Job summary
Burnley Group Practice are looking to recruit an experienced HR Administrator to take up a new role within the Practice. You will be educated to a high standard and hold an HR qualification and/or have appropriate relevant HR experience across a wide range of employee relations. Working closely with Senior Managers and Staff Lead Partner, this new role will provide a comprehensive HR advice and support service ensuring compliance with employment legislation, polices and procedures and supporting effective people management.
This role will be predominantly based at St Peter's Centre, Burnley and is being offered 30-35 hours per week to be worked Monday to Friday. We offer a competitive salary and a range of benefits including 6 weeks annual leave plus Bank Holidays, NHS Pension Scheme and free parking.

Main duties of the job
As HR Administrator you will work autonomously and be the first point of contact to provide timely, accurate and practical HR advice and guidance to managers and employees. You will support Managers with a range of employee relations matters as well as recruitment and induction, preparation of employee Personal Files, absence management and disciplinary and grievance procedures.
Although a new role, it will, in some part, be replacing the retiring HR & Development Manager.

Main duties of the job
Working in a well established multi-disciplinary team, You will be an experienced and registered Nurse, Paramedic or Physiotherapist with the knowledge, skills and ability to practice autonomously without direct supervision. Job summary
Burnley Group Practice is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and conscientious GP Receptionist/Care Navigator to join our increasing, fantastic Reception Team. If you enjoy working in a busy environment helping people and listening to them with the intention of trying to figure out how you can help them to access the services they need, then this role is for you.
You will be the first point of contact for patients via telephone and face to face dealing with a range of queries. You must feel comfortable with technology and with change since the NHS is required to constantly change to meet the emerging needs of our population. You will have a calm, confident and helpful manner, excellent communication skills along with the ability to problem solve and work under pressure. You will be educated to a good standard and must have excellent IT skills.
The role is offered at 30 hours per week to be worked as part of a rota covering 8am- 6.30pm Monday to Friday. Our Reception shifts are 8am - 2pm and 1.30pm - 6.30pm and successful candidates will be require to work a mixture of both shifts. Flexibility will be required to cover periods of sickness and annual leave.

Main duties of the job
The role of a GP receptionist/care navigator is essentially a customer service role. Our patients need to access medical services, but are not always aware of the wide range of skills and services available within our team as well as in the wider Burnley area.
Some of the time we are unable to offer exactly what a patient wants, exactly when they want it and it would be your main task to meet their needs in the most efficient manner which often includes directing them to services outside the Practice such as Pharmacy. The way in which you communicate what can be offered will make you a good Care Navigator.
The Care Navigator role is one of the many varied roles within our Practice Team and you must be able to work as a team player but also using your initiative within the confines of the Practice Policies and Procedures. The successful candidate must have strong IT skills and be either able our EMIS clinical software or happy to learn (full training will be given), and have a confident telephone manner and good, face to face interpersonal skills.
Proven experience of working in general practice and/or customer services is essential.

Job summary
Burnley Group Practice is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and conscientious Clinical Admin Assistant to join our fantastic admin team. (Previous applicants need not apply).
This is a key role in our Team and if you enjoy helping people and have an eye for detail then this role is for you.
Working as part of the admin team, you will have specific responsibilities processing SARS (Subject Access Requests), summarising patient records and supporting the admin work for the Safeguarding Lead. You will take on other clinical admin work as necessary to support colleagues and assist with the smooth flow of information, contributing to the provision of data for clinical registers and QOF/Quality reports.
You will need to feel comfortable with technology, and also with change since the NHS is required to constantly change to meet the emerging needs of our population. You will have a calm, confident and helpful manner with excellent communication skills along with the ability to problem solve and work under pressure. You will be educated to a good standard and must have excellent IT and keyboard skills.
The role is offered over 30-35 hours per week to be worked over 5 days Monday to Friday and flexibility will be required to cover periods of sickness and annual leave.

Main duties of the job
Working as part of the Clinical Admin team, the postholder will work closely with clinical colleagues in order to support the smooth flow of information in order to contribute to the provision of data for clinical registers and QOF reports, SARS and summarising patient records. This role will also provide a admin support for the Safeguarding Lead and QOF groups and other clinical administrative work as necessary. You will have regular patient contact dealing with queries and passing on information to and for patients and regular contact with other NHS organisations. Other clinical admin work may also be undertaken subject to the needs of the Practice.
As part of a large Practice Team you must be able to work as a team player but also use your initiative within the confines of the Practice Policies and Procedures. The successful candidate must have strong IT skills and be either able to use our EMIS clinical software or happy to learn, have excellent keyboard skills and have a confident telephone manner and good, face to face interpersonal skills.
Proven experience of working in general practice and/or customer services as well as secretarial/admin skills are essential.

Burnley Group Practice is a large training practice based over three sites in Burnley - at St Peter's Centre, on Manchester Road and in Kiddrow Lane Health Centre. Staff may be required to work at all three sites subject to the needs of the Practice.
