Main duties of the job
Experience supporting enterprise network environments
Knowledge of LAN, WAN, WLAN, TCP/IP, DHCP and DNS

Job summary
Maintenance Shift Craftsperson Band 5- 37.5 hours per week
A vacancy has arisen for a time served mechanical or electrical craftsperson, willing to perform mechanical tasks, to work a rotating shift pattern (3 days on, 4 days off, 3 nights on, 5 days off.) maintaining plant and equipment on the Stepping Hill Hospital site. The post holder will have primary responsibility for the running and maintenance of the main boiler house and associated steam rising plant, together with out of hours hands on responsibility for site maintenance and repairs. Salary circa 35 - 40K with shift enhancements.
With a recognised apprenticeship in and a minimum of level 3 BTEC or NVQ qualifications your wide experience will enable you to carry out maintenance and repairs of plant and equipment on the hospital site. The successful applicant will be a self-motivated individual with good communication skills, general electrical/mechanical engineering experience, and an ability to work on their own initiative.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be employed by Stockport NHS Foundation Trust as a maintenance craftsperson to undertake work appropriate to their core skills. Based at the Stepping Hill Hospital Site with key responsibilities for Boiler House PPM duties including BOAS (Boiler Operations Accreditation Scheme) trained accredited operator award, out of hours emergency response for faults on electrical, mechanical and plumbing services throughout the Hospital.

As part of the transformation of the Hertfordshire Children and Young People (CYP) Mental Health Service, our priority is to improve access to mental health and wellbeing support through the implementation of Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs).
In line with the NHS Long Term Plan, we are recruiting 4 Trainee Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHPs) to join the HPFT MHST in Watford, South Hertfordshire.
Working under supervision within a dynamic mental health team, you will deliver low-intensity, evidence-based CBT interventions while completing university-based training alongside clinical practice.

This is an NHS England-funded training post. To be eligible, applicants must not have undertaken another NHS England-funded training position within the previous two years.
The role is appointed at Band 4, with progression to Band 5 on successful completion of the training programme, placement requirements and professional registration.
Successful applicants must be available to commence employment on Monday 4 January 2027.
Main duties of the job
The Trainee Education Mental Health Practitioner will:
- Study alongside other trainee EMHPs at the University of East Anglia.
- Be expected to attend 100% of university teaching days and successfully complete all components of the university training programme.
- Work closely alongside a team of mental health professionals including qualified EMHPs, Children's Wellbeing Practitioners, Senior Practitioners, Senior Wellbeing Practitioners and a Team Leader.
- Work with children and young people with mild to moderate mental health presentations, who attend a South Hertfordshire MHST school.
- Develop and practice evidence-based skills under supervision to work directly with children, young people and families.
- Develop and practice evidence-based skills under supervision to carry out holistic and child-centred mental health assessments, including risk assessments.

Fire Safety Manager - Band 7 - Full time - Permanent
Working across both Stockport NHS Foundation Trust and Tameside & Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trusts, the post holder will provide Fire Safety advice and support to all levels of the organisation (including the Trust Board).
The Postholder is responsible for the development of Trust Policy on Fire Safety interpreting the requirements of Legislation, NHS Fire Safety Policy and Guidance and to advise the Trust on implementation of Policy and Guidance and to monitor compliance against these.
Provide line management and ongoing professional support to the Fire Safety Officers (x2).
Oversee and co-ordinate a programme of Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) in accordance with HTM05-01 highlighting key risk areas for the Trusts whilst working collaboratively with the Operational Estate and Capital Estate Teams to develop plans to address and minimise risk.
Develop comprehensive training programmes on Fire Safety for all existing staff, new staff and staff who work with other organisations located in Trust Premises.
Liaison with External agencies including Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue Service (GMFRS)
Main duties of the job
Oversee and co-ordinate a programme of Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) and audits across the Stockport NHS Foundation Trust and Tameside & Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust estate (including community premises).
Assess and comment on all fire safety proposals across the Trusts and ensure compliance with appropriate standards, highlighting any risks/concerns via the governance structure as appropriate.
Survey fire safety installations and research new developments in fire technology to achieve improvements where necessary.
Co-ordinate and undertake an annual schedule of fire drills/desktop exercises across the Stockport NHS Foundation Trust and Tameside & Glossop Integrated Trust estate. Witnessing the effectiveness of evacuation arrangements and recommend remedial actions when necessary.
Working in collaboration with the Learning & Development Team develop a Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to ensure Trust staff receive suitable and sufficient fire safety training at appropriate intervals (as per the requirements of HTM 05-03: Operational Provisions. Part A: Training).
Oversee and support the delivery of the Fire Safety Training programme for staff (including the delivery of 'Ad-Hoc' training when required).
Attend training courses and seminars as appropriate to maintain personal knowledge of fire safety at the highest level.
Investigate and prepare reports including recommendations for incidents of fire across the Trust.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time Senior Therapy Assistant to join the Neurosciences team within Therapy Services at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham. The post is 18.75 hours -- shift patterns can be discussed.
The successful post holder will support the acute rehabilitation and discharge planning of patients across the inpatient wards, working alongside a team of registered Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists. The successful candidate will work closely with other Therapy Assistants to ensure there are appropriate and skilled management of patients physical and cognitive needs, as outlined by the registered therapists on the ward.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wishes to develop their clinical knowledge and skills to support patients to optimise their independence while in hospital and on discharge. The ideal candidate should have good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, and should be able to demonstrate initiative in managing their own caseload.
The ability to work as part of a team is essential to this post, as well as to be able to work to an assigned caseload independently.
You will be supported with regular supervision, learning opportunities, competency handbook and in-service training.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Support Time and Recovery Worker (ST&R) to join our Assertive Outreach Team within the Community Mental Health Service.
The Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Directorate provides inpatient and community-based support to patients and carers while also supporting the wellbeing of staff.
The Community Mental Health Service interventions are provided to people living in the community who require support with severe and enduring mental health conditions.
As a Support Time and Recovery Worker (ST&R) within our Assertive Outreach Team, you will be an integral part of the Community Mental Health Service, delivering evidence-based interventions to a caseload of individuals with mental health difficulties. A collaborative, recovery-focused and strengths-based approach is essential to this role. The post holder will be supporting individuals in their community environment as well as providing in-reach to those who are in-patients to support them to return home.
The successful candidate will work within a Community Mental Health Service that has challenged the traditional boundaries between primary and secondary care in partnership with the Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector. Liaison with a wide range of partners is central to the role.
You must have a full driving licence and have permanent access to their own transport with appropriate business insurance.
Main duties of the job
- Deliver recovery-focused and evidence-based interventions to individuals with severe and enduring mental health difficulties.
- Support service users to work towards goals identified within their care plans and promote engagement with treatment and recovery.
- Provide practical and emotional support to individuals within their homes and community settings.
- Support patients during transitions between inpatient and community services, helping to facilitate successful discharge and recovery.
- Develop therapeutic and professional relationships with service users, carers and families.
- Promote independence, wellbeing and social inclusion through person-centred support.
- Identify early signs of relapse or deterioration and escalate concerns appropriately to qualified team members.
- Work collaboratively with a wide range of partner agencies including healthcare providers, housing services, voluntary organisations and social care teams.
- Support service users to access services relating to accommodation, benefits, advocacy and community resources where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to service development, quality improvement and evaluation activities.
- Participate in supervision, team meetings and ongoing training and development opportunities.
