Job summary
The post is for tenure for twelve months. The appointment is primarily based at St. Thomas's Hospital. All paediatric surgery takes place at Evelina Children's Hospital. On-call duties will also include some off-site emergency activity at Guy's Hospital. The position is full-time and will include on-call commitments at an experienced SpR level. It offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in advanced Paediatric ENT surgery. Undergraduate and post-graduate teaching and participation in audit is required. Candidates should have appropriate clinical and operative experience.
Main duties of the job
To assist in the provision of high-quality ENT services to Trust patients, with specific emphasis on Paediatric ENT services, including the development of the service.
To participate in clinical and other service activities with the object of ensuring a high quality of patient care and to contribute to service developments.
To take part in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and training.
To participate in research activities with the Department.
To help maintain the data collection of patients.
About us
Our children's ear, nose and throat (ENT) service is one of the largest and most specialised in the UK.
We see children from across south London and south east England with conditions including:
- airway, breathing and voice problems
- adenoid and tonsil conditions, including sleep apnoea and tonsillitis
- conditions needing hearing implant surgery, including cochlear implants, middle ear implants and bone anchored hearing aids
- ear disease and conditions needing ear surgery
- nose and sinus conditions
- inherited and acquired head and neck problems
- ear, nose and throat emergencies
Ourear, nose and throat teamincludes consultant surgeons, specialist nurses, speech therapists and other professionals
Many of the children we see have complex medical conditions and need long-term support. We work closely with colleagues in other departments at Evelina London Children's Hospital, in the community and at other hospitals to provide this.
We regularly participate in clinical research to improve our understanding of ENT conditions for the benefit of our patients.

Job summary
The Trust is continuing to build its portfolio in order to develop research locally and improve access to clinical trials for the people of Warrington and Halton. The benefits of active participation in research are well recognised in leading to successful outcomes for patients as well as helping ensure our clinical staff stays abreast of the latest possible treatment options.
An opportunity for an 18 month fixed term role, funded by the NIHR Research Delivery Network, to increase research activity in the community.
The post holder will be a member of an established team and responsible for co-ordinating an agreed portfolio of research studies. The successful applicant may be an experienced research nurse, midwife or allied health professional (NMAHP) or an NMAHP looking to move into research as full training will be given.
The successful applicant will be self-motivated, excellent at working both independently and with a team, professionally curious with fantastic communication skills, attention to detail and ability to form productive working relationships. This role is pivotal to increasing the capacity to deliver research in the community at North Cheshire and Mersey NHS Foundation Trust.
Main duties of the job
Key responsibilities of the post include supporting building research capacity in community, assisting study set up, identifying patients through screening notes, collecting data, interviewing, supporting, and monitoring patients and data entry.
If the successful candidate is a registered nurse, the role will include remote on call duties for which full training will be provided.

We are looking for a motivated Developing EBME Technician to join our EBME/Clinical Engineering team.

Cleanliness - All Estates & Facilities services staff

Cleanliness - All Estates & Facilities services staff
- To ensure the cleanliness of the area you are assigned to under the direction of the supervisor (Team Lead, Site Co-ordinator or Operational Manager) according to the NHS cleaning guides.
- This will include cleaning all areas, such as corridors, offices, stairs, toilets, bathrooms, kitchens, dining rooms, clinical and patient rooms on a frequent basis using a variety of cleaning methods, tasks and procedures including: damp dusting all horizontal and vertical surfaces, high and low cleaning, replenishment of disposable items (including curtain hanging), emptying (and at times washing) waste bins and deep cleans (where applicable). Role Purpose:

Main duties of the job

The Band 5 Haematology Nurse will provide high-quality patient care within both the inpatient and day-case haematology settings. The Radiology Private Practice (Junior) Business Manager is responsible for supporting the effective operational delivery, coordination and performance of private patient activity within the Radiology Service.

The post holder will coordinate the administrative and business processes associated with private radiology activity, ensuring private patients progress efficiently through the radiology pathway.
Key responsibilities include monitoring and reporting on private radiology activity, capacity, income and key performance indicators; analysing data; identifying areas of underperformance; and supporting managers to improve utilisation, productivity, patient experience and income capture. Main duties of the job
- Coordinate admin and business processes supporting private Radiology activity.

Job summary
We are looking for a Band 7 Clinical Psychologist to join the Exeter and East Devon multidisciplinary Learning Disability teams, to help us support the wellbeing of this vulnerable and marginalised group.
You will be a senior part of the Clinical Psychology team across Devon, working in and sharing the clinical leadership of your MDTs. You will be part of a rich multi-disciplinary team including Nursing, Psychiatry, Occupational therapy, Physiotherapy and Speech and Language therapy. Main duties of the job
To improve the psychological health & wellbeing of people with Learning disabilities and provide psychological services to people who use services and staff in your area Intensive Assessment and Treatment Team (IATT).
This will be achieved in this post by:
1. Ensuring the systematic provision of a high quality psychological service to people with Learning Disabilities in Devon as a key component of Health and Social Care Partnership services.
2. Providing clinical leadership, co-ordination and supervision for staff, trainees and volunteers employed by or attached to the psychology service.
3. Carrying a specialist caseload of clients, and providing advice and consultancy to clients and professionals.
4. Working autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for the systematic governance of psychological practice within the team.
5. Receiving regular professional and clinical supervision in accordance to Trust policy and to Professional Practice Guidelines set out by the Health Professions Council/British Psychological Society.
6. Contributing to the management of psychology services in the locality.

Job summary
The post holder will provide a comprehensive medical secretarial service to the Consultants and the medical team (CMT). They will support and administer processes to sustain the Consultants practice through administrative protocols, processes and procedures in line with service needs. They must be able to communicate sensitively and effectively with a wide range of people including patients, medical staff and colleagues. The secretary may be required to cover for colleagues during absence and work flexible hours when necessary across all three Surgical Services. Previous Medical Secretarial experience is highly desirable for this role.
Main duties of the job
The Surgical Neurosciences department comprises of 3 specialist services including Spinal Surgery, Neurosurgery and pain management. It comprises of 5 elective theatres and 1 acute theatre on the LGI site providing theatre capacity for adult and paediatric spinal surgery and adult cranial surgery. In addition to elective theatres at St James Hospital and Chapel Allerton Hospital. There are up to 20 theatre lists running each week within the service. There are currently 30 consultants working within the service. The post holder will develop and maintain close working relationships with the consultants, the wider directorate clinical teams, the neurosciences management team, the wider neurosciences administration team and external organisations
