Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join the Community Nursing Team as a Nursing Assistant within the Blyth District Nursing Team however you may occasionally cover the surrounding teams. The district nursing team work in close Partnership with GPs practices also delivering a service to our housebound and care home patients.
The Trust is committed to provide opportunities for development for all staff to help reach their full potential and if not already obtained there is an expectation that the Care Certificate Programme will be completed. We also provide training opportunities to enhance clinical skills required to provide high and safe quality care in line with the Trusts values.
The Nursing Assistant within a community setting works as a member of a wider community nursing team to delivery clinical care to patients including the performance of diagnostic tests and the delivery of personal and delegated nursing care to individuals with chronic health problems. Although the post holder receives support and supervision from registered nurses she / her is expected to work unsupervised in the patient's own home, the surgery and in residential home environments.
The Nursing Assistant will have delegated responsibility to order and rotate stock to support the team.

Main duties of the job
- The performance of personal care tasks and clinical interventions delegated by registered nurses including simple dressings, enemata, catheter care, eye drops etc.
- The delivery of personal care and support to patients with a terminal illness and their families including the provision of emotional support.
- The collection of equipment and the safe use and decontamination of such equipment between each use.
- Good communication skills with patients, relatives and colleagues. Communication with patients, relatives, colleagues and other agencies to ensure the continuity of patient care and onward referral where necessary.

Main duties of the job
The Pharmacy Technician is an integral member of the general practice team and will work within their professional competencies to:

The Pharmacy Technician will work as an integral member of the multidisciplinary primary care team, supporting the safe, accurate and effective use of medicines within the practice population.

The Pharmacy Technician will work as an integral member of the multidisciplinary primary care team, supporting the safe, accurate and effective use of medicines within the practice population.

This is firstly a training role within CYP IAPT. The post-holder will work in the Tees Valley Getting Help Team as part of a wider team of practitioners, delivering, with supervision, high-quality; brief outcome focused evidence-based interventions for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties. These may include psycho-education, self-help and work with presentation such as anxiety, low mood and anger.

Main duties of the job

An exciting, opportunity has arisen for an experienced senior registered nurse to join the Scarborough Integrated community team, adult mental health.
We are looking to recruit a Band 7 Clinical Specialist Nurse within our adult community mental health team. The successful applicant will be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with considerable skills and experience, and a thorough knowledge and understanding of Community services in planed care.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will ensure high professional standards of nursing practice in accordance with the NMC code of Conduct, with professional accountability to the Nursing and Governance Directorate. Job summary
The postholder will work as part of the Patient Movement team providing a 24 hour, 7 days per week efficient and effective service throughout the Trust transferring patients from one ward to another and/or clinical area via wheelchair, trolleys or beds.
The postholder will also be responsible for the transportation of items required for immediate patient care including items such as medical gases, samples, fluids, bloods, medication.
To adopt a caring and friendly manner at all times.

Transfer deceased patients to the mortuary in a dignified manner ensuring the safe opening and closing of the mortuary.
Ensure that patient movement requests are actioned promptly.
Inform the supervisory/management team of any untoward incident and equipment faults.

Main duties of the job
The main duties of the role include:
oTo line manage and supervise the Assistant Technical Officers
oTo support the production, training and implementation of SOPs.
oTo undertake specialist rotational placements in the Medicines Packing Unit, Medicines Governance and Integrated Urgent Care/111 (IUC/111).
oTo maintain a high standard of clinical work and pharmaceutically check and release packed drugs packs.
oTo order, receipt, dispense and check controlled drugs.
oTo work closely with the IUC lead pharmacist, Trust Medication Safety Officer, chief pharmacy technician and production manager.
oTravel is required to other LAS Trust sites as necessary for meetings and audit work.
oTo train and assess medicines support staff

Job description Job responsibilities To contribute to the provision of an efficient and effective pain service within Sussex MSK Health. To work autonomously as a clinical specialist practitioner, using advanced clinical skills, to assess, diagnose, treat and manage patients with musculoskeletal conditions, with access to investigations under Advanced Practitioner supervision. - Degree in Physiotherapy/ osteopathy/ OT/ podiatry
- HCPC/General Osteopathic Council Registration

- Masters level qualification or equivalent experience
- Member of the British Pain Society or equivalent professional membership associated with profession

- Extensive experience within the NHS or equivalent.
- Up to date professional development portfolio inclusive of specialist pain development.
- Evidence of relevant post graduate courses/CPD and reflective practice
- Experience of supervising staff and students.
- Involvement in carrying out clinical audit including the co-ordination and evaluation of, and the use of findings to make service developments.
- Proven understanding of clinical governance with risk management, its importance and an awareness of how it is carried out.
- Working knowledge of a wide range of assessment and treatment approaches in the management of patients with Chronic pain and Neuromusculoskeletal pathology, demonstrated by advanced clinical reasoning.
