Job summary
Do you aspire to provide holistic, patient centred care? Apply for our Community Nurse vacancy in Scarborough where you will provide assessment & care to patients in their own place of residence. This is a fixed term post to cover maternity leave.
Because our service also provides nursing specialisms there is comprehensive support and advice available to you.
You will have a planned induction which includes a training programme delivered by our specialist nurses & for newly qualified staff we have a preceptorship programme. We have a clear competency framework so you know what is expected within your role & can plan development of your competencies with support from your line manager.
As a community nurse you will work closely with the wider MDT within our own services and other agencies including the acute hospitals, Hospice, General Practice, Social Services & the voluntary sector. We are a 24/7 service so there is opportunity for different types of shifts.
For Internal applicants this would be a secondment opportunity and must obtain approval from their substantive line manager prior to applying and evidence of this approval must be provided as part of the application process.
Main duties of the job
The main duties of the role include:
- Holistic patient assessment, formulation and reviewing of care plans
- Holding a non-complex patient caseload
- Management of pressure ulcers & wounds
- Palliative & end of life care
- Bladder & bowel care including catheterisation and continence assessments
- Medicines Management
- Injections (sub cut & IM)
- Phlebotomy
- Provision of equipment to support care
- Safeguarding
- Participation in daily safety huddles & handovers
- Line management & supervision of junior staff
- Practice supervision for nursing students
- Continual learning and professional development

Main duties of the job
The post-holder will participate in the effective and safe running of the MRI department and will be able to perform a wide range of specialist MRI scans in the extended hours 7-day service. The post holder will offer supervision to band 6 radiographers, imaging assistants, students, and visitors to the MRI department. The post holder will ensure patient flow in the trust by actively managing the flow of emergency and in-patients to ensure same day scanning. Furthermore, they will be expected to engage in prompt protocolling, checking of conditional devices, booking of sedated patients, liaison with radiologists and other clinicians to actively unblock barriers to scanning. The post holder will be key in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and experience and will be enabled to deal with and diffuse potential complaints to the patient and carers' satisfaction.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Bed Manager within the Neurosciences department at University Hospital Southampton (UHS). This is an exciting opportunity to join our team. Within the Medicines Management team as a Pharmacy Support Worker. Our team of Support Workers are well regarded by the trust, becoming a vital part of each care group to ensure that the right medicines are available for inpatient use as well as for discharge. Job summary
Applications are invited for 12-months fixed term Fellowship posts in Paediatric Anaesthesia at Great Ormond Street Hospital commencing in Feb 2027 (1 post) and May 2027 (2 posts). They are designed to offer extensive training opportunities for clinicians wishing to pursue a career in paediatric anaesthesia. The posts will consist of 12 months training in anaesthesia at this busy tertiary paediatric referral centre.
These are Trust Fellow positions. They don't have a National Training Number. The FRCA or equivalent level of knowledge is mandatory. Applicants would be expected to have completed the equivalent of at least one year of higher/advanced training in paediatric anaesthesia (or equivalent) and be within two years of completion or two years post completion of specialist training in anaesthesia at the start of the position. They should also be able to demonstrate a commitment to a career in paediatric anaesthesia. Applicants must be eligible to register with the GMC.
Main duties of the job
- To provide a high-quality elective and emergency anaesthetic service.
- To engage in clinical governance activities such as critical incident reporting, attend morbidity and mortality meetings, perform audit, and participate in any mandatory training deemed necessary.
- To actively engage in the teaching and training of other members of the anaesthetic department and hospital staff.
- Engage with quality improvement activity.
- Perform additional management and administrative tasks as deemed appropriate to the position.

Are you a Registered Nurse looking to change your working environment, and develop your knowledge and skill set? The Complex Leg Ulcer Service can support you with 22.5 hours per week working between Frederick Treves House and The Atrium Health Centre working within the leg ulcer clinics.
As a complex leg ulcer Staff Nurse, you will support the ongoing development of the nurse led Complex Leg Ulcer management service. You will provide evidence based professional advice on all aspects of leg ulcer management to patients and their carers. Job summary
A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive, creative and highly skilled Forensic or Clinical Psychologist who is passionate about supporting children and young people in a secure setting.
You will join our fantastic multi-disciplinary team at our Lincolnshire Secure Children's Home, rated Outstanding by both CQC and Ofsted. The service sits within our Children's and Young Person's Complex Care Service Line, alongside the Harmful Behaviour Service and Complex Needs Service. Our Secure Children's home provides care for up to 12 young people aged 10-18.
Many of the young people we support have experienced significant adversity, including trauma, mental health challenges, neurodevelopmental difficulties and risk of harm to themselves or others.
You will work closely with our Highly Specialist Forensic Psychologist/Clinical Lead and a range of professionals to create a safe, containing environment and deliver interventions that help young people understand themselves, their mental health and their offending behaviour.
In this role you will have opportunities to lead on psychological formulations, deliver individual and group interventions, and contribute to staff training and development.

Main duties of the job
The role involves providing the psychology component of LPFT's multi disciplinary mental health assessment and intervention service for young people residing in the LSU.
It includes developing and delivering a range of psychological assessments and interventions, either independently or alongside CAMHS colleagues, as well as working collaboratively with other professionals, agencies, carers and families, and acting as a case coordinator when appropriate.
You will offer therapeutic interventions to young people who have experienced sexual abuse or who present with sexually concerning behaviours, and will carry out specialist developmental assessments--such as cognitive assessments and assessments for autistic spectrum disorder--to support understanding of learning or neurodevelopmental difficulties influencing a young person's presentation.
The role requires experience in at least two therapeutic approaches, alongside a willingness to train in dialectical behaviour therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy and eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing if not already accredited.
It also includes leading on psychological formulations, undertaking risk assessment and risk management for individual young people and offering guidance to other professionals on the psychological aspects of assessing and managing risk. This is a part-time post, and flexible working patterns can be considered within operational hours.
