Main duties of the job
Join the Agincare Homes Holdings team as a Night Care Assistant in Rochester. This permanent role offers a salary of £12.76 per hour. No prior experience is necessary as fully funded training and excellent development opportunities are provided, allowing you to achieve qualifications up to QCF Level 5. As a Care Assistant, you will be providing personal care and support, assisting with medication administration and promoting residents' independence and well-being. The role involves working as part of a team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. You'll need a minimum of 12 months' right to work in the UK.

Delivering and overseeing high-quality support for individuals with learning disabilities and/or difficulties, autism, and complex needs. This will be across two services in Bordon. We also support individuals in our Outreach Services in the local community.
In this role, youll support people to live as independently as possible within their own home, promoting choice, control, and inclusion in everyday life. Youll play a key role in ensuring each person receives tailored, person-centred support that reflects their goals, preferences, and aspirations.
Reporting to the Service Manager, youll divide your time between hands-on support and leadership or administrative responsibilities.Youll support the coordination of the service, guide and mentor staff, and ensure the service runs smoothly, safely, and in line with best practice and regulatory standards. This is a varied and rewarding role where you can have a direct and lasting impact.
About the people youll be supporting:Youll be supporting individuals with learning disabilities and/or difficulties, autism, and complex needs. Each person has their own unique personality, communication style, routines, and level of independence. Some people enjoy being active in their local community, attending activities, or building social connections, while others prefer quieter, structured, home-based routines.
Your role is to enable each person to live the life they choosesupporting them with daily living skills, communication, emotional regulation, and decision-making, while promoting independence wherever possible. Youll use a person-centred and proactive approach, including positive behaviour support where appropriate, to ensure individuals feel safe, understood, and valued in their own home.
Youll also work closely with families, carers, and external professionals to provide consistent, high-quality support, ensuring that each persons needs are met in a holistic and respectful way.
Where youll be working:This full-time role is based in our supported living services in Bordon Hampshire.Youll combine shift-based support with dedicated time for leadership and administrative duties, playing a key role in maintaining high standards and ensuring the service operates effectively.

Main duties of the job
