We are looking for an experienced and motivatedService Improvement Lead to join the Corporate Operations Team at Bradford Teaching Hospitals.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering some of the Trust's major improvement and transformation priorities. Working across clinical and corporate services, you will help teams understand complex problems, identify opportunities for improvement and turn ideas and evidence into practical changes that deliver measurable benefits for patients, staff and the organisation.
You will work closely with senior clinical and operational leaders across the Trust, supporting key programmes including Outpatient Optimisation and the Airedale & Bradford Collaboration of Acute Services (ABCAS), alongside other emerging improvement priorities.

Main duties of the job
The Service Improvement Lead will support a portfolio of complex improvement and transformation work across the Trust.
You will:
- Work with clinical and operational teams to identify, design and implement service improvements.
- Lead defined workstreams within major programmes, including Outpatient Optimisation and ABCAS.
- Use quantitative and qualitative data to understand performance, identify opportunities and support evidence-based decision making.
- Apply improvement and programme management approaches from initial diagnosis and planning through to implementation and benefits realisation.
- Build strong relationships with senior clinicians, managers and other stakeholders, using effective facilitation, communication and influencing skills to support change.
- Identify opportunities to improve quality, safety, patient access and experience, productivity and financial sustainability.
- Ensure programmes are well managed, with clear plans, risks, actions, governance and benefits tracking.
- Support and coach colleagues in the practical application of improvement tools and techniques.

We have a vacancy for an exceptionally organised and highly motivated individual with a background in epidemiology, statistics, data science, health geography, spatial epidemiology or a related quantitative discipline to work on the Healthy Urban Places programme within Born in Bradford.
Healthy Urban Places is a major UKRI-funded transdisciplinary research programme focused on understanding how local urban environments can be harnessed to improve population health and reduce inequalities. The successful candidate will contribute to research using cohort studies, linked routine data, spatial data and environmental data, with a particular focus on spatial and health inequalities.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will lead or contribute to analyses across three broad topic areas: housing, healthy environments, and urban heat islands. They will be responsible for preparing and analysing complex linked datasets, applying appropriate quantitative, spatial and/or quasi-experimental methods, and working with academic, NHS, local authority and community partners to ensure that findings inform policy and practice.
This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of the Born in Bradford Epistats team on a high-profile, applied population health research programme with the potential to generate evidence that directly informs place-based interventions and reduces health inequalities.

The post-holder will provide effective reception, administrative and clerical support duties across the directorate, on a regular rotational basis, between BRI main x-ray department (and including Maternity and Medical Physics) St. Luke's main x-ray department and Eccleshill Community Diagnostic Centre.
Please note this post is rotational and you may be required to cover hours on weekends and evenings. The service provides Admin cover Monday - Sunday 08:00 - 20:00.
Main duties of the job
- The Imaging Directorate comprises Radiology departments at BRI, Eccleshill CDC and SLH sites. There are approximately 40 admin staff providing admin, clerical and secretarial support, along with radiologists, radiographers, nurses, sonographers and supporting staff.
- Answer telephone calls and deal with or appropriately field any queries or enquiries.
- Schedule patient appointments and handling cancellations.
- Registering patient referral data onto an electronic patient management system, being both timely and accurate.
- Some first line vetting of referral card patient data set and following up on any missing details.
- Enter data from the referral card patient data set.
- Attend and participate in Admin team meetings.
- Provide admin cover for other sections as required.
- Participate in the Individual Appraisal process.
- Make patient appointments liaising with patients, clinician's healthcare professionals and GP surgeries.

A vacancy has arisen to appoint a highly motivated, innovative and adaptable individual to join Children's Epilepsy Service at Bradford Teaching Hospitals.
This post involves working as part of the team within a busy Paediatric Community Epilepsy service. The successful candidate will work as part of a Multidisciplinary Team, and includes but is not limited to undertaking home visits in the Bradford area, assisting in outpatient clinics, delivering patient and staff education and training.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of a defined caseload and will provide specialised nursing care, advice and education. They will need to demonstrate a good knowledge and understanding of childhood epilepsy.

The post holder will also be expected support families at diagnosis and throughout the child and families' journey, empowering them to be confident and competent with their condition.
