This role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday Service. The Team's base is at Resource house in Wokingham where you are surrounded by local cafs and shops. The role combines both remote, community and office working with hot desking bases across Berkshire.
Main duties of the job
In this rewarding role, you will act as a Care Coordinator, delivering high-quality, trauma-informed, and evidence-based interventions to birthing people and their families at a crucial stage of life.
You'll undertake comprehensive specialist assessments, develop collaborative care plans, and provide or transfer into therapeutic interventions that promote recovery, resilience, and positive parent-infant relationships.
You will be working autonomously and collaboratively within a highly skilled multidisciplinary team--including other MH practitioners' psychiatrists, psychologists, mental health wellbeing practitioner's nursery nurses and support workers and closely linked to specialist midwives, health visitors, other community MH teams and social care partners.
You'll contribute your expertise to risk management, safeguarding, and case formulation. You'll also liaise closely with maternity services, health visiting, adult MH services, primary care, and community agencies to ensure seamless, holistic care and recovery in the community.

The appointee will join an enthusiastic and friendly of Respiratory Medicine which is an integral part of the Division of Emergency Care and Medicine at the QEH.
Respiratory Inpatients are looked after in Necton ward which has one dedicated bay for NIV patients 4 general bays , 3 side rooms and a procedure room, In total we look after 32 Patients. 2 respiratory teams at any one time divides patients between them and our 3rd consultant is in charge of General medical and other specialty ward referrals and our 4th consultant does the in reach for Acute medical area.
Outpatient work and Lung cancer referrals are divided among all four consultants. Weekly there are 2 bronchoscopy/EBUS lists and one pleural clinic run by the existing team. Research and tertiary referrals are undertaken in collaboration with CUH and Papworth. The unit actively participates in the local and national audits. The post-holder will follow their standard job plan
Main duties of the job
To take consultant responsibility for allocated inpatients, with support from a designated team of junior doctors based on the respiratory ward.
To provide Consultant led in reach service to ward and acute medicine referrals.
To conduct general respiratory outpatient clinics Lung cancer clinics
To maintain effective communication and handover to the on-call team.
To Work within a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals and managers to further develop local respiratory services.
To take part in the weekend General Medical on-call rota with colleagues, currently 1 in 18, as first on-call 8:30 till 20:30 and a second on call covers the wards from 9:00 till 14:30 at weekends. 1:18 week day night on calls.

Job summary
The Pharmacy Department at UHB are currently recruiting Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician apprentices to begin a vocational training programme commencing February/March 2027. Multiple posts are available at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, Birmingham Heartlands Hospital, Good Hope Hospital and Solihull Hospital.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the post holder to not only work as part of a pharmacy team, but also learn the key functions of a pharmacy technician role under the guidance and support of pharmacy professionals. You will attend Walsall College one day a week to complete the Open Awards Level 3 Diploma in the Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians (RQF).
The posts are full time, 2 year, fixed term contracts. Upon successful completion you will be able to register with the GPhC. The salary for this training post is £25,272 (AfC Band 2), unless NHS pay preservation provision applies (AfC Annex 30). You will also receive 27 days annual leave per year plus Bank Holidays.
The minimum entry requirements are:
4 GCSE's including Science, English Language & Maths grade C/4 or equivalent. Certificates must be seen prior to interview.
Pharmacy Services Level 2 will be accepted as an alternative to GCSE Science and experience working within a pharmacy environment is desirable but not essential.

Pharmacy Technicians are vital members of the pharmacy team and contribute greatly to today's
NHS healthcare team. The role of a Pharmacy Technician is becoming more varied and complex as
medicines become increasingly sophisticated. Career opportunities for a Pharmacy Technician post
qualification include, medicines management roles, manufacturing, quality control, staff training,
information technology, supplies procurement, clinical trials or medicines information services and
managing staff and sections within the Pharmacy Department.
Pharmacy Technicians are involved in the preparation, dispensing and supply of medicines to wards,
departments and directly to patients. They support Pharmacists in providing safe and effective drug
treatment for all our patients.
Pharmacy Technicians need to be able to work in a systematic and accurate manner and to have
good numeracy skills. They also need to be able to communicate well with people. Previous
experience in a pharmacy or other health care setting would be desirable but is not essential.
Strong organisational and time management skills are essential to ensure the successful
achievement of the Diploma whilst working under the supervision of a Pharmacist.

Job summary
We are looking for 2 enthusiastic people to join our housekeeping team working the following shift:
Saturday and Sunday 18:00 - 23:00
You will work as a team but also on your own, once all training is completed.
Main duties of the job
The weekend shift is to work on Theatres and to complete the following tasks:
To clean the theatres thoroughly
Emptying and cleaning all bins before replacing bin bags
To ensure all changing rooms are cleaned thoroughly and dirty linen is disposed of correctly.
To ensure all top ups of toilet rolls and paper towels are completed.
To ensure all theatre floors are scrubbed off.

In June 2014 a ban was implanted which meant staff, contractors and volunteers were no longer permitted to smoke in any of the hospital grounds, including car parks.
