Job summary
We are looking to employ a Salaried GP to join our friendly and well-established practice, where you will be part of a dynamic, patient-focused team. We offer a flexible and sustainable workload, competitive salary (BMA rates), and excellent support. Whether you are newly qualified or an experienced GP, we would love to hear from you.
We are situated close to the A55 (junction 33) and the magnificent North Wales Coast. Our team comprises of: 1 GP Principle and 1 salaried GP , 1 Part-time ANP, 3 Part time Practice Nurses and a supportive administration team all of whom provide excellent care for its 5400 patients. Our clinical system is Emis Web.
The successful candidate will be entitled to Six weeks annual leave plus one weeks study leave to allow continued professional development which is encouraged.
Main duties of the job
- SESSIONS: 4 to 6 Sessions per week
As a Salaried General Practitioner, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care as part of our friendly and supportive clinical team. Your role will involve a mix of face-to-face and telephone consultations, as well as home visits where necessary.Key Responsibilities:
- The post-holder will be expected to deliver a high standard of clinical care to patients via telephone triage, face to face consultations and on-call cover. Other duties will depend on the skills of the applicant.
- Managing a mixture of acute, chronic, and complex conditions within the scope of general practice.
- Conducting patient consultations, assessments, and treatments, ensuring a patient-focused approach.
- Supporting preventative healthcare, chronic disease management, and minor illness care.
- Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, including nurses, and allied health professionals.
- Contributing to clinical meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and practice development.
- The Principal GP supports its staff by encouraging teamwork and appropriate training to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to clinical governance standards.
- You will report to the Lead GP/Practice Manager and will be supported by a team of experienced clinicians and administrative staff.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, committed Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Allt Goch Medical Centre.
This Advanced Nurse Practitioner role will involve working alongside our team of GPs, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses and a supportive administration team to provide care and treatment to patients with either long term conditions or undiagnosed undifferentiated diagnoses.
The successful Advanced Nurse Practitioner will work as an autonomous practitioner, diagnosing, managing, prescribing and discharging patients with illness or injury across all age groups including young children. This may be a mixture of face-to-face and telephone consultations
Main duties of the job

- Competitive salary; £35- £40 (DOE)

- Registered Adult Nurse registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC)
- Previous experience in the role of ANP is essential and

- Hold an Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification
- Can show evidence of using autonomous physical examination and assessment skills in practice
- Can demonstrate a broad and sound knowledge of complex and common conditions in primary care in both adults and children
