Main duties of the job
Your day in the life of a Healthcare Assistant
As a Healthcare Assistant at HealthHarmonie, you will be supporting our 2 Week Wait, Dermatology contract across Gloucester. You will be responsible for collecting stock and equipment for the clinic, setting up examination rooms for clinicians, and acting as a chaperone during patient consultations and procedures. Additionally, you will take on administrative duties, ensuring all reports are completed with outcomes and providing support related to administrative tasks. Your support will ensure the smooth functioning of the clinic and contribute to providing a compassionate and efficient healthcare experience for our patients.
Please note our service operates seven days a week and you will be required to work 5 out of 7 days. Shift patterns are generally between 07:00/07:30 - 17:30/18:00.
Our Clinic locations are nationwide and include Manchester, Birmingham, Hereford, Warwickshire, Shropshire, Telford, Worcestershire, Stoke, Staffordshire, Doncaster, Nottinghamshire, Wrexham, Gloucestershire, Reading, Frimley, Slough and Bassetlaw. This is a mobile role and you will be expected to travel to any of these site locations.

Main duties of the job
These are varied and rewarding roles for clinicians who are passionate about providing safe, compassionate and patient-centred care within general practice.
Applicants must have completed a minor illness course and a prescribing course. They must be confident working autonomously within their professional competence while recognising when to seek advice or clinical support.
The successful candidates must be prepared to work in minor illness clinics and undertake home visits as the practices visiting clinician, with GP support available. They must also be able to work one enhanced access session each week, although the day can be agreed flexibly.
You will work alongside our established team of Paramedic Practitioners, GPs and wider multidisciplinary team. Your role will include assessing and managing patients presenting with a broad range of minor illnesses, as well as undertaking home visits as the practices visiting clinician, with GP support available when required.
We are keen to support the successful candidates in continuing to develop their clinical knowledge, confidence and scope of practice.

This newly created role offers a genuine opportunity to improve outcomes for some of our most vulnerable patients whilst helping to ensure that care is coordinated, proactive and patient-centred.
Working closely with GPs, nurses, administrative colleagues and partner organisations, the successful candidate will play a key role in tracking patient pathways, coordinating care, supporting multidisciplinary working and ensuring important actions are completed.
We are looking for someone who is compassionate, organised and proactive, with excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing high-quality service. Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide dedicated coordination and administrative support across safeguarding, childhood immunisation and palliative care services.

Aspen Medical Practice is seeking an organised, compassionate and proactive Care Coordinator to provide dedicated support across three key areas:
- Safeguarding (approximately 50%)
- Childhood Immunisation Programmes (approximately 30%)
- Palliative Care Coordination (approximately 20%)
This is a new role designed to improve patient outcomes, strengthen governance processes, and support clinicians by coordinating care pathways and administrative processes.
The post holder will work closely with GPs, nurses, administrative colleagues, safeguarding leads, community services, hospices and other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive appropriate, timely and coordinated care.

As a Healthcare Assistant at HealthHarmonie, you will be supporting our 2 Week Wait, Dermatology contract across Gloucester. We are seeking an enthusiastic Salaried GP to join our friendly, forward-thinking team at Aspen Medical Practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a large, well-established training practice committed to high-quality patient care, clinician wellbeing and professional development.

Job Title: Salaried General Practitioner (GP) Contract Type: Permanent Sessions: 48 sessions per week (full-time or part-time)
Working Days: We aim to be flexible regarding session allocation and working patterns. To support patient demand and team continuity, we are particularly interested in candidates able to work on Mondays and/or Wednesdays and to participate in our extended access service.

The post-holder will provide high-quality, patient-centred primary care services to the registered population of Aspen Medical Practice in line with the GMS contract, national guidance, and evidence-based practice.
The successful candidate will:
- Deliver comprehensive general medical services to Aspen patients.
- Manage a varied clinical caseload within a primary care setting.
- Participate in the duty doctor rota within a supportive multidisciplinary team structure, with clear processes in place to ensure safe and manageable workload distribution.
- Contribute to clinical governance, audit, teaching, and practice development activities.
- Receive protected PLT time in line with the Practice PLT schedule.

4. Key Responsibilities
Clinical Duties
The post-holder will:
- Provide routine and urgent GP consultations, including telephone consultations and home visits where required.
- Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.
- Develop and implement patient-centred management plans in line with current clinical guidelines.
- Prescribe safely and appropriately in accordance with local prescribing guidance.
- Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records in line with GMC Good Medical Practice.
- Process prescriptions, clinical correspondence, test results, and associated paperwork in a timely manner in line with Practice administration guidelines.
- Refer patients appropriately to secondary care and community services.
- Support preventative healthcare, health promotion, and chronic disease management.
- Participate in care home and nursing home support where required.
- Supervise and support members of the multidisciplinary team including, but not limited to, nurses, pharmacists, non-clinical team members.
- Participate in on-call duties in accordance with the Salaried GP Job Plan.
