on a mobile van with Siemens digital mammography.

This role is based in the Cambridge area . You would be working as part of a multidisciplinary team providing high quality rehabilitation to patients with physical disabilities in their home environment.
Main duties of the job

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate clinician to join our perinatal psychology team, to deliver specialist care across HIOWH. Our team supports people experiencing mental health difficulties related to pregnancy, birth and the first 2 years after their baby is born. The post-holder will:
*Assess and formulate the mental health needs of patients experiencing or recovering from severe mental health difficulties in the perinatal period including depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD & complex PTSD, EUPD, bipolar affective disorder and psychosis.
*Provide evidence-based psychological therapy (individual and group), as outlined by the NICE Guidelines and Quality Standards Pathway for Antenatal and Postnatal Mental Health Care.
*Offer specialist consultation and psychological supervision for members of the MDT, support with complex formulation at a team level and support clinical decision making.
*Deliver education and training for staff supporting families across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

Integrated Pathology Solutions LLP is an innovative joint-venture pathology service between Airedale NHS Foundation Trust, Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking for, full- time Medical Laboratory Assistants (Band 3) to work as part of the Histopathology Department at Airedale General Hospital and Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Main duties of the job
The selected candidates will undertake a period of training and supervision to enable a competent level of skill in a multitude of tasks to be achieved. These tasks will include the embedding and microtomy of tissue samples as well as the performance of special staining. The candidates will also be expected to engage in digital pathology. There will also be a requirement to support a variety of clinical personnel during tissue dissection. Further duties will include the organisation of Multi-Disciplinary Meetings (MDT) in con junction with clinical colleagues both within the department and the wider hospital. There will also be a requirement to support the referral of material to external laboratories. These duties may vary depending on the site location.
In addition to technical skills the candidates should be able to demonstrate a keen willingness to work within the team and be able to input into service improvement as needed.

A day in the life of a Deputy Manager
As Deputy Manager you will be responsible for leading the care team to ensure that the care delivered to our resident is safe, supportive and person-centred.
You will ensure that these needs are regularly reviewed to ensure they meet their current requirements, and ensurethe general standards of hygiene and cleanliness and equipment are maintained for their safety and wellbeing.
You will support to the Registered Manager in the day to day running of the home, assuming full capacity in their absence.
A typical day could include:
- Induction of new team members and the supervision and support to existing team members
- The completion of care audits to ensure good practice and trigger reviews in care provision for residents as needs change. Your care plans would be person-centred, with focus on dignity and individuality
- Liaising with family members, care professionals, social workers and the residents themselves to ensure a holistic and transparent care provision.
- Monitor, report and investigate risks and events of safeguarding concern or harm and ensure processes are in place to mitigate and/or avoid these risks
- Ensuring administrative records such as daily care notes, medication charts and meeting notes are up to date.

NWLP is a partnership between Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, Chelsea & Westminster NHS Trust and The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Trust.Thepartnership delivers pathology testing in a modern, efficient operation that manages 65 million tests per year. Our services are delivered at seven hospital sites across North West London.
The Clinical Biochemistry Service, one of the largest in the UK, provides core services in automated laboratories on each site with specialist services centralised at Charing Cross Hospital. Specialist services, including a number of SAS centres, are Endocrinology (including LC-MSMS), Trace Elements, Tumour Markers, Metabolic Biochemistry, Special Proteins and the DEQAS vitamin D EQA programme; all have strong Clinical Scientist leadership.
Our 8a clinical scientists are based at Charing Cross hospital and typically spend one day each week as Duty Biochemist dividing their remaining time between two or more of our specialist services where they will receive full training, develop their expertise and contribute to service development.
The successful applicant should be state registered and actively working towards FRCPath part 1 (if not already obtained) with post registration experience in all areas of routine biochemistry. We would particularly like to encourage applications from candidates with experience or a specialist interest in renal calculi (FTIR) and HPLC analysis. The post will also cover porphyrin and reducing substances screening.
Main duties of the job
- Contribute to the delivery of specialist assays in collaboration with laboratory staff.
- Provide clinical advice and interpretation of results, under appropriate supervision,working alongside senior clinical and scientific staff, including participation in the ClinicalAuthoriser rota.
- Provide specialist analytical expertise to support the delivery and ongoing development ofspecialist services.
- Authorise reports and contribute to an advisory and interpretative service within the specialist area, under appropriate supervision.
- Assist in the development, validation, and implementation of new analytical methods.
- Contribute to the evaluation and selection of laboratory equipment.
