Job summary
Work as part of the Facilities Services Team within the Community Hospitals to carry out a range of duties associated with the provision of professional cleaning. Contribute to the maintenance of a hygienic and clean environment for patients, staff and visitors to ensure the highest standards are met at all times. At all times the position demands the respect for patient privacy, dignity and confidentiality. The post holder is expected to comply with Trust Infection Control Policies and work in such a manner as to minimise the risk of healthcare associated infection.

The main elements of the role are ensuring the delivery of general environmental cleaning on the wards including responsibility for the cleaning of all sanitary areas such as toilets, bathrooms, showers and sluice rooms, and daily and weekly cleaning of patient equipment. Complete the daily cleaning of bays and side rooms, nurses station and other areas on a designated ward area as specified on the allocated daily work schedule. Ensure cleaning is carried out in accordance with National Specification for Cleanliness in the NHS (2021) PAS 5748 Cleanliness in Healthcare Facilities, the Trust Cleaning Policy, Patient Equipment Cleaning Policy and the agreed cleaning schedule. Terminally clean bed spaces & side rooms as required. Ensure that alcohol gel dispensers, hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and, where required, aprons and gloves are replenished as needed to maintain high standards of hand hygiene, infection prevention, and control, thereby reducing the risk of cross-infection between patients. Emptying, cleaning and relining waste bins with appropriate coloured liner. Securing and placing them for disposal to ensure regulations for clinical and non-clinical waste (including compacting) are adhered to. Cleaning of internal glass and mirrors as detailed on the daily work schedule. Vacuum clean all carpeted floor surfaces and to static and damp mop all hard floor surfaces to ensure all areas are free from dust, dirt and grit. Clean and dry sanitary areas including WCs, wash hand basins, baths, showers, sinks and sluices (if present in work area).
Other duties associated with this role may include; Collect and deliver mail. Complete duties associated with the cleanliness of the exterior area e.g. bins and car park roads. Deliver/replenish gas cylinders as required. Distribute linen to wards and associated areas and other laundry duties as required, including the operation of washing machines and dryers and the treatment/disposal of dirty laundry.
Working Pattern: Week 1- Monday- 06:00-10:00, Tuesday- Day off, Wednesday- 06:00-10:00,Thursday -15:00-19:00, Friday -Day off, Sat & Sun- 06:00-10:00

Job summary
We are looking to recruit an experienced haemodialysis nurse as Band 7 Unit Manager to lead the delivery of haemodialysis treatment to patients.
We are a 28 station hub unit and work closely with the 6 satellite dialysis units across the region, the renal ward at Preston and our Home Therapy Unit based at Chorley that make up our renal service.
The unit is open from 7am to 9pm Monday to Saturday and 9am to 5pm Sunday. We also have an on call service overnight for out of hours, emergency dialysis.
The post holder will lead an enthusiastic team of staff to ensure a high standard of care is provided to our dialysis patients and ensuring that the unit and services are utilised efficiently and effectively.
Main duties of the job
- To work at a senior level within the department using clinical skills and knowledge to give advice and support to staff, patients and relatives.
- Leading the clinical team in planning effective, timely and safe haemodialysis care in line with Trust/departmental protocols.
- Provide professional leadership within the nursing environment and foster collaborative partnerships with the multi-professional team.

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and motivated Counsellor/Psychological Practitioner to join our specialist Renal Psychology Service, which sits within the wider Clinical Health Psychology Service at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of an integrated multidisciplinary team supporting adults living with chronic kidney disease, dialysis treatment, kidney transplantation, and associated adjustment and coping difficulties. Job summary
Are you good at practical tasks? Would you like a role in the NHS that prepares medicines for patients? Here we will fully train you to become Aseptic Unit Pharmacy Assistant where your rewarding role will be to prepare a range of injectable medicines.
You will work as a member of a friendly, highly skilled team of people all working to deliver products that are consistently produced and controlled to a particular quality standard (Good Manufacturing Practice GMP).
You will have good literacy and numeracy skills in addition to good dexterity to handle syringes and needles for accurate measurements of injections, working to procedures at all times. There are opportunities for further training and development.
Pharmacy experience is not essential as full training for the role is provided
You will be required to work one evening per week until 7pm and bank holidays on a rota.
Main duties of the job
The role will involve the preparation of a wide range of injectable products such as; chemotherapy, parenteral nutrition, antibiotics. To do this requires the use of specialist equipment and working within clean rooms. Adhering to strict clothing and personal hygiene procedures is essential and you will have to meet the highest standards of discipline, attention to detail and clean room behaviours.
Medicines are manufactured under the Trust's 'Specials' Licence granted by the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA). The Manufacturing units operate under the name of Preston Pharmaceuticals (PP), and include Non Sterile Medicines Manufacture, Radiopharmacy and Aseptic Services, and an Extemporaneous Dispensing Service.

We are looking for an organised, motivated and compassionate Support Medical Secretary to join our Acute Paediatrics team. This role is central to supporting the delivery of our Diabetes and Endocrine Service.

The Special Schools Nursing Network partners with special schools to ensure children with complex health needs can safely access education.
By working collaboratively as a network, we enhance the capacity of our nursing service, prioritising and delivering training and competencyassessments for school staff across designated schools.
Special Schools Nurses assess and triage to determine health tasks that can be delegated to school staff, who are then trained, supervised, andassessed for competency in delivering these tasks. This process includes ongoing supervision and observation throughout the year to ensureschool staff feel supported and remain proficient. Additionally, staff receive refresher training, and their competency is reassessed annually orsooner if required.

We are recruiting for a Public Health Assistanttowork alongside Health Visitors and Senior Public Health Assistants to support the delivery of services for children and families across Ashford.
Our Health Visiting Service delivers the Healthy Child Programme, supporting families with babies and children under five to achieve the best possible health and wellbeing outcomes. Main duties of the job
Our therapy teams provide support to people who need extra help to allow them to get home safely following an illness or operation. We work in a range of setting including patient's homes, community hospitals and clinics.
As an Advanced Support Worker you will support patients to follow a care plan and provide feedback to the rest of the team on their progress. You will use your knowledge and expertise to provide a safe environment which supports patients to reach their therapy goals.
As an Advanced Support Worker you will work as part of a team to keep patients safe and well in Margate. You will use your clinical judgment to support evidence-based care planning and make sure that people who use our services have a good experience.
