Job summary
We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic Children's trained nurse with experience in nursing children to join our team.
The Children's Community Nursing Service is a small but well established service that provides care to children and young people who have an identified nursing need/ long term health need, supporting and empowering families to manage their child at home and in a variety of settings across Solihull.
You will be part of a multi-professional team and will require excellent communication skills. We will offer a comprehensive induction and competency programme; prior competency evidence of IV therapy, Venepuncture/ blood sampling, enteral feeding device care, tracheostomy care and Medical Devices will be considered useful.
The team regularly operates from 09.00-18.30 hours Monday to Friday and Saturday and bank holidays 09.00-13.00 hours. This post is for 37.5 hours per week routinely worked over 5 days. This post is to cover maternity leave.
Daily access to your own vehicle for managing community visits is essential.
Main duties of the job
You will be required to manage a named caseload of children under the supervision of a senior nurse and will be expected to manage your own time and use your own initiative to provide evidenced based quality care.
You will assess and plan the care needs of children/young people and their families in the home, their school and other community settings. Your assessment and interventions will take into consideration the immediate and long term physical, psychological and social impact of diagnosis and treatment and identify the impact of this on a child/young person's development.
You will have good knowledge and experience of working within Safeguarding procedures and will be expected to attend/ support the team to attend Multidisciplinary team meetings and Safeguarding meetings. As a member of this team you will be supported with regular clinical supervision, appraisal and relevant team meetings.
A flexible working approach and an enthusiasm for long term, complex, palliative and end of life care is essential.
The role will entail teaching and sharing information with parents, carers, students and other professionals and experience in teaching others would be valuable.

Main duties of the job
In this role you will coordinate the support and develop our offer for children with a complex profile that prevents them accessing schools successfully. We are looking to recruit a Band 5 School Nurse to join our expanding School Health Plus Service. The School Health Plus service is directly aligned to the goals and aspirations of the school or academy. The School Health Plus nurse can work with the school or academy to target both individual and specific underlying community issues that may be creating barriers to success.
The post holder will work closely with and in school to meet the health needs of the school community. The post holder will be expected to manage a workload of children under the supervision of the Band 6 SCPHN within various schools and develop relationships with the school family and partner agencies to improve health outcomes for children, young people and families.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will develop links with the wider public health nursing team to ensure continuity of care and to safeguard the children. The school nurse will provide clinical expertise to the multi-disciplinary and multi-agency teams and act as a source of advice to parents/carers, children, young people and other health care professionals. The post holder will contribute to public health initiatives and activity in the school and health promotion activities which support the school population, as well as the school community.

We require several Security Officers (Band 3) to assist in the maintenance of Security to protect people and property, deter and detect crime and provide a reassuring presence to our staff, patients and visitors. Main duties of the job

As a Security Officer for Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust you will be expected to patrol hospital premises, monitor state of the art CCTV systems from a dedicated Control room based at Midland Metropolitan university Hospital, control access to restricted areas, and respond to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents. Work closely with clinical staff, management, and external agencies such as the police to manage risks including violence and aggression, theft, safeguarding concerns, and public safety issues.
The role requires strong communication skills, both written and spoken, conflict management, and observational skills to effectively de-escalate situations and ensure the wellbeing of patients, staff and visitors. Please note that this role is mainly remote. However, you will be required to attend the Barnsley Blood Centre once a month for team meetings.
Main duties of the job
In this role you will be required to:
- Provide help and support to budget holders in analysing budget variances and resolving complex queries.
- Be the main point of contact for budget holders on a day-to-day basis for transaction related queries.
- Assist the Management Accounts and Finance Support Manager and other Senior Finance Staff in analysing complex data and the preparation of standard monthly reports.

