Job summary
Ash Tree House is currently recruiting enthusiastic, forward thinking GP Assistant.This role is funded through the Additional Roles Recruitment Scheme. This is an exciting opportunity for a General Practice Assistant (GPA) to join our friendly and dynamic team. The position is based at Ash Tree House, Kirkham.
The post is permanent working 25.5hrs pw.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for highly motivated individuals who will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide support across the Practice in:
Improving patient access and releasing highly qualified staff to concentrate on treating and managing patients with more complex conditions.
Improving patient flow within surgery hours, increasing the time efficiency of appointments, and reduction of waiting times.
Reduce time spent by GPs on managing correspondence.
You will be expected to develop links with local GP practices, colleagues within the service and local communities to ensure delivery of integrated, patient focused care, demonstrating flexibility in the role and a caring attitude towards patients.
You will have excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills together with a good working knowledge of primary care and the challenges facing patient care in the NHS.
Our GP Assistant will support the smooth running of clinics by performing routine administration and clinical tasks on behalf of the GP. They could support the GPs/ANPs with urgent admin such as fast tracks, x-rays, scans and referrals generated from our patients with an urgent acute condition but also support with urgent bloods, dressings and ECGs for these patients.
You will be assigned a GP Mentor and will follow an accredited training programme leading to award of the GP Assistant certificate.

There are 4 GP Principals working closely with 5 salaried GP's and a dedicated Practice team which includes an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, a team of Practice Nurses, a Clinical Pharmacist, Counsellors and support staff.
The Practice is also supported by Community staff including a Community Matron, District Nurses and Health Visitors.
The Practice is also a member of the Kirkham & Wesham PCN.

Track and record evidence of your experience against the national competency framework

Attend internal meetings as required.
Work in accordance with Practice policies, including the equal opportunities policy and practice.
Attend any training courses and supervision sessions as required.

Participate in investigation of incidents and events as required.

Collect data for audit purposes and use clinical audit to monitor quality in the service and implement change according to findings.
Contribute to the effectiveness of the team by reflecting on own and team activities and making suggestions on ways to improve and enhance the teams performance.
Work effectively with individuals in other agencies to meet patients needs.

Under the Data Protection Act 2018 (alongside the EU General Data Protection Regulations) the post holder must maintain the confidentiality of information about patients and staff. The work is of a confidential nature and information gained must not be communicated to other persons except in the recognized course of duty. Infection Prevention and Control

Job summary
Rising Brook Surgery is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the practice as a medical administrators (reception). As a member of frontline staff you will be the first point of contact for our service users and visitors. You will need to be non-judgmental with excellent communication and listening skills.
You must be able to deal objectively and professionally in a calm and approachable manner when liaising with service users, staff, healthcare professionals and outside agencies. The role requires flexibility to meet the need of the practice. There may be occasions when additional hours are required to provide holidays and sickness cover. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of integrated acute and community frailty services and to support high-quality care for older people across East Sussex.
The successful applicant will work as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering comprehensive frailty services to a local population of approximately 544,000 people. The role focuses on the early assessment and management of older patients living with frailty, supporting rapid clinical decision-making and enabling safe, effective care pathways that promote independence and avoid unnecessary hospital admission where possible.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will contribute to the Acute Frailty Team across several clinical areas including the emergency department, clinical decision unit and acute medical unit, as well as inpatient wards and the virtual frailty ward. The role also includes supporting community-based assessments and working closely with discharge teams and community services to facilitate safe transitions from hospital to home.
Key duties include providing consultant leadership in frailty assessment, participating in multidisciplinary ward rounds and board rounds, delivering outpatient clinics aligned with the post holder's special interests, and supporting the development of surgical liaison services for frail surgical patients. The consultant will also assess patients referred by other specialties and contribute to service improvement initiatives across the frailty pathway.
The successful candidate will take part in the General Internal Medicine on-call rota alongside consultant colleagues and will contribute to teaching, clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement activities within the department. There will be opportunities to develop specialist interests and to support research and education within the Trust and in partnership with regional academic institutions.

