We are recruiting Domestic Assistants to join our team at Carleton Clinic, Cumbria. This post will be offered at Part Time, 17.5 hours per week on a rolling rota to cover a 7-day service. These hours are 3pm - 6:30pm.
Our team of Domestics keep our wards and buildings clean and tidy and provide a great service to patients, visitors, and staff. You could be cleaning a hospital ward, patient bedroom or office areas and corridors.
Because we provide services to the NHS your work supports better patient care. It's important work and you will need to take pride in what you do and complete tasks to a high standard.If you are in a community building you will be working alongside patients who have mental health illness, learning disabilities or brain injuries. You could be cleaning their rooms and the shared areas on the ward, and you will get to know them and the clinical staff, and you'll feel part of the team. It can be a real challenge working on wards like these, but we also know that our staff find it rewarding.
Main duties of the job
- Carrying out a range of cleaning tasks in areas such as offices, public areas such as corridors, areas which patients use such as shared spaces on wards as well as bedrooms and bathrooms
- Cleaning tasks can include things like dusting of walls, ceilings and curtain rails, dusting and polishing of furniture and paintwork, hoovering of carpets, mopping floors
- Being able to follow instructions and follow a routine work schedule which sets out your tasks and carry out those duties often without supervision
- Being aware of the patients that you will be working alongside and work in a way that is respectful, caring and compassionate
- You will use equipment and cleaning products safely, adhering to all control of substances harmful to health (COSHH) rules and regulations
- Understanding infection prevention and control rules and adhering to them
- Completing any paperwork such as quality checks and any other documentation required
- Help with any cleaning audits or other surveys and inspections that take place
- Taking part in any training that you need to do and keep up to date with all company communications
- You will be respectful of other people and work in a way that supports equality, diversity and inclusion

2x Part Time 30 hours per week
Applications are invited from enthusiastic, hardworking, self-motivated and committed individuals for the above position. Candidates must have a pleasant and courteous disposition and a flexible attitude towards the demands of this post.
The Central Endoscope Decontamination Unit is responsible for the decontamination of all flexible endoscopes used within the Trust. There are Decontamination Units on both St Helens and Whiston sites and the successful candidate will be expected to work at either site. The decontamination process includes manual cleaning, use of Automatic Endoscope Re-processors, storage, tracking and tracing of scopes, and delivery to point of use.
The ideal candidate should be able to work as part of a team, use own initiative and be able to meet deadlines and work with all disciplines of staff.
Previous decontamination experience would be an advantage but the successful candidates will be given full training to support their role.
Working hours will be dictated by the needs of the service therefore applicants should have some flexibility in when they are available to work.
The successful candidates will take part in the on call service for out of hour's endoscope decontamination (week nights and weekends).
The JD & PS are currently under AfC review and are subject to change.
Main duties of the job
- To undertake the complete cycle of endoscope decontamination
- This includes the visual inspection, manual cleaning, processing in an automatic endoscope reprocessor, storing, tracking, and tracing and collection and delivery of all flexible scopes used in the Trust.
- To work within the designated area, ensuring that agreed standards are achieved.
- To implement the correct method of decontamination of the endoscopes in accordance with the manufacturers instructions and protocols as issued by the department.
- To use Endoscope Washer Disinfector (EWD) safely and correctly, Drying Cabinets and all other associated equipment as per manufacturers' instructions.
- To work within COSHH Regulations in respect of substances used, comply with departmental procedures for use of PPE and be competent in dealing with spillages of chemicals
- To assist with all relevant tests required on endoscopes, washer disinfectors and associated equipment as per departmental protocol.
- To understand how to escalate any problems or emergency relating to decontamination equipment to the supervisor or manager
- To ensure all necessary documentation concerning the decontamination of each endoscope (tracking and tracing) is completed effectively and efficiently and in accordance with the departmental procedure (electronic and paper systems)

We are seeking a Telephony/Receptionist to undertake a wide range of duties including call handling and reception duties for a Secure Forensic Unit and corporate Trust HQ, along with administrative support.
As the first point of contact for the Trust, you will be responsible for providing a positive customer service experience; directing callers, visitors, colleagues to the most appropriate service for ongoing care, support and advice, of which some calls can be highly distressing.
You will be part of the Out of Hours District Nurses call handling service, acting as the first point of contact for all messages; this will include urgent calls, queries and referrals for the community District Nursing service in North and South Staffordshire. The post holder will be required to identify and forward urgent calls and enquiries, some of which may be complex and sensitive, direct to the triage nursing team in line with established processes - this includes RAG rating the calls as they come through and assigning to the wait lists.
This is role is working routine shifts, however you must be prepared to cover other receptionists when they are on annual leave/ sick leave, by taking on their complete duty at short notice including night duty.

Main duties of the job
All Telephonists/Receptionists will be required to have a general understanding and ability to carry out all tasks below however, some tasks may not be required at all locations:
- Receive and deal with general reception enquiries; this may include listening and responding to information requests or queries and enquiries and directing staff, service users, visitors, contractors, self-presenters etc as appropriate.
- First point of contact in the event of a medical emergency, psychiatric emergency and Fire; responsible for sending out bleeps via the Multitone system, monitoring and co-ordinating timely responses and follow on actions (i.e. Fire).

