Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a 34.5 hour post working within a busy Minor Injury Unit/Outpatient Department/Wards at Newquay Community Hospital.
This post requires the successful candidate to carry out minor injury treatments such as dressings, plastering, general observations and triage.
Interviews will be held on 24th November for this position.
Main duties of the job
The ideal candidate will have experience working in an Urgent care/MIU/OPD and will have completed MIU skills/triage workbooks.
Work will include:
The provision of assistance to the MIU/OPD trained staff within the minor injury unit/outpatient department in planning, delivering, and evaluating care.
Providing the booking in of patients and attending to patient's general needs in the OPD. All interventions will be carried out to a high standard under the supervision of the trained MIU/OPD practitioners
To provide A&C support as needed to members of the team.
An ability to work under pressure in an emergency setting and a willingness to undertake further skills training is essential.

T Level Technical Qualification in Health (Occupational Specialism - Supporting the Adult Nusing Team)
As an Examiner, youll use your subject knowledge to mark external assessments and submit results throughout the summer 2027 marking window, helping to ensure learners receive fair, consistent and accurate results.

At NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) we work with more than just blood and solid organs. Our donors also donate multiple types of tissue and its within our Tissue and Eye Services team that you could play your role in significantly transforming hundreds of lives each year.
As a Senior Retrieval Assistant, you would be responsible for supporting the work of the Retrieval team, performing a range of routine tasks which relate to the donation, transport, and follow-up of deceased and live tissue donors.
You will be involved in retrieving multiple types of tissues including skin, eye, bone, heart and tendons from newly deceased donors, so its essential that you are comfortable with this aspect of the job. We understand that this is a unique role, and we don't expect you to be fully trained initially. Hence, we offer a comprehensive training program, detailed below. However, you do need to have either a Higher National Diploma or NVQ Level 3 in healthcare or Science or relevant science field.

Main duties of the job
You will work flexibly across the range of activities as rostered and will additionally assist in developing the service in anticipation of future clinical needs. Your responsibilities will include:

Job summary
We are looking for an experienced, practical and flexible Estates Mobile Technician (Multi-Skilled) to join our Estates team based at Erleigh House, Reading. You will provide day-to-day engineering and building maintenance across Berkshire Healthcare sites, helping to keep our clinical and support environments safe, reliable and operational. The role suits a multi-skilled technician who can diagnose faults, work independently, support colleagues and contractors, and deliver high-quality planned and reactive maintenance across a broad range of building and engineering services. Main duties of the job

Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced band 5, or existing band 6, Occupational therapist to join our integrated therapy teams on a , based in the acute setting at The Royal Oldham Hospital.
You will rotate across general medicine , respiratory medicine , the acute medical unit, colorectal and vascular surgery .
You will experience a wide range of complex medical conditions requiring advanced assessment and discharge planning skills, support and supervise junior members of the team and contribute to innovative service development across the department.
Main duties of the job
You will work closely with our multi-disciplinary team, working within an integrated model of care to provide timely assessments, rehabilitation and support with discharge planning for our patients.
You will gain experience of working in a busy and pro-active environment where evidence based practice is embedded and joint working, service development and CPD is encouraged.
As a band 6 you will receive support from the band 7 team leader and peers. You will be expected to provide supervision to more junior staff and students.
The service operates over seven days and as such some weekend working is required as part of the role.

Job summary
We are looking for an ACP to join our innovative Ageing Well Team across the PCN. The post holder will provide proactive, person-centered care for people living with moderate frailty, including undertaking and coordinating Comprehensive Geriatric Assessments (CGA) to identify medical, functional, psychological and social needs and agree individualised care plans.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated ACP (who could be from a nursing or therapy background), working closely with our O/T, physio & care coordinators to provide proactive care for the moderately and severely frail. This role is integral to the assessment of patient frailty levels & assisting with review of patients to allow the best access to care required for their support. You will be an autonomous practitioner who is adaptable, has a flexible can-do attitude with a passion for excellence & ability to work well both on their own & as part of a team.
This is a community-based role, which predominantly requires assessment of patients in their own home, therefore applicants must have a full driving license & access to a vehicle daily.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate should be an experienced practitioner who will work in partnership with other health professionals in supporting frail patients and providing holistic patient care. They will act within their professional boundaries and competencies, assessing, planning & implementing patient care.
They will participate in MDT meetings to discuss patients that the Ageing Well Team are supporting. As a result, they must have high level communication/interpersonal skills to negotiate & establish collaborative partnerships with patients & care professionals and have enthusiasm & the ability to use their own initiative.
About us
Employed by Selby Prime Care Ltd but subcontracted to Selby Town PCN, this is a role to support patients across Selby Town PCN.
The PCN works over four practice sites (Beech Tree Surgery, Escrick Surgery, Posterngate Surgery and Scott Road Medical Centre) a local voluntary sector site & our local community hospital.
The PCN has a Clinical Director, two Clinical Lead GPs and is managed by the PCN Operations Manager & Business Manager. We work in increasingly collaborative partnerships across several workstreams, which include important priority areas of mental health, frailty, urgent care and health inequalities. Our team consists of a diverse multi-professional workforce which includes pharmacists, MSK practitioners, mental health workers, care coordinators, social prescribing link workers, a frailty therapy team, an urgent care coordinator, UCPs, paramedics, ACPs, a transformation lead, a digital lead, health & wellbeing coach.

