Main duties of the job

Your focus as General Manager will be to lead and inspire a team to deliver excellent person-centred quality care to residents in a safe, caring and stimulating environment, whilst meeting regulatory requirement, professional and statutory standards, and business performance targets.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality care, person centred care and ensuring residents receive care based on best practice.
- Being responsible for the ongoing recruitment, retention, and development of staff within the Home.
- Acting as a focal point for contact with residents, their relatives, and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in residents wellbeing.
- Ensuring safe staffing levels are reviewed and maintained in accordance with both occupancy and dependency.
- Providing on-going inspirational leadership and management to the staff team.
- Ensuring costs are well managed and maintained within budgetary controls, by reviewing regularly and monitoring stock.

Following the release of ARRS GP information and funding we are looking for newly qualified (within 2 years and not having a substantive post), enthusiastic forward thinking GP(s) to join Harness North PCN working atChurch Ln Surgeryon a fixed term salaried contract, preferably with an immediate start date.
The post holder will demonstrate courageous and critical thinking and is a caring, compassionate and committed general practitioner who, acting within their professional boundaries, will deliver high quality medical care and services to the practice population, managing a clinical caseload and dealing with a diverse range of health needs. This will include, but is not limited to, surgery and telephone consultations, home visits, administration, complying with the practices contracts (APMS/GMS/PMS/enhanced services).
The post holder will commit to demonstrating critical thinking in the safe clinical decision-making process. They will communicate and work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients.

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and inspirational senior nurse to join the Care Division of Medicine as Lead Nurse for the Paediatric Emergency Department, Clinical Bed Coordinators and Outpatients Services at RMCH. The key leadership role provides visible professional, clinical and operational leadership across nursing and AHP services, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and high-quality patient care inline with regulatory and professional standards.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the MDT team to drive quality improvement, patient safety, workforce development and service transformation aligned to the trust strategic aims.
Support the "One MFT" clinical leadership approach by working collaboratively with multi-professional colleagues.
Work in collaboration with Trust corporate colleagues supportingrelevant agendasbuilding for research and innovation within the Clinical Group.

Main duties of the job
The Lead Nurse will support the Head of Nursing in the professional development of nurses and allied health professionals (AHP) at all levels within the Clinical Group and will champion and embed a culture of quality improvement, research and innovation (R&I), ensuring that all services are of high quality now and in the future.
The Lead Nurse will provide clinical and professional leadership and line management to nursing and allied health professional (AHP) staff across the Care Division. The post holder will be accountable to the Care Division's Head of Nursing, providing visible leadership across a clinical service setting, monitoring and maintaining professional high standards. The post holder is an innovative and dynamic practitioner committed to delivering high standards of patient care, with a focus on quality, patient safety and compliance and patient experience. The post holder will also participate in the delivery of clinical governance and any regulatory and / or statutory requirements pertinent to the Care Division.
The Lead Nurse will be an integral member of the Care Division management and senior nursing team, providing support to implement and monitor progress on delivery of the Trust strategy and objectives within the Care Division. The post holder will support the Head of Nursing in defining the Care Division's nursing and AHP objectives to meet Trust strategic aims ensuring that quality standards and statutory and regulatory requirements are met.

Applications are invited for the post of Specialty Doctor for the Community Care of the Elderly team in Ebbw Vale.
In this role you will be working as part of a larger multidisciplinary team to deliver specialist care to our older and frail patients with a focus on enabling care closer to home. You will be joining the team at an exciting time where you will be given ample opportunities to help shape the future of community COTE services. You will be working with Frailty colleagues to streamline and support early discharge from hospital into the community.
Your principal place of work will be Ysbyty Aneurin Bevan but you may be required to work across other sites within the Health Board according to service need.
The organisation is currently developing an Older Persons pathway to improve patient outcomes and experiences from home to hospital. The implementation of this strategic piece of work is likely to impact doctors working within the COTE Directorate in the future and there is an expectation that job plans will reflect the new pathway. The job plan within this job description has elements of this change, however, candidates should be aware that further changes are likely to take place in order to successfully implement the pathway fully across the Health Board.
Main duties of the job
The main responsibilities of the post are the effective and appropriate medical care of patients in the community including acute assessments and participation in community-based rehabilitation.
- Responsibility for inpatient admission, day-to-day management, co-ordination of inpatient management under the supervision of the Consultant/Specialist Grade and/or in close liaison with community teams.
- Key role in discharge planning and co-ordinating approaches with relatives and other agencies.
- Liaison with patients and relatives/carers and members of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure the patients receive a high-quality service and are all kept informed of progress as appropriate.
- Responsibility for contemporaneous record keeping, identifying progress and plans in patients' case notes.
- Participation in Consultant rounds and facilitating multidisciplinary meetings.
- The completion of accurate and timely discharge summaries, progress reports ensuring General Practitioners are informed of any impending discharges, changes of medication and death.
- To assist Consultants in the development of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.
- The completion of e-discharge summaries on a timely basis via the Clinical Workstation system.
- To actively participate in multi-disciplinary audit, clinical effectiveness/health gain initiatives and clinical governance, taking a lead in local clinical audit activities and developing research projects, as appropriate.

