At NSFT, we consider it is vital that we better serve the needs of people with complex psychosis. We are excited to launch our new Intensive and Assertive Service that will provide intensive, person-centred care in the community support to individuals living with a psychotic illness across Norfolk and Suffolk.We are looking to recruit a dynamic, enthusiastic and passionate individual in the role of Operational Manager to manage the service. This is a unique opportunity to support with the implementation and development of a specialist team that will provide invaluable care to service users who struggle to engage with traditional services.
The role will require you and the team to work collaboratively with patients, carers, internal teams and wider system partners, including the VSCE organisations who will be part of the core team. You will need to have a positive and creative attitude towards innovation and changes and embrace a flexible approach to quality improvement.
You will value continuing professional and practice development, service improvement and evaluation and the development of meaningful outcomes with our service user population.
The base location for this role will be flexible due to it being a Trust wide service, with hub and spoke locations across both counties.
Main duties of the job
Lead a community-based, recovery-orientated mental health team ensuring that all resources, including staff, are used and monitored effectively while remaining within an agreed budget.
Actively participate in planning and developing the team, to provide service users with a person-centred approach relevant to their needs and a recovery focus.
Exercise your own judgement in complex situations relating to service delivery or organisational matters and have a high level of autonomy day to day to make the necessary decisions.
Foster effective links and partnerships, both internally and externally, to deliver safe care to a cohort of patients with many complex health and social needs.
To actively monitor performance, quality, safety and service development within their service areas, in line with Locality and Trust-wide policies and protocols.
Lead and support strategic and operational planning for specialist service areas within the locality.
Ensure effective day-to-day management of operational and clinical services.
Provide strong leadership to deliver high-quality, inclusive, and patient-centred services.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate part-time Staff Nurse to join our hospice team. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality, holistic care to patients with life-limiting illnesses and to support their families during some of the most challenging times of their lives.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will deliver person-centred care that promotes dignity, comfort and quality of life, ensuring patients receive exceptional support throughout their hospice journey.
Part-time - 22.5 hours a week - you must be able to commit to a variety of shift patterns including nights, lates, earlies, Bank Holidays and weekends on a planned rota basis.

Main duties of the job
As a member of our team you will have excellent opportunities for training and development to enable you to expand your skills within Palliative and End of Life Care.
You will be responsible for providing symptom management and complex end of life care to patients living with life limiting conditions. You will be able to make a real difference to peoples lives every single day, supporting our patients and their families.
You will also be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of evidence based patient care and for providing invaluable support to the patients family.
About You
You will be a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration, who is able to demonstrate a commitment to their own CPD.
You will have excellent clinical skills and experience and be able to work under supervision and on your own initiative to provide the highest standards of care and support to your patients and their families.
You will have good communication skills, with sound experience of symptom management gained with a Hospice/Hospital or Nursing Home environment.
You will be willing to learn new skills and expression to develop your own practices.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic, confident and people-focused individuals to join our new Face Fit Testing Team.
Face fit testing for respiratory protective equipment is a mandatory requirement under health and safety legislation. This role will play an important part in overseeing the delivery, development and compliance of an effective face fit testing service across the Trust.
The successful candidates will work within the Health and Safety Team and closely with staff and colleagues across a range of services, using excellent interpersonal and communication skills to provide a professional, supportive and responsive service.

Main duties of the job

Good communication and working relationships with the school staff and school leadership team is an essential part of the role.

There is an exciting opportunity for a 12 month role as a Project Coordinator with the Cheshire and Merseyside Diagnostic Programme. The Programme spans across 5 networks and is one of the transformation programme of the Cheshire and Merseyside Provider Collaborative. Main duties of the job
Working alongside a team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists and support workers to provide rehabilitation and support patients across elective orthopaedics pathways, trauma including general trauma, Hip fractures and major trauma. The post holder will also support H-fast (home first discharge to assess) working alongside our Multi Agency Discharge Team.
There may be a requirement for the post holder to work flexibly in other areas as required, including different hospital sites and community settings including domiciliary visits. The post may involve working across 7 days, including weekends and bank holidays.

Main duties of the job
The Apprentice role is a 3-year fixed term training contract (18 months for the top-up Assistant Practitioner route) and providing you successfully qualify and register with the HCPC you will be appointed to a qualified Band 5 Radiographer role at the end of the contract. Final acceptance into the Apprentice Radiographer post will be dependent on being accepted onto the degree programme by Exeter University (or Derby for top-up AP route) and meeting the apprentice eligibility rules for funding. The start date for the 3 year degree post is March 2027 and January 2027 for the top-up AP route. You must be able to commit to attending all 3 block study sessions per year at the University of Exeter in March, June and October. The 18 month Derby top-up course has no campus attendance.