Main duties of the job
Based in the Care Coordination Centre (CCC,) the Team Administrator will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service and safe and efficient administrative support across our Adults and Urgent Community Response, and Children and Young People Services.
They will be required to liaise with parents/ carers, healthcare professionals and other colleagues on a frequent basis dealing with a wide range of standard administrative tasks including booking appointments and answering general enquiries via the telephone and email. Job summary
Due to the expansion of our existing medical equipment library service, an exciting opportunity has arisen for four motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join the Medical Device Service team as a Medical Equipment Library Officer.
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will help provide an efficient and responsive medical equipment management service across the Trust, including community.
The successful candidates will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the Medical Equipment Library, supporting clinical teams by ensuring medical equipment is available, safe, clean and ready for use. This is a varied and hands-on role requiring excellent organisational skills, the ability to prioritise workload effectively and a commitment to delivering high standards of service within a healthcare environment.
You will regularly work across clinical areas and hospital sites, liaising with healthcare professionals and supporting the safe management, movement and tracking of medical equipment. Full training will be provided, including first-line functional equipment checks and operational procedures.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will support the operational delivery of the Medical Equipment Library service across the Trust. Duties will include arranging the delivery and collection of medical equipment between wards and departments (including community locations), maintaining accurate equipment records and ensuring equipment is available for loan, storage or repair.
The role involves carrying out functional checks on equipment following appropriate training, undertaking equipment audits, managing stock rotation and supporting stock control processes. The post holder will also provide advice and assistance to ward staff regarding equipment held within the library.
Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate database records, responding to telephone/electronic enquiries, supporting administrative functions within the department and ensuring compliance with Trust policies, including infection prevention, decontamination and health and safety procedures.
The successful candidates will be expected to prioritise workload effectively, work independently when required and contribute positively to maintaining an efficient and responsive service for clinical teams and patients across the organisation.

The Deputy Head of Programme Delivery will play a pivotal leadership role within Health Innovation East Midlands (HIEM), providing operational leadership across a portfolio of high-profile programmes operating at national, regional, and local levels.
As part of our expanding Programme Delivery Team, you will lead complex programmes, support stakeholder engagement, and coach colleagues in programme and improvement methodologies. We are looking for a proven leader with significant experience delivering large-scale transformation, innovation, or improvement programmes within the public sector.
This role is offered as full-time, permanent position and will be subject to a six-month probationary period.
Main duties of the job
Working closely with the Heads of Programme Delivery, the post holder will lead the development, implementation and delivery of complex programmes focused on patient safety, quality improvement, and the adoption and spread of innovation across health and social care systems.
The role will support the identification, evaluation, implementation and scaling of evidence-based innovations that improve patient outcomes and patient and staff experience, while delivering measurable system wide benefits.
A key focus will be building sustainable improvement capability and capacity across partner organisations to strengthen patient safety and support long-term quality improvement and effective use of resources. The post holder will work collaboratively with NHS organisations, local authorities, academia, industry partners and other stakeholders to transform services and promote best practice.
The post holder will also:
- Provide leadership and oversight for a portfolio of complex, high-profile programmes and projects across patient safety, innovation adoption and quality improvement.
- Ensure programmes are delivered to agreed objectives, timescales, budgets and quality standards
- Lead the development and implementation of programme plans, evaluation frameworks and sustainability strategies
- Support the adoption, spread and scaling of proven innovations across health and care systems
- Ensure robust governance arrangements, including risk management, assurance, monitoring and reporting