The Arun NMHT is structured into two assessment and treatment teams--one serving Bognor Regis (this post) and the other covering Littlehampton and surrounding areas. Each team is aligned with local GP surgeries to support close collaboration with Primary Care colleagues. The Bognor Regis team benefits from the support of another Consultant Psychiatrist and a full-time Specialty Doctor.
You'll be part of a wider network of NMHTs across Coastal West Sussex, including teams in Chichester, Worthing, and Adur (Shoreham). Inpatient services are provided at Oaklands Centre in Chichester and Meadowfield Hospital in Worthing, with access to Amber Ward, a mixed PICU at Langley Green Hospital in Crawley. The area is also supported by two Crisis and Home Treatment Teams and a dedicated Enhanced Community Rehabilitation Service.
All services are consultant-led, and the successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues across these teams to ensure continuity of care and service excellence.

Main duties of the job

About us
St George's Healthcare NHS Trust is one of the largest healthcare facilities in the United Kingdom with over 1100 beds. Based in Tooting, it treats 80,000 inpatients/day cases and over 300,000 outpatients annually. The Trust employs more than 5000 people, including 700 medical and dental staff. Main duties of the job

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in the development and expansion of our nationally recognised Lipid Service. The appointee will be expected to contribute to out-patient duties in the Institute of Metabolic Science of the University of Cambridge. There is no on-call rota.
The successful applicant will be able to offer an expert opinion on a range of dyslipidaemias and the management of atherosclerotic cardiovascular risk more generally and be expected to monitor patients receiving any of the lipid modifying agents including the injectable treatments. We are looking for someone with a minimum of one year's experience working in administration within an NHS patient/customer focused environment with excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure accurate and timeous information sharing across the multi-disciplinary team.
An awareness of Government Access targets would be advantageous but not essential. You must be well organised, flexible and able to work on your own initiative and demonstrate confidence in independent decision making.
The successful candidate for the post will work Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, although you will need to be flexible to the needs of the service and be committed to high quality patient care. You will be based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital site.

In MPFT Children and Families Mental Health Function, we work with young people who have a wide range of needs using an inclusive, person-centred approach. The Children's Learning Disability team offers: support and intervention for young people with emotional and physical healthcare needs who may be at risk of placement breakdown or hospital admission.
You will be responsible for the management of a complex caseload, which
includes, specialist assessment (within service specification), care planning in
conjunction with service user and carer, evaluation of individual treatment
plans for CYP with learning disabilities.
Main duties of the job
- Be responsible for the assessment of mental health and/or medical risk factors relating to children and young people, including co-morbidity (e.g. suicidality, self-harming behaviours and medical risk associated with mental health issues)
- To undertake physical health monitoring as appropriate i.e height, weight, blood pressure etc and be responsible for identifying appropriate action to be taken

Main purpose of the role.To support the five GP partners, to manage a busy and interesting clinical caseload. The appointee will also have the opportunity to take part in leading on key disease areas, monitoring trends in treatment, staff training and prescribing, assisting assist in developing appropriate healthcare services for a diverse, patient list, practice based commissioning, patient participation and health promotion. Clinical responsibilities.
In accordance with the practice timetable, as agreed, the post-holder will make him/her-self available to undertake a variety of duties including surgery consultations and emergencies, telephone consultations and queries, triaging, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, patient test results, patient medical reports and examinations e.g. Insurance Companies on behalf of the Practice, referral letters NHS/private, paperwork and correspondence in a timely manner;
Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other health care workers within the organisation;
Recording clear and contemporaneous I.T. based consultation notes to agreed standards;
Collecting data for audit purposes.
Out-of-hours OOH as agreed by the partnership.
Compiling and issuing computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions avoiding hand-written prescriptions whenever possible;
Prescribing in accordance with locally agreed or national guidelines.
In general the post-holder will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.

Job summary
We are looking for an experienced Estates Electrical Technician to join our Estates team and play a key role in maintaining a safe, reliable and effective hospital environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled electrical technician with strong installation and maintenance experience who enjoys working in a demanding environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality technical services.
Main duties of the job
As an Estates Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out a broad range of electrical installation, maintenance, testing and repair work across the hospital.
Working as part of the Estates team, you will help minimise equipment failures and disruption by undertaking effective planned preventative maintenance, diagnostics and reactive repairs. You will work across both new and existing electrical installations and provide technical support to colleagues and contractors where required.