We have 7 rooms in the Maternity ultrasound department and our general department has 4 rooms. The range of Ultrasounds we perform include MSK, Abdominal / Pelvic, Neck and Soft tissue and Gynae US. Our dedicated Maternity Ultrasound department performs all Obstetric scanning . We also have community Ultrasound services at Orsett Hospital and Brentwood community Hospital. The department has invested in new imaging equipment and promotes service development and improvement initiatives.
Our general and Doppler department is open 7 days a week. We are seeking to extend the opening hours of our maternity department into the weekend as well.
We also staff a symptomatic breast care unit, paediatric hip service and an outreach clinic at Brentwood Community Hospital.

Main duties of the job

This is a special educational needs school for young people aged 9 -19 years. Many students have additional needs such as mild to moderate Autistic Spectrum Disorders, language impairment or emotional issues; a few have sensory or medical needs.
Working with our experienced Speech and Language Therapy Assistant, you will deliver therapy programmes, support communication and empower families and school staff to help children achieve their goals. You will have access to our highly skilled and supportive wider team. Independence, key to the underlying ethos of the school, is supported and developed through a life skills programme, travel training and work experience.
Main duties of the job
Main Duties
Deliver Speech and Language Therapy support for children and young people (CYP) at St Philips School, working closely with school staff, families, Speech and Language Therapy Assistants, and other professionals.
Assess and support the communication needs of CYP with learning difficulties, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and other additional needs, using appropriate assessment and intervention approaches.
Plan, deliver, and review therapy programmes and outcomes, ensuring support is person-centred and linked to EHCP and educational goals.
Provide advice, training, and support to parents, carers, teachers, and support staff to help develop communication skills across school, home, and daily activities.

The team delivers interdisciplinary neuro rehabilitation, working closely with acute partners, social services and the voluntary sector.
The West Berkshire locality team is part of the wider Neuro Rehabilitation service across Berkshire. You will join a network of Neuro Specialist OTs with an established in-service training programme and opportunities to contribute to innovative service development projects such as Visual Rehab and Driving Pathways. The role includes an established supervision structure, support for personal growth and clinical skills development, and opportunities to apply for funding to attend external training relevant to Neuro Rehabilitation.
Main duties of the job
- Use specialist Occupational Therapy skills for patients with Neurological Conditions and work with other members of the MDT to maximise rehab outcomes for patients and support them to achieve meaningful goals
- Responsible for assessment, differential diagnosis, formulation of treatment plans and writing of full and clear clinical records and assessment reports, reflecting clinical reasoning.
- Work with other agencies and services to support patients in the management of their condition including their care, social, postural and equipment needs
- Work together with members of the team across the MDT to support clinical decision making around patient care and triage of new referrals.

We currently have a vacancy within our Surgical and Thoracic team who are based on the Fifth floor at Royal Papworth Hospital.
The post within the team is fundamental in ensuring that the patients' experience is always a positive one. The post holder will work closely with the Ward nursing team to support the achievement of an excellent standard of care on the wards for in-patients by providing a robust system of cleaning and maintenance of essential equipment and clinical areas within the wards.
The post holder will also be required to support the storage and documentation of patients' property and valuables in accordance with hospital policy and procedure and complete audits to improve future patient care.
Main duties of the job
The skills we are looking for are attention to detail, tact, patience, accurate data entry, the ability to liaise with colleagues throughout the Hospital and beyond, excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to make yourself understood on a telephone with a professional and respectful manner.
You should be enthusiastic to work within an environmental maintenance role, have some customer care or office experience with an understanding of what this entails and is able to contribute positively to the patient pathway.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- To act as first point of contact for all client enquiries, responding to telephone and face to face enquiries in an efficient, tactful and professional manner, redirecting calls, taking action as appropriate. Liaising with internal services and partner agencies when necessary as directed.
- To carry out general reception duties where required maintaining a neat and tidy reception environment;
- The maintenance of the patient booking system in the reception function to include the preparation and arrangement of appointments including inputting of referrals ensuring all clerical work resulting is dealt with in a timely manner;
- To display and ensure availability of information sources at reception with an adequate and attractive display of front desk poster and leaflet materials to include distribution and collation of all patient surveys;
- To deal with all internal/external mail and redistribution to relevant department;
- To sell items as required. (i.e. dressings, theraband, vitamins, prescriptions, etc)
- To accept deliveries and ensure these are dealt with promptly;
- To ensure vaccine deliveries are stored in accordance with the Immunisation policy where appropriate;
- To maintain an effective photocopying, filing and archiving system including records management in line with Trust policy;
- To provide relief cover at other locations as required by Management to include the assistance with the School Health Immunisation Programme;
- To copy type/audio type medical reports and general correspondence as required;
- To report any faults, defects or building defects to the CAFM Helpdesk;
- To maintain appropriate levels of stationery stock; to place requisitions onto the Purchase Ordering system;
- To book clinic and meeting rooms within the premises and keep room availability updated as appropriate;
- To update and maintain clinical diaries as requested;
- To undertake delegated duties commensurate with the banding;