You will provide initial assessments to service users and provide programmes of treatment, care and support required for the individual and their family or carers.
An understanding of MSK rehabilitation is desirable along with varied clinical placements as a student. We offer comprehensive and robust support and you will be supported by our highly skilled and experienced physiotherapists and the wider multidisciplinary team. Continuing Professional Development is encouraged and identified through annual appraisal. Clinical supervision is offered through groups or individual sessions as appropriate.
You should hold excellent communication skills, show initiative and team spirit as well as be committed to patient care.
You will be expected to be flexible and have the ability to travel in a timely manner to work in a variety of locations across Lichfield and surrounding regions, as the service requires.
Main duties of the job
You will join our friendly team as a Physiotherapist and will be expected to assess new service user referrals and care/support needs. Assess service users and formulate, develop, implement and evaluate programmes of treatment /care/support for individuals, families and carers. The treatment/care/support plans may include the following:
- Promoting independence/self-management and maintaining safety.
- Increased functional ability.

Main duties of the job
The School Nursing Targeted Intervention Service prides itself in providing health advice and support to children, young people and their families within Stoke on Trent.
The key responsibilities of the role include: working closely with our special and mainstream schools in the Stoke on Trent area, supporting teacher training and care planning for children with specific health needs, delivering nocturnal enuresis clinics, toileting/continence issues, advice and support to parents regarding physical and emotional health needs of their child and completing review health assessments with looked after children. The post holder will need to have excellent communication skills and be confident in the roles of safeguarding children.
The post is a permanent post for 30 hours per week, the service is delivered between Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00 pm. There will be flexibility for the hours to be delivered within these days and times.

Job summary
Senior Immunisation Nurse based at Durrington Health Centre, supporting the Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust Immunisation Service across Sussex.
You will provide day-to-day leadership to a local team of immunisation nurses, assistants, administrators and bank staff, ensuring the smooth delivery of school and outreach vaccination sessions and nurse-led clinics. You will work collaboratively across Sussex and with school health teams to improve immunisation uptake through local strategies and public health initiatives.
The role involves planning and delivering national routine immunisation programmes for children and young people aged 0-19, including HPV, Td/IPV, MenACWY, Flu, MMR and BCG. You will independently manage nurse-led clinics and promote high-quality, safe, accessible and holistic immunisation services for children, young people and families.
Applicants should have knowledge and experience of childhood immunisations and the ability to lead and support a busy, friendly team.
Core hours are 08:00-16:00, with occasional earlier starts for vaccine preparation, later finishes for clinics, and one Saturday morning clinic per school term.
Main duties of the job
a) Works under both Patient Group Directions and Patient Specific Directions to administer vaccinations using correct technique.
b) Provides individualised patient care based upon the principles of evidence based practice.
c) Planning transportation of equipment and resources in line with Health and Safety requirements, and set up sessions within the settings used for immunisations.
d) Assist with the development of, deliver and evaluate training to a range of professionals and organisations.
e) Planning staffing, resources and leading immunisation sessions within a geographical area, clinics and home visits, including, but not limited to, hard to reach groups such as travellers, home educated and looked after children.

You will report to the Head of MHA and MCA and be a member of the Mental Health Legislation Team. You will be based in The Redwoods Centre, Shrewsbury, however may on occasion be required to work and provide cover at St George's Hospital, Stafford.
On a day to day basis you will deliver, maintain and promote operational compliance with statutory legislation in respect of the administration of the MHA, safeguarding and promoting the rights of some of our most vulnerable patients.
You will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, a methodical and flexible approach, the ability to work under pressure and a keen eye for detail. You will also be confident in dealing with professionals at all levels both internal and external to the organisation, place a great deal of importance on accuracy and have the ability to work as part of a team.
Main duties of the job
Duties will include:
the checking, acceptance, processing and administration of Mental Health Act documentation;
organisation and co-ordination of patient appeal and renewal hearings;
maintenance of accurate computer and manual patient related systems;
shared management of the departmental generic email boxes;
deal with queries from ward staff and other professionals with regard to any aspect of paperwork in relation to the Mental Health Act, including Section 17, Consent to Treatment and Second Opinion documentation.
You will be expected to acquire a full working knowledge of the legislation relating to patients' detentions and become conversant with the duties of other posts within the Department. You must be willing and able to undergo training and development on an ongoing basis to achieve the required standard and knowledge.

We are seeking a highly experienced pharmacist with excellent leadership skills to join our senior pharmacy management team as Deputy Chief Pharmacist. Job summary
Are you an experienced Clinical or Counselling Psychologist who is looking to work in a dedicated team? An opportunity has arisen to join the Adult Psychology Service within Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust. The job is based with Bournemouth East CMHT, Kings Park Hospital.
As a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist you will be solely accountable and responsible for the direct delivery of psychological services to adults with significant mental illness/disorder. You will be skilled in assessment, formulation, and in the delivery of appropriate highly specialised psychological therapies, where highly complex facts must be considered, and where expert opinion may differ. You will provide highly specialised advice to clients, their families, and carers where appropriate, and to the wider multidisciplinary team.
The role is diverse and allows opportunities to develop your own individual therapy skills, work on service development, continue with your professional development, and work with a range of skilled professionals who are all passionate about working with adults. The Adult Psychology Service is committed to supporting its staffs development by providing high quality training and supervision opportunities as well as regular opportunities for staff to connect, support and learn from each other.
This is a part-time post, 30 hours per week and flexible working is available.
Main duties of the job
You will be skilled in assessment, formulation, and in the delivery of appropriate highly specialisedpsychological therapies, where highly complex facts must be considered, and where expert opinion may differ.
You will undertake clinically relevant research and audit evaluation, as well as supervise the research & development activities of Assistants and Trainee Clinical Psychologists.
You will be responsible for developing highly specialised programmes of care.Judgements need to be made involving highly complex facts or situations, which require the analysis, interpretation and comparison of a range of options.
You will need to be able to share sensitive information with clients, their carers and other professionals, whose opinion may differ.
You will receive regular highly specialised supervision in common with good practice guidelines.
