Job summary
Exciting Post in Children Young Peoples Mental Health Service 0-18 Team
We are recruiting to a Clinical Support Worker post 0-18 Children & Young People's Mental Health Service (CYPMHS).
This is a fixed term post and will be based at the Birch Centre in Birkenhead, although working in the community or young persons home will be required.
Its is essential that applicants already have experience of working with children & young people and/or working within mental health community provisions
The Trust currently supports the RealLivingWage(RLW) hourly rate as set by theLivingWageFederation and will apply a pay supplement if the national A4C hourly rate falls below this.
Main duties of the job
To support the delivery and provision of 1 to 1 interventions and facilitate groups in the 0-18 CYPMHS team to the children and young people of Wirral. The young people will be presenting with mental health issues which significantly impact upon their day to day functioning.
To work as part of the wider and multi-disciplinary service, providing clinical and clerical support in various settings under the supervision
The post requires information and computer technology skills.

- Undertake ongoing mental health risk assessments, including risks relating to self-harm, suicide, aggression, absconding, vulnerability, delirium/dementia, cognitive impairment and emotional distress.
- Deliver direct therapeutic engagement to patients requiring enhanced support, one-to-one observation or behavioural intervention.

The post holder will support the provision of the Autism Team to autistic individuals and complex healthcare needs across Lancashire and South Cumbria. Your role will be to ensure that the person's communication needs are assessed and considered. You will be a registered Speech and Language Therapist who will undertake appropriately delegated work to support the care and treatment of autistic adults within the community and inpatient settings. You will 30 hours between the hours of 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. Some flexibility is required to meet the needs of the team and the wider network. Job summary
This role involves using an in depth knowledge of research protocols and their application in practice, alongside a working knowledge and compliance with the local, national and international research regulations. The Research Nurse is an independent practitioner who is supported by other clinical experts, relevant to specific research studies, and who reports and is responsible to the Director of Research and Chief Nursing Officer respectively.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for the management, co-ordination and facilitation for a defined group of concurrent research studies, from set up to archiving, ensuring that agreed patient recruitment targets are safely achieved. Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust for an experienced band 5 or existing band 6 physiotherapist to develop their skills and knowledge within the speciality of Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy within a supportive team.
The pelvic health physiotherapy service is based at Homerton Hospital with a responsibility to provide inpatient and outpatient services, community clinics and group exercise and advice sessions. The service has close links with gynaecology, urology, colorectal and sexual health consultants, midwives, specialist nurses and GP services. The service is led by the pelvic health physiotherapy team lead and the wider Outpatient therapies lead. The Pelvic health team consists of a Band 7 lead and two rotational staff members, a static Band 6 member in addition to the role advertised.
Pelvic Health experience would be advantageous but an MSK physiotherapist with enthusiasm and drive to develop within the speciality of Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy would be considered. Potential funding is available for courses specific to development into this area. You will be encouraged and supported to develop your clinical, teaching and managerial skills and be actively involved in service development.

Main duties of the job
The work-load throughout the department is very varied and interesting with no two days being the same. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Band 3 Support Secretary to join our secretarial team within the Respiratoryteam. The post requires an individual who is resilient and adaptable to work in a fast-paced professional environment.
You as a successful candidate will be working alongside an established team of Band 4 Medical Secretaries. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the secretarial team in ensuring work is completed in a timely manner.
You will be responsible for typing clinic letters, chasing results and providing support for the secretaries and service.
You should have good communication and organisational skills, be well-organised, flexible in approach and able to use your own initiative in prioritising your workload.
Extensive knowledge of medical terminology is essential, as are audio typing skills.
A key aspect of the role involves daily communication with patients, consultants, nurses and other health and care professionals and therefore the post holder must have exceptional non-verbal and verbal skills.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and highly skilled full time, 37.50 hours a week, Band 3 Support Secretary to join our dedicated Head & Neck Secretariat team at The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford. This is a pivotal role within a supportive team of Medical Secretaries. Providing high-level secretarial support to the Head & Neck Centre, managing complex clinical correspondence using sensitive medical terminology via audio transcription. Organising and prioritising a varied workload in a fast-paced environment. Communicating effectively with multidisciplinary teams across all levels upholding the highest standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Main duties of the job
- Using Microsoft Office application, produce clinical correspondences with audio transcription. To include communication to General Practitioners and other health professionals, clinical letters, notes, and discharge summaries.
- Respond to telephone calls from anxious and distressed patients, resolving problems, when possible, in a professional and competent manner.
- Ensure all queries from colleagues and external organisations are dealt with quickly and effectively in the department, producing file notes as necessary.
- To promote the implementation and adherence of agreed policies, procedures, and protocols. Ensure the smooth running of the office/team including the assessment of priorities and the initiation of preparatory action.

As a Band 3 Clinical Support Worker on a busy gastroenterology ward, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care within a fast-paced acute environment. The post is full time permanent covering Monday to Saturday. The service operates 8am-8pm Monday to Thursday, 8am-5pm Friday and 9am-1pm Saturdays. The successful candidates working pattern will incorporate different shift types.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Advanced Biomedical Scientist to join the Cellular Pathology Department at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
This senior BMS role sits within a busy, highly specialised diagnostic service and involves shared leadership of the main laboratory section. Responsibilities span the histology pathway from embedding through to H&E quality control and case sendout, ensuring the smooth delivery of diagnostic specimens throughout the laboratory process. Working closely with a second Advanced Biomedical Scientist, you will coordinate laboratory operations, lead staff within the section, manage workflow and resources, and ensure the delivery of a high-quality diagnostic service that supports safe and timely patient care. The postholder will also have shared responsibility for the management and operation of the department's training laboratory for embedding and microtomy, supporting the development of trainee staff and contributing to the department's education and workforce development agenda.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will join an established senior team comprising five other Advanced Biomedical Scientists, with leadership responsibilities across the main laboratory, reception and dissection, further work, and molecular diagnostics.

The post is primarily based at St James's University Hospital, Leeds, and plays an important role within the Trust's wider Pathology service.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a fixed term, full time position as a Medical Laboratory Assistant / Healthcare Science Assistant, as part of the ED Opt Out Project.
You will support the Biomedical Scientists and microbiology team in providing a clinical technical service to achieve efficient and effective patient care. Working as part of a team, to carry out the receipt, booking-in, processing and testing of specimens to provide a diagnostic microbiology service. Main duties of the job
- To work in an effective and efficient way following the appropriate Trust and directorate policies, procedures and guidelines including the departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Prepares and processes patient specimens.
- Prepares blood samples for immunoassay testing.
- Prepares specimens for PCR testing.
- Prepares urine samples for microscopy.

- Selects single colonies and inoculates test cards for processing through the VITEK2 identification machine.

Job summary
We are looking for a salaried GP to join our established team working between 4 and 8 sessions per week.
In general the post-holder will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care namely:
- In person consultations.
- Telephone consultations.

- You will offer generic prescribing, adhering to local and national guidance
- Maintain accurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy and guidance
- Work collaboratively with practice team and wider PCN team.
- Adhere to best practice recommended through clinical guidelines and the audit process
- Attend and contribute effectively to practice meetings as required
- Ensure compliance with the appraisal process
- Provide reports for employers, solicitors and insurance companies and complete medical certificates, benefit agency forms etc.
- Ensure that all work carried out which carries a private fee is properly recouped and accounted for.
