As a Pharmacy Technician, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- As a GPHC registered pharmacy technician with Practice Plus Group you will become an integral member of pharmacy team, as well as a valued member of the multidisciplinary clinical healthcare team.
- Provide outstanding quality based patient centred care to our patients seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them.
- Focusing on providing a safe and secure medicines management service, ensuring patient medical records are maintained to the agreed standard at all times and ensuring standard operating procedures are followed to a high and orderly standard.
- Deliver non-judgmental care within the scope of professional standards. Involving anything from the timely administration of medicines through to analysing cost effective prescribing as defined through our unique health in justice medicines policy. You will make a real difference by working as a key member of a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
- Inspire excellence by forging strong links within our teams, our partners and stakeholders and providing a service that people can trust, feel safe within and feel proud of. Qualifications required- NVQ Level 3, or above, BTEC or equivalent
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
- Up to date with Continual Professional Development (CPD)
- Relevant post-qualification pharmacy experience
- General GCSE education or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work unsupervised whilst following policy and procedures
Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Speech & Language Therapist to join the Adult Acute SLT Service at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This post is offered as Band 6-7 depending on experience and is a fixed-term position covering maternity leave.
This role represents 0.5 WTE within the Adult Acute SLT team and 0.5 WTE within the Head & Neck SLT service, providing the opportunity to work across two well-established specialist areas within a large tertiary teaching hospital. The Head and Neck aspect is a Macmillan post which enables access to training & equipment grants.
Within the Adult Acute service, the post holder will manage a complex caseload and provide specialist SLT input across adult acute wards, working as part of an established multidisciplinary team within fast-paced clinical environments.
You will provide specialist SLT input across Head & Neck Cancer / Oncology and ENT services (Voice).
You will bring:
o Strong experience in ENT and Head & Neck Cancer/Oncology
o Expertise in voice assessment and therapy
o Competence in flexible nasendoscopy (FNE) / laryngeal evaluation
o Experience in MDT working, training, and service development
Main duties of the job
The role includes specialist SLT input for adults with complex dysphagia and acquired communication difficulties, including patients under medical, respiratory, surgical and oncology services (including brain tumours). The adult acute component of the post does not include stroke rehabilitation wards or designated neurology wards.
You will contribute to a highly specialist Voice and Head & Neck Oncology SLT service, managing a complex caseload and providing advanced assessment and intervention. You will work autonomously, prioritising your workload and leading outpatient instrumental assessment clinics such as Videofluoroscopy (VFS) and Fibreoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) as well as Surgical Voice Restoration
The post holder will also contribute to triage processes within the adult acute SLT service and support timely prioritisation and management of referrals.
In addition to clinical responsibilities, the post holder will contribute to the support and supervision of junior staff and students across the service.

HMP Winchester is a Category B Local remand prison located in Central Winchester accommodating approximately 670 male prisoners.
Although the site is close to Winchester city centre there is onsite parking for all staff and it is a short walk from Winchester train station.

Job summary
The post holder is required to lead and supervise a large number of Housekeeping Assistants, under the supervision of the Housekeeping Manager, ensuring the environment is maintained to the highest possible standard. Responsible for delivering daily housekeeping services including the daily allocation of work, monitoring standards of cleanliness, reporting of maintenance faults and ensuring all clinical and non-clinical areas are fit for purpose as outlined in the Cleaning Standards.
Main duties of the job
1.To allocate precise and clean instruction of work to be performed on a daily basis to all Housekeeping Assistants through the completion of duty allocation rosters; ensuring adequate staffing levels are provided to all areas of the Trust; making alterations as circumstances and priorities dictate. Obtain additional manpower to ensure department responsibilities are fully covered; informing department management of gaps in services likely to impact on standards.
2.To ensure all staff know their duties; particularly when allocated to unfamiliar areas where requirements may differ. Ensure staff have the sufficient skills, training and materials to complete required tasks to a high standard within their allocated time.
3.Manage and approve staff annual leave and other types of leave (e.g. carers leave, paternity leave, maternity leave etc.). In accordance with the Department's protocols and Trust policies.
4.To be visible on the 'shop floor'; monitoring departments and areas serviced by the Housekeeping Department; monitoring work ensuring cleaning tasks are undertaken and completed in line with the required standards.
5.To undertake a selection of areas as prioritise and carry out a formal monitoring of the service is being provided and record findings using a Quality Assurance System. In both cases ensure feedback of findings is reported to staff and colleagues; checking appropriate corrective actions are effectively taken.

Children's Services went through a transformational change with the merging of nursing teams across the Paediatric Emergency Department and the Children and Young People's Unit. Main duties of the job
Children's Emergency Department (ED)
Children's ED is a busy department who currently see large volumes of children every year in an area specifically dedicated to children. Children who are attending with urgent care complaints are streamed straight to this area.
Children's Clinical Decision Area (CCDA) and Short Stay
The Children's Decision Area sees children referred from GPs, children with direct access and children sent from ED requiring a further assessment. The short stay area is for children who require a prolonged period of observation but who are unlikely to need a full admission to hospital.
Ward 30 (Children's Inpatient Unit)
Ward 30 is a Children's Inpatient Unit that was purpose built in 2016. The unit includes 35 inpatient beds, a two-bedded stabilisation area. The ward has an adolescent room, school room, play room, and an accessible bathroom. Each bed space also has state of the art bedside monitoring.
A team of clinical skills educators will be on hand with a supportive and robust training package, including:
- Obtaining physiological observations
- Meeting the care needs of children
- Venepuncture & cannulation
- ECG monitoring
- Bladder scanning
- Blood glucose & ketone monitoring
- Urinalysis
- Care of a child with a tracheostomy
- Caring for children requiring long term ventilation

The main role of our team of Patient Navigators, formerly called Receptionists is to welcome patients, understand their medical needs and help them to access the most appropriate service. This could be any one of the wide range of KAMP clinicians from physiotherapist to social prescriber to GP, or an external provider such as urgent eyecare service or pharmacist to name but a few.
They also provide general support to the Practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.
Patient Navigators also take a leading role in educating patients about how to best use the services on offer to them.
Main duties of the job
We are currently recruiting for a Patient Navigator to work 24 hours in our friendly team to provide an effective and efficient service to all patients and visitors to the practice both in person and via the telephone.
Excellent communication skills and accuracy are essential. Experience of working within General Practice and with SystmOne would be desirable.

As a Trainee Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP), you will join one of our innovative and dynamic Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs), helping to shape how schools and colleges support the emotional wellbeing of children and young people aged 5 to 19.
Youll study part time for a fully funded Postgraduate Diploma in Mental Health Practice in Education Settings (Level 7), delivered by Derby University. Alongside this, youll gain hands-on experience in local schools, working with children and young people who are experiencing issues like anxiety, low mood, emotional regulation, relationship challenges and adjusting to change.
With full supervision and support, you will deliver low-intensity, evidence-based interventions, contribute to assessments and planning, and help embed a Whole School Approach to emotional wellbeing. Youll work in partnership with school staff, families and other professionals to help young people feel heard, understood and supported.
Salary starts at £26,182 during training and increases to £32,921 (Band E) upon successful qualification.