The ambition is to deliver specialist, acute mental health care in a setting designed and staffed to meet the specialist environmental and clinical needs of people with a learning disability and or autism where access to mainstream inpatient services cannot be achieved through implementation of reasonable adjustments.
The Cary ward will be a centre of excellence and has been carefully designed to provide services to individuals with autism, learning disabilities and/or mental health disorders. You will be instrumental in the development, implementation and delivery of the clinical and operational model for the inpatient service.
Main duties of the job
To inspire, lead and provide clear leadership to those working on the ward, enabling service delivery of the highest quality, ensuring that people who have Mental Health concerns are provided with a quality, person centred approach to care delivery, which always considers people's safety, privacy and dignity.
To work within a multi-professional team in an inpatient setting, providing, support, care, and treatment to individuals, within guidelines and protocols identified. Managing the development and practice of a set of therapeutic care skills, making a significant contribution to service users' psychological, emotional and social wellbeing. Job summary
East and North Herts Diabetes Service is a nurse led service. We are looking for a highly motivated expert Diabetes Specialist Clinical Lead Nurse with a strong desire to improve outcomes for people living with diabetes to work 30 hours per week - 08:30 to 16:30 across 4 days.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in diabetes specialist nursing and have the skills and experience to provide strong professional leadership and inspire a team of specialist nurses and dietitians and to provide expertise to the wider clinical staff within East and North Hertfordshire.
Ideally you will be an independent nurse prescriber with a strong understanding of the legal and professional issues surrounding this role. You will be a champion of patient structured education and working knowledge of the DAFNE programme will be an advantage.
The postholder will need excellent communication and organisational skills and be able to facilitate clinical staff development both within the team and for appropriate staff in the wider Trust.
You will also be a key stakeholder for the diabetes provision across the Central East Integrated Care System working in conjunction with representatives from the local acute Trusts, primary care and other providers of diabetes care to shape the strategic direction of provision.
Main duties of the job
To provide strong professional leadership, advice, support, and direction to the E&N Diabetes Service in the planning, coordination and evaluation of the service, liaising with Diabetes Dietetic Lead, Operational Lead and Assistant Operational Lead where appropriate
To be professionally accountable for the Diabetic Specialist Nurses (DSN's) within the E&N Diabetes Service including clinical supervision, training needs and professional accountability.
To deliver a minimum of one clinical session per week (pro rata) within E&N Hertfordshire.
To actively contribute to the ICB Diabetes work stream ensuring that appropriate links are established and maintained with the Herts Valleys Integrated Diabetes Service (HIDS) and ENHT Diabetes Service to ensure all national initiatives are delivered locally.
To provide strategic diabetes clinical leadership for HCT within East and North Hertfordshire.

We are looking for an experienced Head of Quality Improvement to operationally lead the Trust's Quality Improvement portfolio and help embed a culture of continuous improvement across South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.

The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust is one of the UK's leading providers of non-surgical cancer treatment, caring for a population of 2.4 million people across Cheshire & Merseyside, North Wales, the Isle of Man and parts of Lancashire.

Job summary
The Functional Bowel Service is expanding and developing its provision across the University Hospitals Tees sites. This is an exciting time to be involved in the development of a quality, patient-focused service to meet the needs of the local population through innovative nursing practice. The Nurse Specialist with work within a supportive forward thinking Multi-Disciplinary Team who are passionate about improving patient care and access to the service.
Main duties of the job
Autonomously delivering clinics, taking patient history, examination, requesting appropriate investigations and initiating treatments.
Providing teaching and support to patients requiring trans-anal irrigation, sacral nerve stimulation, ACE management and visual biofeedback.
Preparing and attending the Pelvic Floor MDT's.
Supporting Consultants in Specialist Pelvic Floor Clinic.
Triaging of referrals to ensure patients are seen appropriately and in a timely manner.
Contribute to service development.
Involvement in clinical research trials within the service as they arise.
Providing training and support to new staff, students and other healthcare professionals.

Main duties of the job
You will join a supportive and developing Inventory and Logistics Team that is focused on delivering innovation, continuous improvement and best practice across inventory management and supply chain services. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine operational leadership, systems expertise, stakeholder engagement and service improvement within a fast-paced healthcare environment.
We are looking for a highly organised individual with experience of inventory management, procurement systems, reporting or supply chain processes. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to interpret data and translate it into meaningful information that supports service improvement and decision-making. Experience of training and supporting users, leading projects and building effective stakeholder relationships is essential.
You will need excellent communication skills, strong IT capability and experience using reporting tools and systems. Knowledge of inventory management systems, procurement processes or NHS supply chain operations would be advantageous.

If so we would like to hear from you.An opportunity has arisen for a registered Nursing Associate to join our respiratory service. As a Nursing Associate you'll play a key role in delivering safe, compassionate care to children and young people with acute and long -term respiratory needs. Working closely with Registered Nurses, you'll support assessment, monitoring and recovery while developing your clinical skills in a specialist paediatric environment. You'll be joining a friendly, progressive team across the two Respiratory Wards (Leopard and Kangaroo) which focuses on children and young people requiring respiratory medicine acutely and chronically. Main duties of the job
- To provide direct patient care to an allocated group of patients including undertaking allrequired patient observations reporting any unusual results to the nurse in charge or your named supervisor
- Promote, monitor, and maintain a healthy, safe and secure environment for patients, families and staff.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with the children, families, and staff.
- Liaise with community teams, health visitors, nurses, social workers, and other health professional regarding patient progress record on EPIC system and liaise with clinical nurse specialist any changes that have occurred.
- To act as point of contact for families and professionals calling the service, logging calls, and referring to appropriate persons.
- To support and undertake any projects/audits initiated by the Trust or Unit
- To work collaboratively with the wider department, Health Records department, medical secretaries, and other relevant departments at all times
- To complete annual mandatory training and other training opportunities relevant to role.
- To participate in additional training and development opportunities in order to enhance professional development
- To participate in the annual performance review process identifying own objectives and produce a personal development plan in conjunction with your manager.
