We are looking to recruit Hotel Services Domestic Assistants across Powys. Our team of Domestic Assistants play a crucial part in the cleaning and domestic support side of the Hospital, assisting our Clinical teams by providing a clean and safe working environment for our Patients, Staff and Visitors. You will support the local delivery of hotel services domestic and associated facilities activities, ensuring that they are delivered at the levels agreed and that they meet with full compliance with all appropriate legislation and local policies and procedures. You will need to be self-motivated, have a flexible approach to work, be able to work as part of a team and have the ability to work on your own initiative. Previous experience is an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be given. Our Bank Domestic Assistants are invaluable to us and in return for their dedication and commitment, we offer the following benefits:- Access to a temporary staffing booking team and an online self-booking system with priority booking of shifts over agency workers;

The new role of Executive Director of Delivery, a non-voting member of the board, will be the principal strategic adviser to the Chief Executive and Board. Salus Medical Services is looking to appoint an interim chair to lead us through the next phase of our development. Main duties of the job

The role supports care closer to home, appropriate use of secondary care services and timely access to dermatology assessment. An opportunity has arisen for an E-Rostering System Administrator to join the Trust's E-Rostering Team at Band 4. This is an 18 month fixed term post providing business as usual cover to maintain operational continuity and ensure essential e-rostering activities continue to be delivered effectively.
Main duties of the job
The E-Rostering Administrator is responsible for maintaining accurate and up to date Medical and Dental workforce data within the Trust's electronic rostering system. Job summary
The successful candidate will join our small but dynamic team serving University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust, based on the Derby site. We manage the internal quality control and external quality assessment for all of these systems within our quality improvement role and work closely with other clinical services to develop and extend point-of-care clinical services to patients across Derbyshire.
This is a part time post for 22.5 hours a week.
Candidates will have to be able to demonstrate strong communication skills, must be self-motivated and organised in order to work as part of a flexible team. Previous experience of working within apoint-of-care team and/or providing clinical services directly to patients would be an advantage.
The laboratory operates a Monday to Friday service and ensures the provision of point-of-care services for clinical teams are available throughout the year.
We also require the successful applicant to travel to locations within Derbyshire and Staffordshire, so a driving licence is essential.
Main duties of the job
The Point-of-Care Technologies department hold sweat testing and breath hydrogen clinics regularly each week in clinical settings, so direct patient care skills are desirable for this post. We also handle a wide range of direct and telephone queries, so interpersonal skills are the key to success.
The point-of-care analytics we support on a daily basis are: GEM5000 blood gas analysers, Freestyle Precision Pro blood glucose and ketones meters, CoaguChek Pro II INR meters, Haemoglobin meters, Affinion 2 HbA1c analysers, StatSensor eGFR analyser, Wescor Macroduct sweat collection system, Abbott ID NOW Influenza A&B.
- Communicate authorised test results by telephone and/or in writing to service users, giving advice on sample/specimens and the tests to be performed.
- To inform requesting sources of incorrect requests and samples so that these can be actioned.
- To carry out training sessions for staff in the correct and safe use of point of care technologies
- Assist with the induction and training of new laboratory staff within the section.

We have an exciting opportunity for an ACP to join our team in beautiful Herefordshire.
We are looking for an ACP to work mainly within our Urgent Community Response (UCR) team with frequent work on our Virtual Wards and Complex Long Term Conditions services. There may also be the opportunity to work flexibly across our frailty wards in our community hospitals too.
In our community teams, we support people in their own homes (including residential care) bringing healthcare they need to them, offering holistic assessment /interventions, working closely with the wider community teams to ensure the person in our care has a smooth journey through our services, receiving the high quality health care that we all want for ourselves and our families.
Working patterns will be between 8am and 8pm over 7 days per week. You will be responsible for managing patients in their own homes to help avoid hospital admission.
The role will primarily be working in our UCR/ Virtual Wards teams but there will be need to cover the Complex Long Term Conditions ACP service and some opportunity to work with our Community Hospitals also.
Band 6-8a dependant on experience (preference for candidate who already holds MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice and has experience in the field. (Consideration will be given for the right candidate with extensive experience relevant to our speciality, to complete the MSc via an apprentice/training pathway within our team).
Main duties of the job
To practice as highly specialist clinician for patients with complex health conditions and/or at risk of imminent hospital admission. To offer holistic assessment and treatment for patients in their own home (whenever appropriate) to maximise health and wellbeing and minimise reliance on in-patient services and primary care physicians.
You will use your core skills to work to the full scope of our practice to ensure the most effective treatment and possible outcomes possible.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Practice Nurse to join our friendly GP practice for 10 hours per week, working on Fridays.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Practice Nurse looking for a regular, part-time role within a supportive and well-established practice team.

Main duties of the job

You will support patients with the management of their health conditions, provide appropriate education and self-management advice, undertake relevant monitoring and investigations, and ensure patients receive appropriate follow-up or onward referral when required.
You will work autonomously within your professional scope of practice, whilst having the support of the wider practice team and access to GP colleagues when clinical advice or escalation is required.
You will also contribute to clinical governance, accurate record keeping, safeguarding, infection prevention and quality improvement within the practice.
