Our dispensing service is fully outsourced, freeing you from dispensary commitments and allowing you to focus on clinical practice. In addition, on-call responsibilities are managed remotely, offering greater flexibility and work-life balance.
Role highlights:
Deliver high-quality, patient-focused clinical pharmacy services
Undertake medicines reconciliation, reuse checks, and ordering
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimise medicines use
Support specialist areas includingperinatal mental health(Mother& Baby Unit),CAMHsinpatient services,low secure forensic units& MHIST (mental health intensive support team)
Contribute to service development, audit,teachingand quality improvement
Opportunities to develop clinicalexpertiseand leadership skills
Main duties of the job
- To provide, develop and promote a responsive, patient focused, highly specialised clinical pharmacy service to patients and staff within Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
- To deliver specialist information and expert advice to all members of the multidisciplinary team to maximise patient pharmaceutical care and ensure that medicines are prescribed, administered and supplied in a safe, effective and economic manner and to reduce harm caused by medication errors.
- To provide direct supervision and training to clinical pharmacy staff, develop and provide training regarding the use of medicines and medicines management principles to clinical staff, non-clinical staff, service users and carers.
- To support the Head of Clinical Pharmacy Services- Bed Based & Place Based in the delivery of all aspects of the Pharmacy Service

Main duties of the job
Working alongside our existing People and HR Advisors and People and HR Business Partners, you will have extensive experience of handling a range of HR case work including formal investigations and have an up-to-date working knowledge of employment legislation. As a Bank People and HR Advisor you will provide a comprehensive and professional advice and support service across services within ECCH. You will provide advice and support to managers and staff on a range of workforce matters in areas such as interpretation of policies and procedures, terms and conditions, absence management and employee relations (investigations, disciplinary, performance management, grievance, conflict, etc.).

Main duties of the job
- Providing specialist assessment, diagnosis and intervention to children and young people with complex communication needs and dysphagia (eating, drinking and swallowing disorders) needs as relevant to the role. This will include supporting parents, school staff and other professionals in all issues related to client management. Liaison with the MDT is an integral part of the role.
- To assess the needs for, develop and implement specialist Speech and Language Therapy treatment to children referred to the SLT service to mainstream schools
- To provide advice to others regarding the management and care of children with communicationdifficulties
- To be accountable for own professional actions and recognise own professional boundaries, seeking advice from senior colleagues as appropriate
- The post holder will also provide some day-to-day supervision and peer review support to less experienced colleagues and students, including second opinions when necessary.
- The post holder will run appropriate in service training independently for school and other staff.

The successful candidate will provide specialist Speech and Language Therapy support to school-aged children in mainstream school settings, working with a range of speech, language and communication needs (SLCN).
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinician who is passionate about supporting children to develop their communication skills and achieve their full potential within an inclusive educational environment.
Main duties of the job
- Taking the lead within the SLT service to deliver the new non-statutory specialist service for children 4-6 years of age with a high level of Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN). This will involve providing a specialist service to children attending mainstream schools with SLCN and working closely with the specialist SLCN teacher, teaching assistants, parents/carers, and school staff to enable children to develop their speech, language and communication skills and to access the curriculum.
- Providing advice to others regarding the management and care of children with communication difficulties
- Being accountable for own professional actions and recognise own professional boundaries, seeking advice from senior colleagues as appropriate
- The post holder will also provide some day-to-day supervision and peer review support to less experienced colleagues and students, including second opinions when necessary.

Newcastle Sexual Health Team have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and committed Sexual Health Specialist Nurse. We are looking for a qualified sexual health nurse, who is friendly and enthusiastic, with a flexible approach to provide support to the clinical team. This is a permanent full/part-time position, which will predominantly be based within the community sexual health clinic at Newcastle Sexual Health Service in Summerhill. Job summary
The integrated care pathway for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) provides a spirometry service across the community and within the chest clinic at the hospital.
The lung function department is part of the chest clinic and is an integral part of supporting diagnosis through a variety of lung function tests.
The post holder will be responsible for carrying out routine lung function investigations to a high standard and in a professional manner whilst working within departmental guidelines, both at Lewisham Hospital and also in the community setting. They will be required to lead on spirometry training, offering support and guidance to practitioners across a variety of healthcare settings and taking an active role in the continuing professional development of their colleagues.
They will be a clinically credible practitioner who can provide effective patient care in a range of clinical settings, having regard for relevant policies. The job will involve using various computerised systems, e.g. the Oracle, Sage; Integra Finance System's to support the requisitioning of goods and services.

Main duties of the job

4.Where an appropriate Public Sector contract does not exist the post holder will seek "best buy" opportunities by considering alternative sources of supply and constantly challenge suppliers for improved discounts.

Job summary
An exciting new opportunity has arisen at University Hospitals of Birmingham for a highly specialist physiotherapist to join our supportive and innovative team. The postholder will be responsible for managing their own caseload of patients within our complex breathlessness multidisciplinary service, working alongside our two existing highly experienced band 7 physiotherapists.
It is an opportunity to work within a supportive and specialist MDT in a service that is expanding and developing in order to address a previously unmet need within the BSOL area. The post involves advanced assessment and treatment of patients with complex breathlessness including those with suspected or confirmed breathing pattern disorder. Patients referred to this service often have a highly complex presentation and may have associated factors such as inducible laryngeal obstruction, excessive dynamic airway collapse or asthma. Physiotherapy is an integral part of this service and alongside the MDT you will ensure that patients receive a comprehensive and holistic assessment and treatment plan.
You will need experience working as a qualified band 6 or band 7 physiotherapist in an acute hospital setting, with experience of managing multiple respiratory conditions such as asthma, bronchiectasis, breathing pattern disorder.
Main duties of the job
You should be able to work as a highly specialist, autonomous practitioner with a clear passion in assessing and managing complex breathlessness within an outpatient respiratory setting. Alongside this you will be involved in providing specialist level training to the wider MDT when required and may also be asked to attend the regional complex breathlessness network meetings networking with physiotherapists working in similar roles across the country. Evidence of strong organisational, communication and leadership skills are essential to compliment your advanced physiotherapy knowledge and skills. You should be passionate about providing effective patient centred care, as well as being highly enthusiastic about service development of respiratory services
You will have the opportunity to work alongside other highly specialist staff such as speech and language therapists, psychologists and Consultants with a specialist interest in this field. There are opportunities to be involved in data collection and research within this area and to attend relevant national meetings and conferences.
The clinics run in both hospital and community centres and you may be expected to work at more than one site across the week with advanced notice.
Applicants must be prepared to participate in the Physiotherapy Out of Hours On-Call rota and 7 day working within the respiratory teams.
