An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated and dynamic individual to join the Macmillan Urology cancer nursing team. We are looking to recruit an experienced Cancer Nurse.
As a Macmillan Urology Cancer CNS, you will work as part of the multidisciplinary team, ensuring that patients with urology cancer receive the highest standard of care and support from diagnosis, throughout the cancer pathway, and to live with and beyond cancer.
Main duties of the job
To perform an effective key role within the MDT to deliver cancer waiting times targets and pathways communication.
To act as a specialist resource for patients and the clinical team by providing comprehensive advice, information, teaching and training both within LNWUHT and externally.
Update own clinical and specialist knowledge. Contribute to audit processes. Undertake, where appropriate, nursing research with published outcomes.
Promote excellence in clinical practice, and the setting of quality standards within specialty.
Active involvement in the development of the service locally and nationally.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Specialist Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) to join our bank team, working 7.5 hours per week on Fridays.
The successful candidate will work with school-aged children in mainstream school settings, supporting children and young people with a range of speech, language and communication needs (SLCN). This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinician to use their specialist skills to deliver high-quality assessment, intervention and advice within an educational environment.
Main duties of the job
- Providing specialist assessment, diagnosis and intervention to children and young people with complex communication needs and dysphagia (eating, drinking and swallowing disorders) needs as relevant to the role. This will include supporting parents, school staff and other professionals in all issues related to client management. Liaison with the MDT is an integral part of the role.
- To assess the needs for, develop and implement specialist Speech and Language Therapy treatment to children referred to the SLT service to mainstream schools
- To provide advice to others regarding the management and care of children with communicationdifficulties
- To be accountable for own professional actions and recognise own professional boundaries, seeking advice from senior colleagues as appropriate
- The post holder will also provide some day-to-day supervision and peer review support to less experienced colleagues and students, including second opinions when necessary.
- The post holder will run appropriate in service training independently for school and other staff.
- The post holder will have well developed specialist skills in a specialist area of SLCN within the broad range of speech, language and communication needs encountered within the caseload of school aged children
- The post holder will liaise with other colleagues across a range of statutory and non-statutory agencies.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking motivated and experienced Band 6 Podiatrists to join our Bank team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work flexibly across our community podiatry services, providing high-quality care while gaining experience in a variety of clinical settings.
As a Bank Band 6 Podiatrist, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of podiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe, effective and patient-centred care. The role requires flexibility to work across different clinic locations and community settings, travelling between sites as needed. Main duties of the job

Main duties of the job
Maintaining a highly visible deterrent by patrolling of hospital site on foot. In doing this checking all property and land associated with the Trust & CHS is secure and free of hazard.

Newcastle Sexual Health Team have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and committed Sexual Health Specialist Nurse. We are looking for a qualified sexual health nurse, who is friendly and enthusiastic, with a flexible approach to provide support to the clinical team. This is a permanent full/part-time position, which will predominantly be based within the community sexual health clinic at Newcastle Sexual Health Service in Summerhill. However, there may be times when the employee would need to work at Gateshead Trinity Square Health Centre and Palmers Community Hospital in Jarrow and outreach clinical locations.

As part of Staffordshire Talking Therapies, you will work alongside an experienced team delivering NHS Talking Therapies interventions to people experiencing common mental health difficulties, including depression and anxiety. Job summary
The integrated care pathway for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) provides a spirometry service across the community and within the chest clinic at the hospital.
The lung function department is part of the chest clinic and is an integral part of supporting diagnosis through a variety of lung function tests.
The post holder will be responsible for carrying out routine lung function investigations to a high standard and in a professional manner whilst working within departmental guidelines, both at Lewisham Hospital and also in the community setting. - Experience of performing spirometry, FeNo and reversibility testing using MDI's

- Experience of working within a lung function/spirometry service.
- Experience of working within varied clinical settings including the community.
- Issuing overnight sleep studies and capillary blood gases.
Qualifications

- 'BSc in Respiratory and sleep physiology or equivalent