AMHPs carry out statutory duties under the Mental Health Act 1983 which includes a broad range of tasks including section 13 consideration, making informed, independent decisions about the need for compulsory admission to hospital, the use of Guardianship and Community Treatment Orders to support well-being in the community. As well as undertaking the role of Social Supervision under Part 3 of the MHA.
Alongside these statutory functions, we are committed to providing advice, consultation, support and training to our partner agencies and professional colleagues. As there are no age restrictions on the individuals we assess, AMHPs work across a wide range of services and settings. This creates opportunities for close collaborative working with Community Mental Health Teams, Learning Disability and Autism Services, CAMHS, acute hospitals and other partner organisations.
Our team is committed to continuous improvement and places a strong emphasis on co-production, including how best to capture and utilise the voices of those that have experience of being assessed under the Mental Health Act and to further improve practise for the benefit of those who come into contact with our service.

Main duties of the job
The AMHP Training
The Post Graduate Certificate Approved Mental Health Professional academic course is set at accredited masters level and will be delivered by University of Lancashire in September 2027 Mental Health Practice PGCert - AMHP Course through a mix of remote learning and practice placement. The course will be financially supported by Devon County Council, and we will offer support throughout your learning and development both from the Social Care AMHP service, the daytime AMHP service and the Workforce Development Team. We will be offering full support through your AMHP pathway and the academic course, however, there will be an expectation that once qualified you remain within the AMHP role to practise as an AMHP in Devon for a minimum of two years.
On successful completion of the programme, practitioners will be considered for approval by Devon County Council as an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP). Approval is granted by a Local Social Services Authority (LSSA), and practitioners can only undertake AMHP duties once formally approved.

We have an exciting opportunity for a staff member to work in the Warrington area, covering several different GP surgeries within the working hours.
Core working hours are 9am-5pm.

Main duties of the job

Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced member of critical care staff to take up a role as a Transfer Practitioner, working for Retrieve (Severn Base).
Retrieve is the South West's dedicated Adult Critical Care Transfer Service, commissioned by NHS England South West Specialised Commissioning, hosted by Bristol NHS Foundation Trust and supported by the South West Critical Care Network (SWCCN). We are looking for a registered critical care practitioners who can deliver high-quality transfer care to critically unwell patients across the South West.
Retrieve began in November 2020, one of the first dedicated Adult Critical Care Transfer Services in the country. This truly ground-breaking service has been responsible for creating a blueprint for the national specification. Retrieve's achievements have also been recognised by being awarded the BMJ 2021 Critical Care Team of the Year award and the Intensive Care Society Impact award 2022
Retrieve provides a single point of contact for all adult critical care transfer referrals 24 hours a day via a dedicated 0300 number. All calls are managed by a Duty Consultant who triages, coordinates and can provide remote decision-support if required.
Main duties of the job
As a Band 6 Transfer Practitioner, following completion of the appropriate additional training, you will assume responsibility for the specialised care required to transfer critically ill adults. There is an expectation that you continue to develop your clinical and management skills by demonstrating an ability to work remotely in the referring centres, in partnership with the local teams.
On occasion, the role involves working independently, providing Practitioner-delivered transfers of Level 2 (high dependency) and Level 1 (ward level) patients. This is supported remotely by the Retrieve Duty Consultant and will typically involve collaborative working with a doctor from the referring hospital.
You will be expected to support and mentor new members of the multi-professional team, demonstrating an active role in the ongoing education programmes.
In partnership with the SWCCN, the post holder will support the relationship between the Service and referring centers.
Supported by the Lead Nurses and Senior Transfer Practitioner, successful applicants will be involved with service projects, audit and research, delivery and completion of education and outreach.
There will be a requirement to work shifts including nights, evenings and weekends, with the occasional potential to overrun. There will be a requirement to work with highly infectious patients and therefore a necessity to comply with infection prevention and control guidance.
