An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 5 Registered Nurse within our vital blood collection team based at Talbot Green within the Welsh Blood Service. A nursing role within collection services affords staff with development of a range of clinical skills and collection techniques including whole blood collection.
Working as part of a dynamic team, the Collections Nurse role is a clinical role responsible for supporting the Senior Clinic RNs and the wider collections team in the delivery of high-quality individualised care to our lifesaving donors. As a Collections Nurse, you will be expected to provide effective and compassionate clinical leadership to ensure optimal care of donors.
The Welsh Blood Service is committed to the development of our staff and successful applicants would progress through a comprehensive training programme on a supernumerary basis to ensure you are adequately prepared with the required specialist knowledge and skills to undertake this key clinical role.
Main duties of the job
To support the Senior Clinic Nurse in ensuring the provision of the safe and effective collection of blood at donor clinics.
To support the Senior Clinic Nurse in all aspects of nursing and clinical care of donors, ensuring a safe environment for all when working on the clinic. Be recognised as a source of clinical knowledge for advice and direction to non-clinical staff.
There will be a requirement for all staff to flex through various teams and blood collection facilities such as bloodmobiles, static sites and community clinics covering a large geographical area.
There is a requirement that the post holder will undertake scheduled tours that will include overnight stays several times a year.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Apprentice to join our Financial Services team primarily based at Worcestershire Royal Hospital. This post is an ideal opportunity to learn about the financial services side of Finance within the NHS whilst offering individuals the chance to earn a salary, gain valuable work experience and new skills whilst at the same time being supported to achieve their AAT Level 3 qualification. The successful candidate would be enrolled onto the most appropriate level of apprenticeship based on their prior relevant learning. In order to support the successful candidate, sometimes this may require enrolment onto the Level 2 Accounting apprenticeship first in order to gain the required foundational knowledge to support success at Level 3 and beyond. Main duties of the job

Work as a member of the team responsible for ensuring the integrity of the general ledger and associated feeder systems in accordance with the Trusts Standing Financial Instructions and internal office procedures.

We are seeking an organised and proactive Support Secretary/Administration Officer to join our Colposcopy Service. This important role provides comprehensive, high-quality secretarial and administrative support to the Colposcopy team and wider service.
The successful candidate will work closely with Cervical Screening Wales, Colposcopists, Senior and Lead Colposcopy Nurses, Cytology Nurses, GPs, and patients, ensuring effective communication and smooth service delivery. The post holder may also support and participate in relevant Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) meetings.
You will be responsible for managing and prioritising your own workload, using your experience and initiative to provide efficient administrative support in a busy clinical environment.

Main duties of the job
As a Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician, you will play a key role in delivering a safe, high-quality, and patient-focused ward-based pharmaceutical service at the Denmark Hill (DH) site.
Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will help ensure patients receive safe, effective, and timely medicines support throughout their care journey, contributing directly to improved patient outcomes and patient safety.
You will support the delivery and development of ward-based medicines management services across a range of clinical specialties on a rotational basis. Responsibilities include medicines reconciliation, assessing patients' own medicines, transcribing medicines, counselling patients, supporting medicine returns, and coordinating discharge medicines, including dispensing TTAs on wards and in dispensary.
You will also support the induction and training of pharmacy staff , while gaining valuable leadership experience through line management of a Pharmacy Support Worker.
The role includes supporting dispensary services, including dispensing activities and accuracy checking. We are looking for a registered Pharmacy Technician who has achieved, or is working towards, the Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) qualification and is passionate about delivering excellent patient care in a dynamic team environment.
