Job summary
These roles are for Band 6 Midwives, registered with the NMC, wanting to work in Devon as part of a proactive, supportive, dynamic multi-professional team. We have some permanent posts available in our maternity services in both Exeter and Barnstaple. In Exeter and the surrounding area these posts are placed in our integrated teams ( community caseload and labour care) or unit based team. In North Devon these posts are unit based / community.
Due to our locations we have developed our service to meet the needs of our women and birthing people. To provide them with choice of place of delivery we support homebirths, births in a stand alone unit, births in an alongside unit, and births in a labour ward. Midwives can gain experience in different ways of working, leadership styles, and management styles as well as supporting a range of learners working in our area and helping us develop their knowledge and skills.
We have specialist midwives working in areas such as safeguarding, complex care, infant feeding, PMA, transformation, birth experiences, vaccinations, screening, safety and quality and education who are happy to share their knowledge, skills and support.

The RDUH Trust currently have teams of midwives working in the maternity service covering Exeter ,Barnstaple and the wider community areas in East, Mid, West and North Devon. Between us we have approximately 5,000 births per annum with approximately 3,500 births per annum in the Exeter service and 1,500 in the North Devon service.
We have a dynamic team of staff providing care for all birthing people in this varied and vibrant part of the country. If you are an experienced midwife who would like to be part of our team in either the unit, Integrated or community setting then please apply or contact us for more information.
Working Pattern: 07:30-20:00, or 19.30-08:00. Community shifts can be 9-5, 8-6, 8-8. Regular rotation onto nights.

Main duties of the job
Provide efficient and effective cleaning services across hospital areas. Maintain hygiene standards in line with Trust policies, including Infection Control and COSHH. The Sandwell and West Birmingham Bowel Cancer Screening Programme isseeking to recruit a full time Specialist Screening Practitioner (SSPs) tojoin our team.
The bowel screening service addresses the needs of individuals currentlyaged between 50 and 75 who have an abnormal test result from ahome screening kit.
SSPs are expected to work autonomously in guiding patients to makeinformed decisions at all stages of the screening pathway, whilstadhering to Trust and Bowel cancer screening policies and protocols.

We are seeking a motivated, compassionate Band 6 Junior Sister/Charge Nurse to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for an Emergency Department nurse who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care whilst developing their clinical leadership skills.
As a Junior Sister/Charge Nurse, you will provide day-to-day clinical and operational leadership within the department, supporting the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred care. Main duties of the job
As a Band 6 Junior Sister/Charge Nurse, you will provide clinical and operational leadership within the Emergency Department, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate patient care. Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating the day-to-day running of the department and supporting patient flow.
- Acting as a senior clinical role model, delivering high standards of emergency nursing care.
- Providing leadership, supervision, and support to registered nurses, nursing associates, healthcare support workers, and students.
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients with a wide range of urgent and emergency healthcare needs.
- Supporting the management of deteriorating and critically ill patients through timely assessment and escalation.
- Promoting evidence-based practice and ensuring compliance with national and local policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Contributing to workforce management, including staff deployment, mentoring, teaching, and appraisal processes.
- Leading on quality improvement, clinical governance, patient safety, and incident learning initiatives.
- Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to enhance patient experience and clinical outcomes.
- Supporting the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse in achieving departmental objectives, operational targets, and service development projects.

Job summary
We are looking for an experienced chaplain of any faith tradition to join our team and to work with us in providing spiritual, pastoral and religious care to patients, relatives and staff. This post will be based in our acute team and will work across our three hospitals (Warwick, Stratford and Leamington Rehabilitation Hospital).
You will join a well-established, creative and committed team in a Trust which is very supportive of the chaplaincy service. The wider team includes over 40 very well trained, active chaplaincy volunteers and part of the role will be to provide training and supervision for them. There is some change ahead, with a new Lead Chaplain to be appointed within the next six months.
You will be expected to participate in our emergency out of hours on call provision, which also includes call-outs to the Myton Hospices at Coventry and Warwick. We anticipate this to require being on call one night a week and one weekend a month.

Living Well Consortium (LWC), a partnership of member organisations in Birmingham and Solihull, is recruiting for Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWPs) to work within their NHS Talking Therapies (previously IAPT) service. The Traineeship involves one day per week in teaching led by Newman University, allocated study time, and time spent on placement within a Living Well Consortium Service Provider. The Traineeship will start in February 2027.
LWC is a network of third sector mental health organisations working collectively to support the mental health and wellbeing of people across Birmingham and Solihull. The organisation has secured contracts to deliver psychological support to people across this area through the NHS Talking Therapies (NHS TT) programme.
Trainee PWPs provide low intensity interventions through a range of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) based self-management techniques. They support clients with mild to moderate anxiety and depression.
The Traineeship is one year long, and, at the end of the programme, successful candidates will be fully qualified PWPs.
Successful candidates will be employed with a Living Well Consortium Service Provider.

Job summary
Oxford Terrace and Rawling Road Medical Group is a busy General Practice based in Bensham, Gateshead. We operate across two sites and offer primary care services to over 17,500 patients.
We are recruiting for a part time position, working 27.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 13:00-18:30
The successful candidate will also cover Saturday mornings on a rotational basis.
The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively both as part of a team and independently. They will understand the importance of delivering high quality administrative support within a fast paced and evolving primary care environment, and will demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop within the role.
This position comes with full training and mentorship support, as well as chances to develop new skills as the General Practice working environment changes and new opportunities arise. Experience of General Practice or an NHS environment is desirable, alongside knowledge and experience of the EMIS Web System.

Main duties of the job
Receive, assist, and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way. Provide general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone. Develop the receptionist role as care navigator for the practice.
