Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity within our Aseptics Unit for Senior Pharmacy Assistants to support the growth of the department.
You will work as part of a team, within the Aseptic department, providing a high quality, flexible and responsive service.
You will aseptically prepare injections ready for patient administration, including chemotherapy (cytotoxic), radiopharmaceuticals and general intravenous drugs.
Previous experience of working in a cleanroom environment is desirable, but not essential.
We are committed to provide a supportive environment with opportunities for training and personal development. In the future there is a possibility for a Science Manufacturing Technician apprenticeship to enhance career progress.
Consideration will be given for strong candidates who may not meet the essential criteria to undertake this role on a developmental basis with set competency targets. Roles offered on a development basis will be banded lower than originally advertised until competency targets are met.

Main duties of the job
Aseptically manufacture named patient and batch products following procedures and worksheets.
Assist in the supervision of the day-to-day workload within the Aseptic Unit.
Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of the facility and equipment supporting the manufacturing process and to assist senior staff in demonstrating particular duties to junior and rotational staff.

Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic HCPC State Registered Biomedical Scientist to join the Clinical Biochemistry team within our busy, supportive, and forward-thinking Blood Sciences department.
This vacancy is offered as a 10-month secondment at Band 6.
The successful candidate will be primarily based at the Bedford site, with flexibility to work at the Luton & Dunstable site when required to support service needs. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain specialist expertise, with comprehensive training and strong support for ongoing professional development.
Once training is complete, the post holder will participate in the 24/7 shift rota across both sites, as needed.
Our department is UKAS accredited and approved for IBMS/HCPC training. We are also one of the few organisations accredited by the National School of Healthcare Science to deliver Clinical Biochemistry, Haematology, and Transfusion Science training within the clinical sciences.
We remain committed to continually enhancing our services, including expanding on-site testing capabilities and strengthening integration with wider clinical teams.
Main duties of the job
As a Specialist Biomedical Scientist within the Clinical Biochemistry department, the post holder will:

Main duties of the job
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be providing a medicines management service to patients within the prison with the professional support of a prison service pharmacist. You will administer medicines to patients against a valid prescription, ensuring this is taken correctly, provide advice to patients about the appropriate use of medicines and promote healthy lifestyles to aid their rehabilitation.
You will dispense prescriptions and stock items, whilst supervising assistants when in the dispensary. There will also be elements of stock control involved in your role, such as undertaking stock top-up services and reviewing expiry dates and storage facilities for all medicines, reporting any deficiencies to the prison service pharmacist.

The Leeds Pharmaceutical Warehouse service is predominantly concerned with receipt, storage and issue of medicines orders, with associated stock control activities.
The successful candidates must be pro-active and flexible in their approach to working within this busy department and other areas in the Stores and Distribution Services and have excellent organisational skills.
Why you should join our TeamThese posts will involve working with a small team of Band 2 Pharmacy Support workers, training to pick and assemble ward stock orders in the Warehouse and also when necessary learning how to Top-up wards with stock medication, delivering and putting the stock away for the ward or department.

For all posts, this will involve working across ALL sites at Leeds Teaching Hospitals as required.

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Practitioner Psychologist to join the Lambeth Community Drug and Alcohol Service (LCDAS), a multidisciplinary service providing specialist support to adults experiencing substance use difficulties and co-occurring mental health needs. As our services grow we now need to add to our Service team.

In this role, you will work closely with our ward-based, clinical pharmacy team to help ensure patients receive their medications safely, efficiently and on time. This role would ideally suit an experienced or newly qualified pharmacy dispenser who is looking for a new challenge. This vacancy is to be based at the Dewsbury site.
You will have already successfully completed an NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy and Dispensing Services (or a GPhC recognised equivalent) and have experience of working in either a community, or hospital pharmacy dispensary. We would like you to have a positive, proactive attitude and genuine passion for patient care, a strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage a busy workload whilst working both independently and as part of a team. You will also need to be confident and have clear communication skills.
There will be some weekend and Bank Holiday working on a rota basis. You may also be required to work occasionally at other sites within the Mid Yorkshire Hospitals.
Main duties of the job
As a key member of the Medicines Optimisation team, you will play an essential role in delivering a high-quality, ward-based pharmacy service by:
- Supporting patients directlyreviewing any medicines they have brought to hospital with them, ensuring they are safe to use during admission, confirming supplies for discharge, and accurately documenting details on the electronic prescribing system.
- Maintaining safe and timely care by ordering medication through the electronic prescribing system to help prevent missed doses during a patients stay.
- Working collaboratively with pharmacy colleagues and ward staff at all levels to help ensure the smooth and effective running of the service.
- Dispensing medication on the ward for discharge, supporting timely patient flow, and assisting the pharmacy team with counselling patients on newly prescribed treatments.
- Transferring medication between wards when required to support continuity of care.
- Providing support to nursing staff, helping them with medication queries and ordering needs.
- Contributing to staff development by supporting the training of Pharmacy Support Workers, Trainee Pharmacy Technicians, Pharmacy Technicians, and Trainee and Foundation Pharmacists.

We are seeking a Finance Assistant who will support the delivery of the financial services function within the ICB.

The proposed Essex Integrated Care Board (ICB) will be a new organisation formed through the consolidation of three ICB areas in response to the NHSs ambition to deliver a more streamlined, strategic and cost-effective model of health commissioning. The Finance Assistant supports the overall delivery of financial services and management accounting within the ICB. The team ensures the integrity of our ledger, our reporting and our annual accounts close down. ROLE PURPOSE / SUMMARY
The proposed Essex Integrated Care Board (ICB) will be a new organisation formed through the consolidation of three ICB areas in response to the NHSs ambition to deliver a more streamlined, strategic and cost-effective model of health commissioning. The ICB will oversee the commissioning of care for the approximately 2 million people who live in Essex. Operating within a reduced running cost envelope and aligned to the new requirements of ICBs in Eng By establishing clear and transparent funding arrangements, triangulated with activity and workforce within our system we aim to support our collective understanding of how resources are allocated across the system for both revenue and capital.
The Finance Assistant supports the overall delivery of financial services and management accounting within the ICB. Job summary
The postholder's duties will be primarily at the John Radcliffe Hospital but it is a condition of the appointment that the postholder will be willing to work in any of the Trust's other sites.
One whole-time/part-time post as a Locum Consultant in Cardiothoracic Anaesthesiais now available at the John Radcliffe Hospital.
This appointment is on a whole-time/part-time basis but applications are welcome from those who wish to job share. This locum post is fixed term for 12 months in the first instance.

There are established aortic and mitral surgical programs which include minimally invasive mitral and complex aortic operations.
Cardiology procedures requiring anaesthetic support include ablation, complex device insertion and extractions, TAVI and other structural inventions including percutaneous edge to edge valve repair.
The Cardiothoracic Critical Care Unit provides both Level 2 and Level 3 care to patients after both cardiac and thoracic surgery and also following emergency and elective Cardiological procedures. The unit receives over 1500 admissions per year. Most are planned admissions, but the unit also receives emergency admissions including those transferred from other hospitals for emergency Cardiothoracic surgery and Cardiothoracic patients who become critically ill on the ward. Emergency admissions also include patients after emergency percutaneous coronary intervention and out of hospital arrest.
CTCCU patients receive a full range of organ support procedures including ventricular assist devices, VA ECMO, Impella and haemofiltration.
Clinical
