Job summary
Our Kitchen Assistants support our Chef Manager in the preparation of meals and beverages and participate in the overall maintenance of a safe and hygienic environment. They will ensure a professional, efficient and prompt service is provided to patients, visitors, staff and volunteers at all times.
28 hours to include alternate weekends salary £18,506 + 30% enhancement for Saturdays and 60% for Sundays
Hours 7 hour shifts (9am to 4pm weekdays) (8am - 3pm weekends)
Holiday -25 days (increasing to 27 after 5 years and 31 after 9 years) + public holidays (FTE)
Main duties of the job
- To cooperate with the Chef Manager with regard to compliance with all food safety legislation relating to the catering industry, with all Health & safety legislation and with the rules, regulations etc.
- To assist in the preparation of fresh food, cook as required and correctly store food items
- Prepare, cook and serve meals for patients as requested i.e. breakfast, lunch and dinner maintaining a high quality standard at all times.
- Be prepared to run the kitchen on weekends (low covers at weekends)
- To prepare, make and bake products for internal and external events
- Ensure dining room is prepared for meals i.e. tables, condiments, cutlery etc. Prepare trays for patients as required.
- Cash handling using till and electronic payment methods
- To liaise with our nursing staff re specific patient requirements
- To participate in the completion of all necessary records as required.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene control and practices at all times. Follow regular cleaning schedules as per hospice documentation. Ensure the kitchen and all cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery is kept clean, ready to use and is appropriately stored
- To ensure that all washing up duties are carried out immediately.
- Ensure safety of patients and staff by regularly checking equipment is in good working order. Report any faulty equipment to the Chef Manager.

Job summary
THIS POST IS FIXED TERM 9 MONTHS DUE TO MATERNITY COVER.
We currently have an opportunity in our Domestic Services Department at Glan Clwyd Hospital for enthusiastic, motivated individuals.
The Domestic Services team have responsibility for ensuring that standards of environmental cleanliness are maintained and we are seeking additional Domestic Assistants to carry out these duties within our hospital.
Previous experience of working within the cleaning industry will be beneficial but it is not essential as the successful candidates will receive on the job training and supervision. Uniform/protective clothing will also be provided.
Part time post (27.5 hours a week) - working Monday to Friday 8am - 1.30pm. Fixed term for 9 months.

Main duties of the job
- Maintain standards of cleanliness of floors, furniture and fittings, as well as removal of marks from walls/partitions/doors etc in accordance with set methods, standards and frequencies.
- Operate cleaning equipment, including electrical in order to achieve the specified standards of cleanliness.
- Handling of refuse for disposal purposes.
- Replenish supplies of paper hand towels, toilet tissue, soap and hand moisturiser as required.
- Monitor the stocks of cleaning materials, refuse bags, toilet tissue, paper hand towels, hand soap and hand moisturiser and request as supply as necessary.
- Organise own day to day workload within work scheduling guidelines to ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed to the set standard.
- Complete documentation to record 'full clean' completed.
- Demonstrate an understanding of specified cleaning methods and frequencies.
- Communicate with Domestic Supervisors, patients, visitors, ward and departmental staff in order to achieve the specified standard of cleanliness.
- Ensure compliance with Health Board and Departmental policies, procedure and good practices.

Job summary
We are looking for enthusiastic motivated individual to work in our busy Catering Department at Rochdale Infirmary and associated sites who will be primarily working between retail and patient catering regeneration of frozen meals and preparation of simple foods such as breakfast items, sandwiches and salads.
This involves working directly with patients some of whom are compromised, on a one-to-one basis and being fully conversant with the nutritional state of all patients. You will advise patients on the various nutritional/dietary options available dependent upon the patient's needs.

- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and cleanliness in line with Catering Food Standards Policy and legislation.

- Prepare, plate, and distribute patient meals, accurately probe and record food temperatures per HACCP procedures.

We currently have an opportunity in our Domestic Services Department at Glan Clwyd Hospital for enthusiastic, motivated individuals.
The Domestic Services team have responsibility for ensuring that standards of environmental cleanliness are maintained and we are seeking additional Domestic Assistants to carry out these duties within our hospital.
Previous experience of working within the cleaning industry will be beneficial but it is not essential as the successful candidates will receive on the job training and supervision. Uniform/protective clothing will also be provided.

Main duties of the job

General and sub-speciality ophthalmology services are provided at the Eye, Ear, and Mouth Unit (EEMU), a modern, purpose- built facility attached to Maidstone Hospital, with outpatient facilities provided at Tunbridge Wells, Medway Maritime and Sevenoaks Hospitals in a "hub and spoke" model.

We are looking for a motivated enthusiastic, and hard-working Respiratory Specialist Practice Nurse to join our team. We are able to offer an exciting opportunity to join our Occupational Therapy Team based at Royal Lancaster Infirmary as a Specialist Occupational Therapist.
The role includes a specialist caseload across Integrated Community Stroke team, Acute frailty & extended stay wards, medical, surgical, orthopaedics and Emergency Department, with opportunities to work alongside our Discharge to Assess service.
Knowledge and experience within acute inpatient care, working to facilitate safe and effective care and hospital discharge. Your caseload will be a combination of ward-based work in addition to some community visits.
You will continue to develop your knowledge and experience in the assessment, treatment and goal setting with patients presenting with varied physical conditions, and will be motivated to join us in improving our patients' experiences and outcome.
This could be an opportunity for a developmental role during the first 6-12 months in post. Working initially at Band 5 level, you would develop your knowledge and skills in line with Band 6 Specialist Occupational Therapist competencies, progressing to Band 6 upon satisfactory completion.
Main duties of the job
The role will involve holding a specialist caseload on the rotational clinical area, whilst supporting other Occupational therapists and the wider therapy team with their caseloads.
You will have broad previous experience within an acute inpatient, admission avoidance or community-based rehabilitation services.

All three main hospitals provide a range of planned care including outpatients, diagnostics, therapies,daycase and inpatient surgery. In addition, a range of local outreach services and diagnostics are provided from community facilities across Morecambe Bay.

Job summary
Law Medical is seeking to recruit an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join its multidisciplinary primary care team. The role will involve delivering high-quality, patient-centred clinical care, supporting the assessment, diagnosis, and management of a wide range of acute and long-term conditions, while working collaboratively with GPs and other healthcare professionals.
The Advanced Nurse Practitioner will work autonomously within their scope of practice, contributing to clinical decision-making, prescribing, and care planning. The post holder will also play an active role in supporting the wider multidisciplinary team and contributing to the ongoing development and objectives of the practice.
Main duties of the job
As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, you will work autonomously within your scope of practice to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care. Key responsibilities include managing acute and chronic conditions, conducting health assessments, running specialist clinics, prescribing medications, and promoting health and disease prevention. You will also contribute to clinical policy development, support safeguarding, and play an active role in clinical audits and service improvement across the practice.

Clinical Responsibilities:
In accordance with the practice timetable, the ANP will work autonomously, delivering care within their scope of practice to the patient population. Contributing towards clinical areas such as health promotion, chronic disease management, health prevention, well-women and well man clinics as well as supporting the management team in the reviewing of clinical policy and procedure.
